This role represents a significant investment in that infrastructure. You will be joining a small but highly capable operations team and playing a central role in how FEA manages and understands its finances as it grows. The Management Accountant plays a central role in ensuring that the Fair Education Alliance’s finances are accurate, well managed and clearly understood across the organisation. Working as part of the operations team, the postholder maintains the financial systems and processes that underpin FEA’s work. This includes overseeing day-to-day finance operations, producing reliable management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring that financial records meet charity accounting and regulatory requirements.
The Management Accountant also acts as a trusted financial partner to colleagues across the organisation. By providing clear, accessible financial information and helping budget holders understand their resources, the role enables confident decision-making by the senior leadership team and trustees. Through careful financial stewardship, strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement, the Management Accountant helps ensure that FEA remains financially resilient and able to deliver its mission to create a fairer education system.

The Operations Officer plays a central role in ensuring that the Fair Education Alliance runs smoothly, efficiently and to a high standard across all aspects of its work. This includes supporting people operations and HR administration, coordinating governance processes, managing organisational systems and IT access, and delivering high-quality logistics for events and organisational activities.

Role purpose
The purpose of this role is to support the National Programme Team with the implementation of operational plans that deliver successful national skills competitions. This will include supporting the activities and actions relating to the national programme cycle, projects across diversity and inclusion and transfer of global standards to maximise local and national activity in the UK.
Key tasks and responsibilities
· To contribute to the successful delivery of WorldSkills UK’s strategic priorities and annual business objectives.
· To support skills competitions that raise standards of teaching and learning and serve as a key vehicle for practitioner development across the vocational education and training sector and the workplace, including Apprenticeship/Traineeships.
· To co-ordinate activities relating to requesting, tracking and quality assuring key documents required from our Competition Organising Partners (COPs), ensuring documents are received within set deadlines.
· To co-ordinate and support the planning and event delivery of national skills competition activity across the UK, including booking travel, venues, accommodation and catering.
· To administer and co-ordinate the local and national projects i.e. Competitor Support Fund, and Evaluations.
· To administer and co-ordinate project plans, reporting, finance, systems, processes (i.e. Quality Assurance) and document management.
· To support improved engagement in skills competitions by all Stakeholder groups and audiences.
· To support the organisation by producing reports and data requests using the organisational database and systems.
· To support the National Competitions Delivery Managers in the organisation of skills competitions, to include administration and research of new skills competitions.
· To co-ordinate and provide support on the implementation of the quality assurance process and ensure that accurate information is recorded at the bi-annual reviews with the COPs.
· To support the recruitment and briefing of volunteers as required for the national competition cycle.
· To organise and support communication with competitors, their organisations and COPs through monitoring the Competitions email inbox, allocating queries to team members and responding to requests for information and providing support to the team in answering queries from staff, external stakeholders and suppliers.
· To maintain and update competition management systems, records and files, handling confidential information in compliance with the organisations procedures.
· To effectively co-ordinate resources (including agencies, suppliers, contractors) so that all project elements are delivered to acceptable standards on time, to budget and meet the required specification(s)/objective(s) and assisting the team with financial processes such as raising purchase orders.

Role purpose
The Senior Delivery Manager plays a key role in leading high-quality operational delivery across WorldSkills UK’s workforce development products and services. The postholder will be responsible for contract, project and performance management, ensuring all programmes are delivered efficiently, consistently and to a high standard. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, this role leads operational systems, processes and delivery management to support effective provision for further and higher education and the skills system, raising standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
Key tasks and responsibilities
The postholder will be accountable for ensuring that workforce development programmes and services are delivered efficiently, compliantly and to a high standard, with strong operational oversight and continuous improvement.
Contract and project management
· Lead contract and relationship management with key grant funders, ensuring compliance with funding agreements and timely resolution of delivery issues.
· Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including regular performance updates and financial summaries, to support effective oversight and decision making.
· Maintain strong operational governance by identifying, managing and mitigating risks, and escalating issues appropriately.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will include:
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- In-depth Financial Analysis
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to assess business performance against targets and trends.
- Perform analysis to guide strategic decisions.
- Analyse margin performance, cost drivers, and overheads, recommending opportunities for efficiency and savings.
- Produce and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports submitted to stakeholders

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development to remain current with UK financial regulations and best practices.
- A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a finance role, ideally with exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience in a commercial or multi-site operational environment is advantageous.
- Demonstrable experience working with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent ERP solutions for financial reporting and analysis.

Your new role
- Partner with senior HR leaders, change leads and faculty/department heads to design and implement people-focused change interventions.
- Lead on end-to-end organisational change activities, including consultation planning, restructuring, selection processes, and redundancy management.
- Develop and deliver change plans, impact assessments, communications, and engagement strategies aligned to university policies and employment legislation.

Essential Experience & Skills
- Extensive experience as an HR Change Consultant, HR Business Partner, or similar HR role delivering large-scale organisational change.
- Strong background working within unionised environments, with proven ability to navigate complex industrial relations.

Sophie Hayes Foundation is a small but mighty charity supporting women survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking as they rebuild their independent lives, free from re exploitation for the long-term.
We provide an employability programme which enables survivors to rediscover their skills, build their confidence and sense of purpose, develop workplace skills, and open up opportunities for work placements or volunteering. We also offer a conversational English course, a digital skills programme, and run a survivor network CREW (Creative Resilient Empowered Women).
We do all we can to meet survivors where they are in a complex system, flexing and adapting to need as it arises. We also do not accept a system which fails survivors, leaving them at risk of re-exploitation, and engage in policy and advocacy campaigns based on our lived and learnt experience.

We can’t do any of this work without brilliant and concerted fundraising efforts. SHF is independent and relies on funds from grant-making bodies, individuals, and businesses in our supporter community.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is passionate about social mobility, and looking to gain exposure to various aspects of charity management whilst working with university students who are exploring their career options. upReach’s Future Charity Leaders Programme (FCLP) combines delivery work (supporting our Associates) with exposure to a range of aspects of charity management.
As a Programme Coordinator on the FCLP, you will deliver personalised, employment-focused support to a cohort of approximately 80 Associates, helping to transform their lives by equipping them with the necessary skills to secure a top graduate job. About the role
The Senior Business & Resource Planning Manager is a role within Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement, acting as a strategic partner to colleagues and driving key processes and activity in areas such as planning, reporting, project management and operational improvements.
The postholder will support on operationalising plans and lead on the in-year tracking and management of budgets across P&A, and play a key role in supporting the P&A Leadership Team (LT) in making informed decisions relating to the resourcing of staffing and activity.
This role will also lead and coordinate on key aspects of reporting including internal quarterly reviews and also key accountability sessions for P&A with University leadership. Alongside this, they will lead on strategic projects that align and have been identified as being important to progress P&A and wider institutional goals.
The role is based within the Advancement Operations section of P&A and will be part of the section leadership team. The postholder will be closely involved in taking forward projects to review and enhance processes to drive improvements and streamlining across Advancement Operations. This area of activity will also link to the postholder’s focus on supporting the Director of Advancement Operations in delivering their agenda.
This is a full time (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.
About You

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The central focus of your role will be fundraising from trusts and foundations and individual donors. Job Purpose
· To lead and shape School Food Matters’ policy and advocacy strategy, ensuring our voice influences national and local decision-making on school food and food education

Key Tasks
· Lead and provide strategic input to campaigns, convene groups and partnerships

We are looking for an International Engagement Manager to join our team to refine and expand a bold and innovative alumni volunteering programme to support both the priorities of the University and the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO). The post holder will deliver volunteer and engagement opportunities in key markets including China, India, Hong Kong, USA, Dubai, and many others, and will join nine other volunteering professionals as part of the wider team. The role will be responsible for developing a range of volunteering opportunities for international alumni, which support Birmingham 2030 targets around graduate employability, student recruitment, student experience, research and influence. You will be responsible for growing the number of international alumni volunteers and reporting on the impact of your work internally.
A key component of this role will be developing relationships with colleagues across the University to include alumni engagement and volunteering across the University’s international strategic themes. The International Engagement Manager role will be a point of contact for international matters into the Development and Alumni Relations Department amongst other University departments, including International Student Recruitment, Birmingham Global and Careers Network.
