The Role
As Wellbeing Services Manager, you will provide day-to-day support to a growing team of independent, contracted counsellors. Working closely with the Wellbeing Director, you will contribute to governance, protocol development, administrative coordination, and quality assurance across the service.
This is a role for someone who combines experience in therapeutic pathways and counselling governance and processes, with the leadership skills and technological confidence needed to thrive in a fast-moving, fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Counselling practice
Act as the primary internal escalation point for risk and safeguarding.
Triage high-risk and complex cases and refer them to the counsellor best placed to support the client.
Apply trauma-informed, gender-affirming approaches across all areas of practice.
Team support & development
Provide day-to-day management and operational oversight of the counselling team, ensuring consistent standards of service delivery across the caseload.
Coordinate admin support for counsellors.
Coordinate scheduling and mentoring support for counsellors.
Contribute to the onboarding and initial suitability review of new counsellors joining the Anne Health register.
Support the Wellbeing Director in building a high-performing, resilient service culture.

Person Specification
Qualifications & professional membership
Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (completed); higher qualifications welcomed.
Full BACP membership, or the UK equivalent professional body registration.
Experience
Experience managing a team of counsellors, including providing internal oversight of service delivery, distinct from the formal clinical supervision counsellors hold independently as a condition of their professional registration.
Significant, demonstrable experience in transgender and gender-affirming healthcare at a senior level.
Proven ability to manage risk, safeguarding, and ethically complex presentations.
Experience in a mentoring or counselling lead capacity.
Familiarity with the unique needs of trans+ and gender-diverse people across a range of presentations.

The Southmead Project is seeking an experienced and motivated Fundraiser to support the charity’s long-term financial sustainability.

Role Overview
The Governance Administration Officer will be an integral member of the Trust’s Governance and Administration Team, supporting the Governance & Compliance Manager to ensure the effective and efficient administration of governance and compliance activities of the Trust as well as providing administration support to the wider team alongside other administration staff.
Primary Responsibilities
Governance

About this role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Philanthropy Assistant to join the Charity team here at Alder Hey, the UK’s busiest Children’s Hospital.
The postholder will work closely with the Philanthropy Support Lead to provide operational support and administration for the team, including events, donor meetings and visits, mailings, prospect research, data and use of the charity CRM (Salesforce).
We’re looking for a flexible team player with previous administration experience. You’ll also be self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented and great at building relationships. If you’re excited by the sound of this, we’d love to hear from you!

The Role
You will lead the development and delivery of City in the Community's fundraising strategy, creating sustainable income streams that support the charity's long-term ambitions. Working across a portfolio of fundraising products, supporter engagement, donor stewardship and events, you will identify opportunities to grow income while building lasting relationships with stakeholders.
Day to day, you will oversee fundraising products including the Matchday Lottery, subscription model and auctions, monitor fundraising performance against budgets and targets, and use insight to inform future planning. You will also lead the planning and delivery of fundraising events, ensuring they provide an outstanding supporter experience while generating vital income for the charity.
Alongside fundraising activity, you will work collaboratively across Manchester City and City in the Community to maximise fundraising opportunities, strengthen supporter engagement and develop relationships with fan groups, local businesses and high-net-worth individuals. You will also line manage the Fundraising and Events Officer, helping to create a collaborative, high-performing team while embedding safeguarding and organisational policies throughout all activities.

Main Purposes of the Post
