As our new Trusts and Foundations Executive, you will join a top performing team, identify and engage with prospective donors, build long-term relationships, generate donations, coordinate events and steward our supporters. You'll manage and grow a portfolio of trust and foundation supporters and prospects, helping secure gifts between £5,000 and £50,000 to support Marie Curie's vital work.

• Build and develop relationships with grant-making trusts and foundations

Operations Manager – Responsive Repairs

The Operations Manager – Responsive Repairs is the operational lead for responsive repairs services within the Asset Delivery function and is responsible for the end-to-end delivery, performance and continuous improvement of responsive repairs across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Asset Delivery, the postholder provides operational leadership and strategic oversight of Local Space's Responsive Repairs, Voids, Legal Disrepair and Insurance, and Healthy Homes services, ensuring they are customer-focused, efficient, compliant and deliver excellent outcomes for residents.

The role is accountable for delivering high-performing repairs services that meet organisational objectives, statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements while driving value for money, service improvement and operational excellence. The postholder will lead the organisation's response to legal disrepair, insurance claims, damp and mould, and compliance with Awaab's Law, ensuring risks are effectively managed and robust assurance is provided to the Executive Management Team, Committees and Board. The role is responsible for managing and monitoring budgets across Responsive Repairs, Voids, Disrepair and Insurance, Healthy Homes, Out of Scope Works, Fencing, Tree Maintenance, Renewals and Replacements. The postholder will ensure strong financial governance, contribute to long-term financial planning and zero-based budgeting, identify cost drivers and opportunities for efficiencies, and demonstrate value for money across all areas of responsibility.

Working collaboratively across the organisation, the Operations Manager will monitor operational performance against key performance indicators, analyse service data, develop improvement plans where performance falls below target, and ensure accurate reporting to senior leaders. The Role

We are are seeking to appoint a full time Safeguarding Officer to join the team on a permanent basis, working on safeguarding, welfare and vetting cases as part of the delivery of Safe Scouting across the UK. The post is based at Gilwell Park, London.

About the Role

As Finance Officer, you will:

· Manage programme budgets, spending, and grant tracking to ensure every aspect of funding is compliant with grant conditions.

• Implement fraud controls, such as dual sign-off and audit trails, to safeguard programme funds.

• Provide independent assurance of correct grant usage within six months after the end of the financial year, helping to identify and address any issues proactively.

• Report any significant compliance concerns to the Operations Director and contribute to improving financial processes where needed.

Additionally, the post holder will have the opportunity to further develop their skills and understanding of corporate fundraising by supporting the Partnerships Team to develop and launch an exciting portfolio of corporate products and events, paying close attention to the evolving needs of partners in an ever-increasing digital environment.

You will be involved with flagship events and campaigns such as globally-recognised Baby Loss Awareness Week, award-winning Sands United Football Club, Big Give appeals and sector-leading collaborations.

You will draw upon your expertise and creativity by working on creatives and concepts with the team to increase engagement and further develop communication channels appropriate to a diverse corporate audience.

We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail, able to manage

their time effectively and ensure the highest supporter experience. The

role will also provide support to colleagues within the Income &

Engagement Department to optimise income and awareness raising

activities.

Key Responsibilities

Partnerships & Supporter Care

• Assist in maintaining relationships with new and existing partners, donors

and stakeholders.

• Provide excellent account management of Sands’ small Charity of the

Year and other corporate partners (as a guideline those giving up to

£20,000)

• Support Partnerships Team to achieve and grow overall team budget

and support wider partnership portfolio.

• Act as a key point of contact for partner enquiries and actively solicit

donations and/or partnership opportunities.

• Ensure that approaches and donations are responded to, and thanked,

in a timely manner.

• Support delivery of corporate-specific appeals, campaigns and events.

• Deliver well managed and well-developed partnership stewardship and

communications.

• Act as a champion to inspire and motivate supporters to fundraise and

raise awareness of Sands, and attend meetings and presentations as

required.

• Collate and provide engaging and dynamic partnership content for

supporter resources, newsletters and mailings.

• Maintain ongoing communications by telephone and email, building

relationships with fundraisers and potential donors, ensuring each

individual is appropriately stewarded to maximise supporter experience.

• Maintain appropriate contracts or letters of agreements for donors and

partners as required.

• Support the Partnerships Team in the management of other partnerships

through specific initiatives, such as events support and employee

volunteering as required.

• Undertake due diligence in line with Sands’ Ethical Policy and robust

vetting criteria.

• Work closely with colleagues to ensure Supporter Care work is kept up to

date and that the service we offer is the best it can be. Administrative and

Database Management

• Support the Partnerships Team to maintain accurate records and timely

reports in the charity CRM and shared drive, in compliance with data

protection legislation and best practice.

• Work closely with project and finance teams to gather information,

maintain high standards of accuracy at all times to ensure partnerships

and finance data management including tracking and invoicing.

• Effectively monitor partnership activity and finances, ensuring accurate

gift processing and support the Strategic Partnerships Manager with

timely income, expenditure and quarterly KPI reports.

• Assist in partnership activities, deliverables, and ensuring internal and

external deadlines are met.

• Support the Partnerships Team’s communication and engagement plans,

collating dynamic social media content and scheduling, and supporting

cross-team projects like case study work, campaign activity and new

corporate fundraising products.

• Assist in partnership volunteering, events, meetings and workshop

coordination. Including logistical support such as venue bookings,

attendance tracking and evaluations.

Cross-team working

• Contribute to the wider team’s efforts in fundraising, marketing and

project coordination.

• Work closely with all colleagues in the Income & Engagement

Department to seize cross team opportunities to increase income and

awareness and to develop appropriate products and engagement tools.

• Liaise with other Sands internal teams as necessary in the preparation of

proposals, meetings, reports and communications to companies.

• Provide support to fundraising colleagues when needed to maintain

excellent supporter care.

General

• To undertake other duties as required by the Head of Partnerships and

Philanthropy, Strategic Partnerships Manager, Business Development

Lead, and Director of Income & Engagement.

  Role Overview

The Governance Administration Officer will be an integral member of the Trust’s Governance and Administration Team, supporting the Governance & Compliance Manager to ensure the effective and efficient administration of governance and compliance activities of the Trust as well as providing administration support to the wider team alongside other administration staff.

Primary Responsibilities

 Governance

1. Provide administrative support to enable effective management of The Road Safety Trust’s Governance and Compliance activities.

2. Support co-ordination of RST Board and Committees. This may include timely preparing meeting packs, taking minutes, following up actions and organising logistics for virtual and physical meetings.

3. Maintain accurate Governance and Compliance registers e.g. conflicts of interest, skills matrices, Terms of Office records and end of year governance documents, ensuring accuracy and validity of information.

4. To ensure documentation in relation to RST Trustees is maintained appropriately.

5. Support Trustee recruitment and induction, coordinate Trustee training, and regulatory reporting.

6. Co-ordinate and monitor Policies and Procedures reviews and maintain the Policies register.

7. Provide support for the internal audit programme, coordinating audit meetings, compiling  documentation and assisting with actions and reports.

8. Support risk management information, including risk registers other compliance activities.

9. Provide support for Board and Committee reports and dashboards to demonstrate progress against key actions and service delivery at RST.

10. Support the preparation of the annual report and organisation of the AGM.

Administration

11. Use Microsoft Office, HR, Finance Systems to ensure RST policies and processes are adhered to.

12. Ensure the provision of information in the relevant sections of SharePoint for easy access by staff as required.

13. Contribute to the organisation of events, workshops and conferences as required.

14. To support the finance function of the Trust as appropriate.

15. Identify and contribute to improvement of processes and procedures.
