Purpose
This is a vital role sitting as part of the Senior leadership team at Hope and contributing to the future sustainability and development of Hope.
The purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of Income Generation and manage the commissioned projects which Hope run.
Developing a long term sustainable income generation portfolio you will have responsibility for your own income generation and manage the fundraising team to deliver their financial targets, motivating and monitoring them to achieve success.
Our current income generation activity currently generates around £1.2million per annum and it is the post holders responsibility to grow this income to achieve £1.5million per annum in the next 5 years to ensure Hope can achieve it’s newly launched Operational Strategy.
There is also a likely a facility move in the future, where the Head of Development would need to access funds, in addition to operational budget, for a facility transformation project.
As Line Manager for Hope’s commissioned projects you will have overall responsibility to deliver on the contracts for which we have been commissioned and identify growth potential for the organisation.
Responsibilities
- To Manage all aspects of income generation at Hope.
- To deliver a diverse fundraising portfolio to ensure long-term sustainability.
- To lead a small team of fundraisers and work with the Marketing Manager to achieve income levels as determined by the CEO and Board of trustees.
- To Line Manage and lead on all commissioned work, people recruited and project management.
- To be responsible for all reporting related to grants, trusts and/commissioned work.
- To be part of both Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Senior Management Team (SMT), helping set the strategic direction for the organisation and ensuring it is implemented effectively.
Leadership:
- To develop and deliver a Fundraising Strategy and associated annual Fundraising Plans to achieve income levels that enable Hope to fulfil its Strategic Framework priorities 2024-2029.
- To work with CEO and our new ‘finance sub-group’ to develop and oversee our budget and forecasting process, agreeing targets, providing realistic profiles, understanding the seasonality of income, and highlighting risks.
- Identify new opportunities for income generation and deliver an agile approach to trends in fundraising and changes in society giving.
- Lead the commissioned program teams to achieve the desired outcomes.
Management:
- Lead a small team of dedicated Fundraising Senior Coordinators to access funds to ensure the ongoing delivery of Hopes Homeless, Hunger and Hardship priorities.
- To manage 1:1 meeting, annual appraisals.
- To manage all posts associated with commissioned project’s sitting outside our core objectives,
- To ensure that the values of Hope are embedded across all the work we do.
- To engage and maintain relationships with volunteers to support and enhance the work of the fundraising team.
Partnerships:
- To be an ambassador for Hope in the community, showcasing the work we do across Northamptonshire to facilitate fundraising opportunities to fulfil your personal fundraising objectives and those of the wider team.
- To build relationships with:
o Trusts.
o Grant providers.
o Major donors.
o Corporate partners
o Public with a focus on regular donations
o Churches and other community groups including schools.
- To build and maintain relationship with WNC and NNC, especially the Public Health Teams and Councillors, to maintains Hopes positive relationship, so that we can continue to be a trusted partner and access commissioned contracts to enhance our core offer.
Fundraising
- Work closely with Marketing Manager to ensure a clear public donation pathway exists linking to website, social media, events promotion, and any other marketing- tracking success of each communication approach at increasing income.
- To manage all grants and trusts contracts from application to reporting and ongoing engagements.
- Lead on major donor, VIP and legacy events to ensure further income opportunities.
- To manage all commissioned projects from application, to oversight of project delivery, including management of posts recruited to reporting and ongoing engagement.
- Lead any future capital fundraising appeals for new of existing facilities.
General:
- To be an active and effective member of the Senior Leadership team and ambassador for the work of the organisation, our strategic framework 2024-2029 and our values in all you do.
- To work some hours outside of normal office hours (including evenings and weekends).

Bike rides, Sponsored runs, sponsored abseiling, charity balls etc) when comparing to running the portfolio of events in-house for just Hope”

About the role
The Corporate Partnerships Manager role is responsible for delivery across the breadth of the partnerships pipeline. An estimated 50% of the role will be devoted to new business development, including prospect identification, and shaping and delivering pitches and proposals to corporates and their foundations to meet fundraising targets. The remaining 50% of partnership work will be dedicated to delivering an excellent standard of partnership management to several longstanding existing supporters, working creatively to identify and develop opportunities to maximise their impact.
As our corporate supporters can be powerful partners in the delivery of our advocacy and communications goals you will be confident working with colleagues internally to translate campaign plans into engagement opportunities for private sector partners. You will also be able to co-ordinate colleagues to meet new business deadlines and to ensure agreed partnership deliverables are achieved.
This role sits within our Philanthropy and Partnerships team of five, who focus on income generation through grants, philanthropy, corporate partnerships and individual giving and fundraising. The post holder will work particularly closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, as well as equipping Directors and our CEO to engage corporate partners and prospects where appropriate. As a member of a comparatively small, highly ambitious team, there may, with time, be opportunities for the post holder to extend their experience beyond corporate partnerships, into other fundraising areas, should your skill set meet an identified need.
About you
You may be an established corporate fundraiser seeking a role where you can take on greater responsibility for managing your own pipeline of prospects and key partnerships. Equally you may come from outside the sector and be able to offer clearly transferable experience of securing and developing partnerships (especially those with a “purpose” focus).
Whatever your background you will be a self-starter who is highly motivated and excited by the opportunity to think creatively about corporate partnerships that can enable Malaria No More UK’s unique advocacy and campaigning offer, with a clear goal to ending one of the world’s most significant and oldest killer diseases.

About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Reprieve team as our Head of Digital and Mass Engagement covering parental leave. With the support of the Deputy Director of Development, you will lead our fast‐moving and creative Mass Engagement Team, who power fundraising across multiple channels. Location: Remote first with an office available in Central London and regular team meetings in the office.

Full Fact, the independent fact checking charity, is seeking an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser to grow their impact and safeguard their independence by overseeing and developing their trust fundraising programme.
Full Fact is a team of independent fact checkers and campaigners who find, expose and counter the harm it does – a team which has seen firsthand how bad information promotes hate, damages people’s health and hurts democracy. Full Fact fights for the right information to reach the people who need it most, whether that’s individuals making decisions about their health or who to vote for; or politicians debating the future of our country.
This role will manage, develop and grow the charity’s portfolio of trusts and foundation donors, as well as leading and delivering Full Fact’s trust fundraising strategy, identifying and building relationships with new prospects who have the capacity to support at 5/6-figure level. The post-holder will work closely with the senior leadership and trustees to maximise network opportunities and will support the organisation in diversifying its donor base, gaining long term/multi-year support and ensuring balance/political neutrality within the funding portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of securing funds from charitable trusts and foundations, grant making organisations and family foundations at a 5-figure + level. You will be a relationships-first fundraiser, keen to develop relationships at a strategic level with senior representatives from grant-making organisations and will have expertise/knowledge of maximising opportunities via senior stakeholders. EIA protects our planet by investigating and campaigning against environmental crime and abuse. Their focus is to protect wildlife, forests, oceans, and climate.
Through undercover work, research, and documentation, the EIA exposes criminal activities and works to bring those responsible to justice.
The Philanthropy Manager will lead on the development and delivery of a new philanthropy programme, which will include developing tailored stewardship programmes for HNWIs, expanding the donor base through effective prospecting and cultivation, working with campaign teams to develop donor funding propositions and embedding effective systems to process and support growth in philanthropy.
As Philanthropy Manager, you will:
- Develop a tailored stewardship programme for 5 and 6-figure level donors
- Work with campaign teams and the wider fundraising team to develop funding propositions for HNWI and a Case for Support for the different areas of EIA’s work
- Work with the support of the Head of Fundraising, embed effective systems and processes to support the growth in philanthropy
- Conduct regular prospecting and cultivation to identify new potential supporters
Ideal skills and experience:
- Significant experience of identifying and cultivating relationships with high value supporters and securing significant gifts
- Considerable experience of developing and communicating high value funding propositions and writing compelling cases for support and applications
- Strong verbal communication skills, confident in communicating effectively and passionately with supporters, team members across EIA and senior stakeholders
- Commitment to the EIA values, work and support of wildlife trade and environmental issues

About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a lively, dynamic and driven fundraising events team. Over the last decade, Breast Cancer Now has built up a strong events function community fundraising and events currently accounting for nearly a quarter of the charity’s overall voluntary income.

The Role
Seeking out all the information you need to be the go-to person for customer care and queries, being constantly curious about whats happening at the charity and how this can enhance customer communications and experience.
Providing excellent warm, friendly customer service by ensuring prompt, efficient and accurate processing of post, donations and other administration. You will be one of the first points of contact for all fundraising admin queries which may include database queries, supporter communications and amending supporters records.
Supporting other activities in the fundraising team when needed, sending out materials to fundraisers and supporting logistics, diary management and organising meetings when needed.
Ensuring income is allocated correct from third party platforms and working closely with the Finance Team to ensure that we can report fundraising results and forecast accurately and in a timely way.
As part of a small team, taking responsibility for identifying where your support is most needed through busy times, juggling different priorities to work effectively and efficiently under your own steam.
The Candidate

Key Roles and Duties
In this exciting role you will be responsible for raising unrestricted income from individuals by planning and executing the day-to-day campaigns to recruit, engage and retain supporters through a range of channels.

Strategic Planning and Implementation
Plan, lead, implement, and evaluate strategies to:

Donor Data Analysis and Segmentation

Stewardship and Donor Engagement
Manage donor stewardship to provide personalised and engaging communications, including:

- Ensure all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s CRM system.
- Maximise gift aid opportunities.
Campaign and Material Management
Work closely with the Communications Manager to:
- Create campaigns.
- Generate publicity opportunities e.g. radio, newspaper, online etc.
- Engage ambassadors and campaign specific ambassadors.
- Collect and draft beautiful stories, testimonies and case studies that engage supporters.
- Manage the production of supporter materials.
- Assist in developing Mailchimp email marketing and analyse and evaluate user journeys to maximise impact.
Innovation and Market Trends
Lead the charge in:
- Coming up with new ideas and initiatives to bolster individual giving.
- Managing a continuous cycle of testing for new channels and techniques for acquisition and retention, based on audience insight and sector trends.

Role Requirements
We are looking for the right person to join the team – this could be someone with experience or someone who is willing to learn and has a strong transferrable skill set.
You will have:
- Effective campaign copy writing and ability to translate ideas into design briefs.
- A minimum level of skill in graphic design (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Canva).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with diverse audiences in friendly and welcoming way in keeping with WONDER’s approach to empowerment.
