Job Summary
The Philanthropy Manager will develop a philanthropy strategy, building on the partnerships and resources already in place. You will develop a pipeline backed up by robust prospect research (some administrative assistance will be provided), and instigate a cultivation and stewardship programme, typically adopting a staged approach to major asks.
You will be accountable for the acquisition, development, and stewardship of high value supporters for CUF, both individual philanthropists and non-statutory grant-making bodies. You will develop and strengthen relationships with existing donors, as well as identifying warm prospects currently not supporting CUF financially. A key part of your role will be meeting and engaging major donor prospects to grow the pool.
You will engage with Trustees and senior leaders, to identify and nurture Christian philanthropists and grant body decision-makers within their spheres of influence.
You will lead on developing cases for support and writing grant applications, helped by the wider staff team.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with high levels of motivation, and the ability to both develop and operationalise strategy as a member of a small team. You will have a track record of successfully initiating, managing and developing relationships with High-Net-Worth individuals and grantmaking bodies, and securing donations and grants, via proposals or through face-to-face meetings, as required.

The Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer will be responsible for proactively securing and growing income from a large portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations, working collaboratively with funders and teams across the organisation to develop and submit compelling proposals. They are looking for someone with significant experience in successfully securing income from trusts and foundations including demonstrable experience of securing four and five figure grants. You will be experienced in managing a large portfolio of funders, with a high level of autonomy.

About the Role
A stimulating and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Practitioner Psychologist with a Forensic background. You will work alongside the Group Psychological Lead and other members of the team within our Independent Approved Premises (IAP) to deliver psychological services to residents and staff. In this role, you will apply your skills and knowledge in building new teams and expand our operational delivery within our IAP. You will play a strategic role in our organisational growth with new services, with a focus on shaping service delivery; offering specialist advice, supervising assistant psychologists and postgraduate research.
Our IAP's support people who have left prison and are based within a residential setting to reintegrate into the community. They are given support and guidance to aid their reablement, resettlement and rehabilitation post prison. Your work will enable LGBT people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of sexual abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.
You will be joining our advocacy and support team, supporting LGBT survivors across London. You will work directly with LGBT victims/survivors, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. The Housing IDVA (Multiple Compound Needs) provides specialist domestic abuse advocacy to LGBT adults (18 ) who are at high risk of harm, are experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness, and are also facing multiple compound needs that create significant barriers to safety, stability and access to services.

You will hold a high complexity caseload (approximately 15 clients) and provide time limited, consent based advocacy, typically over 3-6 months, with flexibility where risk or complexity requires longer involvement. The role will support the objectives of the Living Wage Foundation and Citizens UK by communicating our work to a wide range of audiences, including senior business leaders and politicians, through a mix of communications methods: social media, newsletters, media outlets, website and internal communications channels.
