About the role
The Community Fundraising Team at Parkinson’s UK is dedicated to supporting thousands of individuals, groups and local businesses to fundraise across the UK.
As a Community Fundraiser, you’ll play a key role in strengthening these connections, identifying and cultivating new local partnership opportunities, generating leads and inspiring others to fundraise for people living with Parkinson’s.
What you’ll do:
Develop and deliver ambitious local fundraising plans and budgets to maximise local support, provide exceptional stewardship and achieve financial targets in line with the community fundraising strategy.
Proactively identify and build partnerships with local companies, networks and community organisations to grow and build a sustainable pipeline.
Actively support, motivate and manage a portfolio of individual supporters to fundraise for Parkinson’s UK, ensuring opportunities realise their full potential and key supporters are retained.
Lead on the development and delivery of a portfolio of fundraising activities such as local delivery of the Walk for Parkinson’s event series.
Lead in developing all streams of local fundraising in allocated areas, including community support, local corporate activity and collaborating with central teams.
Collaborate with your local Community team to promote best practice and encourage the sharing of ideas.
What you’ll bring:
Demonstrable experience of general fundraising principles of the following fundraising disciplines: community, corporate and events.
Experience of identifying and managing successful community and corporate partnerships to achieve agreed income and long term engagement.
Experience of setting and effectively managing budgets to achieve agreed targets.

We are The Bike Project, a charity that collects second-hand bikes, refurbishes them and donates them to refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK. About The Bike Project
The Bike Project is an award-winning charity which refurbishes second hand bikes and donates them to refugees. We were founded in 2013 by, Jem Stein, after he struck up a friendship and found a bike for Adam, a Darfuri refugee who had fled his home in Sudan after war broke out.
The Bike Project has grown into a national operation with new CEO, hundreds of volunteers, a team of committed staff, an online bike shop and two workshops, one in London and one in Birmingham.
To date we have supported over 15,000 refugees and people seeking asylum by giving them a second-hand bike. In addition, we have supported hundreds through our programmes designed to build confidence and build friendships in the local community.

Role and Responsibilities
This role will suit someone who can adapt or work in a fast-paced environment, who can prioritise activities based on the expected amount of income they generate.
As Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a key role across a wide range of fundraising activities, including supporting Trusts and Foundations grant applications, managing our challenge events programme, leading DIY fundraising initiatives, assisting with individual giving appeals, delivering supporter events, and ensuring high-quality donor stewardship. You’ll work closely with colleagues to engage supporters, drive income, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
Skills and Qualiifcations
We’re looking for a proactive Fundraising Officer with strong digital skills and experience using fundraising platforms such as Raisely. You’ll have a track record in campaign delivery, event management, and donor communications, with excellent copywriting skills and the ability to adapt messages for different audiences. Previous fundraising experience is essential, along with the ability to take initiative and work independently to achieve results.

Hybrid - At least two days per week on site in our London office (Brixton) and Deptford workshop, the remainder of your hours can be worked remotely.

Job Purpose:
The Marketing & Fundraising Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing St Hilda’s East’s marketing strategy and will take the lead in organising fundraising events and securing funds from individual donations, and rental and room hire income.

There will be a particular focus on strengthening our unique link with the Guild (alumnae) of Cheltenham Ladies’ College, as well as with parents and pupils of the school – to raise awareness of the impact of St. Hilda’s East and to organise joint events. The postholder will work alongside freelance fundraisers who focus on maximising grant income.
It is not essential to have experience in the non-profit sector; we would love to hear from you if you have experience in sales and marketing in a commercial environment and are looking to bring your talents to the charity sector.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, you will have an opportunity to make a considerable impact on our work through new business development. You will identify and grow our portfolio of partnerships across multiple sectors. You will create engaging strategic partnerships and deliver first class stewardship whilst ensuring organisational KPIs and are met.
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent new business sales and relationship management skills with the ability to think creatively and innovatively. You will be a brilliant communicator with a flair for storytelling and have experience in growing portfolios through cold outreach to partners preferable within the charity sector, but not exclusively. You will have experience in proven success of developing and maintaining effective relationships with companies. Candidates from other sectors with strong sales experience will also be considered.

About the role
The Trusts & Statutory Fundraising Manager will play a key role in delivering Sands’ ambitious income growth plans and strengthening long-term philanthropic partnerships that support Sands’ work to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families.
Reporting to the Senior Philanthropy Manager and sitting within the Partnerships & Philanthropy Team, the role will lead the development and growth of a strategic portfolio of trusts, foundations and statutory funders, securing significant multi-year income and building long-term relationships with supporters and partners.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and relationship-driven fundraiser to help shape and grow a high-potential area of fundraising at Sands. The postholder will work closely with senior colleagues across research, training, bereavement support and engagement teams to develop compelling funding propositions aligned to Sands’ strategic priorities.
The role combines strategic planning, relationship management and high-quality bid writing, alongside leadership of the trusts pipeline, stewardship activity, cross-team collaboration and line management of a Trusts Fundraiser.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and strategic thinker with experience securing five and six-figure grants, developing funder relationships and translating complex programmes into compelling, impact-led cases for support.
Includes line management of one Trusts Fundraiser.
