We are recruiting for a temporary community fundraising officer for a childrens hospice, this role is 28 hours a week. You will support and inspire groups, schools, faith organisations, and local businesses to fundraise for the hospice, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and connected to the difference they are making. This is a varied, people-focused role suited to someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and passionate about making a positive impact.

The Role
To act as the first point of contact for our community fundraisers. This includes but is not limited to, recruiting community supporters, responding to enquiries and providing support and advice in relation to supporting the hospice.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with community groups, schools, clubs and local businesses.
Identify and develop new community fundraising opportunities within the hospice catchment area.
To utilise Raisers Edge database to record and track donor interactions.
Organise and deliver, if applicable, presentations and meetings to promote the hospices mission and opportunities for collaboration.
Attend community events, cheque presentations and fundraising activities as a representative of the hospice.
Monitor and report on outreach activity, fundraising income and engagement.
The Candidate
Knowledge and understanding of fundraising
Knowledge and understanding of the importance of building relationships with supporters
High standard of interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
Confident in public speaking and able to present to an audience
Experience in community fundraising or relationship-building roles

The Role
Source headline sponsorships for events and community programmes.
Identify, research and approach potential corporate prospects aligned with charitys mission and values including paid partnerships and in kind support.
Manage the delivery of partnership agreements, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and ensuring all partners receive the appropriate level of stewardship and recognition.
Act as the main point of contact for existing corporate partners
Coordinate and manage corporate partner events/hospitality.
The Candidate
Experience in corporate partnerships and sponsorships, ideally within the arts, culture, or non-profit sectors.
Ability to create new leads and contacts with a creative approach to business income generation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative but independent environment
Strong relationship-building and networking skills with the ability to engage with senior executives and provide high levels of customer care.

About the role
Our Social Prescribing service supports patients referred by GP practices across Central Islington. Working within a fast, paced, person-centred environment, Social Prescribing Link Workers support individuals to identify what matters most to them and connects with community services, activities and support that improves their well-being and addresses the wider determinants of health.
The service benefits from close collaboration with our Connect service and access to over 120 referral partners, offering a diverse range of opportunities to support residents’ health, wellbeing and independence.

What You’ll Be Doing
As part of a dedicated team of four Social Prescribing Link Workers, seven Connect service colleagues and external partners working in primary care teams, you will:
· Work with patients referred by GP practices to provide personalised, strengths based support
· Build trusted relationships and support individuals to overcome, social, practical and emotional barriers
· Support people to access community-based services, activities and networks
· Manage a varied caseload, maintaining accurate and timely records
· Work collaboratively with GP practices, primary care teams, colleagues and external partners

The Campaigns Lead is responsible for creating and coordinating health campaigns across BHA.The role will support all our projects, and our core team, with their campaign work, collecting meaningful data about the work of BHA, raising the profile of these issues and ensuring that the voices of our service users are heard far and wide.
The successful applicant should bring a proven track record in developing and delivering health awareness campaigns or public health communications. You should have strong experience creating engaging content for digital platforms and social media, and a commitment to working with marginalised communities, particularly Ethnic Minority communities and LGBTQ+ people.
We are looking for someone who can use data and evaluation to measure effectiveness, and who has experience of stakeholder engagement and partnership working in the VCSE sector.The post holder will have the following essential criteria:
