About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑driven Careers and Workforce Coordinator to join our Faculties Team, supporting both the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FICM) and the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FPM).

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to workforce planning, recruitment, quality management and practitioner development, areas that directly influence clinical practice and patient care across the UK.

In this role, you will act as the administrative lead for all matters relating to workforce, recruitment, careers and practitioner support. You will also play a key part in coordinating quality workstreams across both Faculties.

Your work will range from data analysis and resource development to stakeholder engagement and committee support, offering variety, responsibility and the chance to work within a collaborative and supportive team.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading workforce‑related projects and responding to queries across both Faculties
• Managing workforce censuses and surveys, including data preparation, analysis support and reporting
• Supporting regional workforce engagement events and producing follow‑up reports
• Coordinating recruitment workstreams, including drafting person specifications, managing website content and organising Interviewers’ Training Days
• Ensuring workforce developments are clearly and accurately communicated
• Leading on matters relating to Advanced Critical Care Practitioners (ACCPs), including curriculum support and Higher Education Institution (HEI) accreditation
• Serving as secretary to committees and working groups, including preparing agendas, drafting papers, providing advice, taking minutes and tracking actions

About You

You will be an organised and detail‑focused administrator with experience managing varied workloads under pressure. You will have strong experience in committee administration, including accurate minute taking, and will be confident producing high‑quality written and database work.

You will also bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong IT proficiency (Word, Outlook and Excel), and the ability to interpret and simplify complex information. Experience within a membership organisation or medical education environment is desirable.

About the role 

We are looking for someone who wants to start or develop their career in marketing and digital communications and is interested in social media, email marketing and supporting bold comms campaigns. You bring experience identifying and cultivating new funders, and maximising funding opportunities through proactive, relationship-led fundraising. You’re confident developing persuasive proposals and written communications, clearly and succinctly conveying complex information (experience within medical research is desirable but not essential). 

Your outstanding communication skills enable you to engage confidently and credibly with senior stakeholders, building lasting relationships built on trust and professionalism. 

Highly organised and collaborative, you have strong planning skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You’re also proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (such as Blackbaud CRM, Raiser’s Edge, or similar platforms).

Acorns Children’s Hospice provides specialist care and support for babies, children and young people who are life limited or life threatened. Supporting over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families annually, Acorns is a vital lifeline for families across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire during unimaginably difficult times.

Over the past three years, Acorns’ leadership has enhanced collaboration and innovation across the charity and embedded an organisation-wide fundraising culture.

• Oversee key accounts worth circa £1m across the team, seeking opportunities to uplift/evolve, whilst delivering exceptional donor experience for SME, community group, and association partners

About you

Essential skills and experience: 

• Proven experience of growing income through regional community engagement, ideally within a charity setting
• Either line management or substantial coaching/mentoring experience
• Experience of working with community leaders
• Experience and evidence of first-class relationship management techniques and donor care
• Experience of organising events, managing volunteers, risk assessments and health and safety requirements
• Track record of cross-team working with examples of impact, ideally this will include collaborating with corporate partnerships teams

About the Project

PKD Scotland: Outreach and Community Connections Project. 

It is estimated that around 5,000 people in Scotland could be living with Polycystic Kidney 
Disease. It is however often poorly understood and historically underfunded, meaning people 
can leave clinic after diagnosis with little support beyond medical appointments. Many tell us 
they don't know where to turn for emotional support or to meet others living with the same 
condition. We want to change that and with support from a National lottery Awards for All grant 
that is exactly what we are going to do. 

The eighteen-month project will see us reach into hospitals across Scotland to try and ensure 
that no one with PKD in Scotland has to manage their journey on their own. From diagnosis 
onwards we want all to be aware of the charity, the array of services that we offer and foster 
engagement. Two new volunteer led support groups will be established and a group of 
ambassadors recruited to support the ongoing connections we make to ensure that PKD 
remains in the spotlight. 

As our Scotland PKD Engagement Officer you will be central to the success of the project. 
Many people only reach us years after diagnosis, often when symptoms worsen, but we know 
that early connection can make a real difference. PKD is lifelong and people face new 
challenges at every stage. Having support around them helps them stay confident, informed

About The Role

 
As PKD’s Scotland Engagement Officer, you will play a central role in delivering this ambitious 
outreach project. 

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will raise awareness of the PKD Charity and its services, 
ensuring that people diagnosed with PKD are informed about available support from the earliest 
possible stage.

You will build and nurture relationships with NHS professionals and services across Scotland, 
helping embed PKD Charity information and resources into patient pathways. Alongside this, you 
will work closely with volunteers to establish two new PKD support groups and develop an 
ambassador programme to maintain long-term local engagement and visibility.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident relationship-builder who enjoys working 
autonomously while contributing to a small and dedicated team. Your work will help ensure that 
people living with PKD across Scotland feel informed, connected and supported throughout every

Your Role in Our Vision 

We’re seeking an ambitious and experienced Corporate Partnership Manager with a proven track record of growing and managing high value partnerships that exceed income targets and deliver meaningful societal change. This is a rare opportunity to work on our national partnership with Morrisons, worth approximately £5 million per year, and play a central role in one of the UK charity sector’s most significant retail collaborations. 

You will drive income, engagement and impact across hundreds of Morrisons stores and sites, working closely with colleagues, suppliers and community teams to deliver a diverse programme of fundraising, commercial activity and awareness raising initiatives. You will also support the Senior Partnership Lead and Morrisons Partnership Lead in delivering our Morrisons partnership strategy. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Providing exceptional account management to ensure the partnership meets agreed income targets, KPIs and objectives at an appropriate cost to income ratio. 
• Leading and developing key project areas within the partnership, ensuring opportunities are maximised and activity is delivered to a high standard. 
• Planning and delivering bespoke fundraising challenges and events, collaborating with third party suppliers where needed. 
• Supporting the delivery and growth of cause related marketing campaigns, managing contracts, invoicing and stewardship of Morrisons suppliers. 
• Ensuring timely monitoring, evaluation and reporting on partnership performance and impact. 
• Identifying strategic opportunities within Morrisons that support partnership goals, business objectives and Marie Curie’s mission. 
• Preparing Commercial Participators Agreements (CPAs) and ensuring all commercial activity is compliant and delivered to agreed timelines. 
• Achieving and exceeding financial targets, ensuring all income and expenditure is accurately recorded and reflected in budgets. 
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and company information. 
• Producing detailed income reports, financial analysis and quarterly projections for senior leadership. 

What You’ll Need 

• Proven track record in partnership management within a corporate-charity partnership setting or commercial setting 
• Success in pitching and retaining existing partners from proposal development to employee vote strategies.  
• Experience of meeting and exceeding income targets.  
• Experience of identifying, prospecting, and securing income opportunities with corporate partners.  
• Strong knowledge of corporate charity landscape, key sector and partnership trends, commercial insight, and awareness.  
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.  
• Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate with a wide range of audiences at all levels.  
• A creative thinker with an eye for detail who can come up with innovative ideas for company approaches, fundraising, communication, and stewardship campaigns.

Children and Young People's Lead

Location: Hybrid

Salary: FTE £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (£14.84 to £16.48 per hour)

Role Status: 28 (Part-Time) to 35 (Full-Time) hours per week

We are looking for a committed Children and Young People’s Lead to deliver our UK wide programme of support and positive activities for young people aged 11 – 25 who have been impacted by meningitis, including the current Believe and Achieve programme, and to support new developments within our work.

About the Job

This role supports young people who have experienced meningitis to overcome barriers, build confidence, and access opportunities, activities and supportive connections.

Our Believe and Achieve (B&A) Programme makes a meaningful difference to young people’s lives every day, helping them face the future with hope and confidence.

Events and Communications:

• Plan and deliver a range of face to face and online events that help young people feel part of a supportive community.
• Identify opportunities for young people to participate in lived experience panels, peer mentoring, volunteering and storytelling.
• Monitor regional and events expenditure in line with budgets.
• Contribute to social media, marketing and communications content.
• Ensure the voices of children and young people inform service development, delivery and review.

Support:

• Engage and onboard young people aged 11 – 25 into support services.
• Deliver support via face-to-face, phone, email and digital channels to assess and meet individual needs across the UK.
• Hold sensitive or difficult conversations with people affected by meningitis.
• Work with colleagues across the organisation to deliver coordinated support to families and individuals.
• Signpost and refer individuals to external services and support their access where appropriate.

• Provide meningitis related information to professionals, families, friends and workplaces to help them support individuals.

Administration:

• Maintain accurate records and store sensitive information securely, in accordance with procedures and policies.

This pivotal position involves leading a dynamic fundraising team, nurturing major donor relationships, and overseeing income streams to ensure continued growth. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of four fundraising professionals, overseeing their work and development.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with major donors, securing gifts ranging from a few thousand to £300,000 annually.
