About the Role

The CEO will provide leadership to Embracing Age and to be responsible for the management and administration of the charity, in partnership with and reporting to the trustees. You'll lead, inspire and motivate staff and volunteers, whilst upholding and developing the Christian ethos, vision, mission and values of Embracing Age, along with the strategic objectives and priorities.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and committed Business Development Manager to join our growing charity. Responsible for winning new business and retaining existing contracts to achieve financial and growth targets, this is a pivotal role at Kinship. If you are self-motivated, have experience of producing high quality, successful bids, can think strategically, and love to work collaboratively across teams, we want to hear from you.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead on all commissioning activity at Kinship directly with commissioners and through tendering activity.

• Lead and support the creation of high-quality bids including writing technical questions and method statements.

• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of Kinship, the external environment, and kinship carers and integrate this knowledge into business development activity and bid production.

Essential requirements include:

• Experience of successful bid production and bid management – from identification of opportunity through to submission. Track record in successful tendering for retention of contracts and new business.

• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Able to articulate and translate complex ideas and service delivery models into compelling, structured, and high-quality written propositions.

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for Global Black Thrive involvement in the Culture of Care Programme liaising with the Lived Experience Advisors, the Race Equity Lead, Neurodiverse Connections, the Royal College of Psychiatrists and NHS England.

About the Role
LNAA is at an exciting stage in developing and expanding our charity retail offering to communities across Lincs and Notts, as well as setting up an online presence.

We are at the early stages of developing a new retail business development strategy and looking for an experienced senior manager to lead and develop the overall retail strategy to support our clinical and patient critical care work.

Given our current size, the role will initially focus on the operational day-to-day retail operation alongside the strategy development and implementation.

You may have a commercial or charity background but most importantly you will be experienced in securing and setting up new retail outlets as well as understand e-commerce. A track record of increasing profit margins, empowering staff to exceed expectations and ensuring our brand is well represented on the high street.

The role 

You’ll bring energy and enthusiasm to the team, ensuring financial functions are carried out efficiently, effectively, accurately and in a timely way to enable us to focus on achieving our charitable mission.

The focus of the role will be on managing and improving financial processes, ensuring that the Senior Leadership Team have up-to-date and accurate records for reporting to the Board, supporting the programmes and philanthropy teams with accurate fund reports and preparing the accounts for audit each year.  You will work closely with the whole team of staff and volunteers, but you will work most closely with the Operations Director and the Finance Manager.

Key Areas of Responsibility 

1. Treasury and Investment Management

· Monitor endowment investments and provide calculations and support in relation to total return

· Prepare quarterly investment management report

· Treasury management to maximise our investment returns

2. Bookkeeping and Management Accounts

· Work with the Finance Manager to ensure donations are properly recorded on our CRM and in Sage

· Work with the Finance Manager to reconcile bank accounts monthly

· Preparing monthly management reports, noting significant variances with forecasts

· Monitor outstanding debtors, and with line manager approval, chase overdue debtors

· Prepare fund balances when required by the programmes team to support grant-making

3. Annual Accounts

Person Specification - Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Required

· Ideally at least five years’ experience in a similar role

About IKWRO

IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.

We work with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women. We offer services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English. Purpose of Job

The Fundraising Officer will work as part of the Fundraising and Marketing team and will be responsible for:

• Nurturing relationships with existing and prospective donors

• Sustaining and developing our group of individual and community-based supporters.

This strategic role involves building essential relationships with politicians and key stakeholders, increasing our organisational profile, and leveraging findings to advocate for policy changes.

• Strategic Advocacy and Campaign Leadership: Develop and lead PCR’s campaign and public affairs activities, ensuring strategies are focussed on achieving meaningful policy and practice change on the highest priority issues, including screening and access to innovative and evolving treatment options.

Overview / purpose of the role

We’re looking for a Finance & Operations Assistant who is interested in developing a career in bookkeeping and/or accountancy within the nonprofit sector. No previous experience is required, just lots of passion and a motivation to pursue a long-term career in charity finance. The successful candidate will undertake training with the AAT (funded by us) towards a bookkeeping qualification alongside working as our Finance & Operations Assistant, you will be given some time to study during your working hours for this qualification.

The Finance & Operations Assistant is a central resource within CGP, working with colleagues in the Operations Team, and across the organisation to provide financial and operational support to all areas of our work. They will work closely with the Head of Operations & Evaluation to process invoices, expenses and conduct weekly payment runs, ensuring that all financial policies and procedures are carefully adhered to. They will also support colleagues to follow our financial policies and processes and act as the first point of contact for any questions on these procedures. Additionally, they will provide general administrative and operational support to colleagues as outlined in the below job description.  

We do not require the successful candidate to have any particular/specific formal qualifications, you may have just finished education or be looking for a change in career, what you will need is excellent attention to detail and a strong interest in developing a finance career with us.

Responsibilities

Finance

● Managing our accounts payable inbox, monitoring all incoming invoices and following up with team members on any missing information if required

● Processing and coding invoices  in Xero accounting software ahead of weekly payment runs

● Checking that correct coding and approval procedures are followed for staff expenses in Soldo

● Conducting weekly payment runs via our online banking system

● Coordinating our monthly payroll processes (working with external providers)

The right candidate is less likely to be defined by their qualifications and prior experience, but will be someone who meets the below criteria, and is ready to learn. They will have an aptitude for maths and finance,  excellent attention to detail and a meticulous, methodical approach to work and troubleshooting.

● Has an interest in developing a career in the nonprofit finance sector and willing to commit to undertaking financial training

The Catalyst Collective is an innovative and rapidly growing non-profit organisation. Since our pilot programme launched in January 2021, we have expanded significantly. The Head of Project Development is a new and pivotal role within the organisation that will bridge the gap between our fundraising efforts and the development and implementation of projects. This strategic position is focused on developing new projects based on clear evidence of need and alignment with PCR’s mission and priorities, as well as enhancing the case for existing projects. The role will work in collaboration with the delivery and partnerships team to develop cases for support and secure substantial funding to ensure we can continue to expand and deliver impactful, sustainable projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding our operational capacity, initiating innovative projects, and contributing significantly to our growth targets for impact and the associated income to achieve this. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Project Development and Management: Spearhead the development of new projects and work alongside fundraising to develop bids to support existing initiatives, ensuring alignment with PCR’s strategic goals and funding opportunities. 

• Fundraising Support: Collaborate closely with the fundraising team to identify and secure funding from large statutory sources, including but not limited to the likes of the National Lottery Community Fund, NHS, NIHR, and Sports England. 

• Evidence Gathering: Develop a robust evidence base and demonstrate PCR’s capability through in-house or commissioned pilot work.

A charity supports people living with dystonia; an often debilitating and painful disorder that is lifelong and is estimated to affect around 100,000 people in the UK, Dystonia UK is a lifeline for many. The organisation is expanding and is looking for a talented Communications Officer to work closely with the Director of Fundraising and Communications in a role that will be busy, hands on, and key to communicating the amazing and important work this organisation undertakes to its audiences.

Key responsibilities within the Communications Officer role will include:

• Writing engaging copy for a variety of mediums including both printed and digital
• Support the Director of Fundraising and Communications in creating and designing digital and print collateral for campaigns and events
• Lead on the design and publication of high-quality digital and print information about Dystonia UK, its services, projects, and about dystonia, the condition, and medical services.

London's Air Ambulance treats patients who experience critical injury in the capital and support them and their families on a road to recovery. This is only possible through close collaboration between  London's Air Ambulance Charity, the London Ambulance Service (LAS), Barts Health NHS Trust (Barts), London's Major Trauma Centres and the wider Major Trauma Networks, to deliver groundbreaking care and save lives.

The Charity has grown significantly in size and complexity over the last few years and we are now seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the Deputy Director of Finance to provide the charity's Financial Performance and Analysis function.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance this post supports the provision of high quality financial reporting to assist budget holders, managers, directors and trustees. Acting as a finance business partner you will provide financial insights, analysis, and guidance to support decision-making and drive the financial performance of the charity.

Key areas of responsibilities;

• Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including finance and non-finance colleagues, to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the charity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Own the full life cycle of reports from build to delivery.

The Foundling Museum is transforming how digital systems underpin the foundations of this small but mighty Museum and charity. The position of CRM & Systems Administrator sits at the heart of this continued transition, following the successful implementation and migration to Shopify, Xero & Beacon CRM in 2023.
This new role is essential to the success of Philanthropy and Partnerships, Director’s Office and the whole team, in providing effective research and administration support. The CRM & Systems Administrator will provide support across all fundraising areas including individual giving, corporate sponsorship and trusts and foundations as well as playing a vital role in keeping all Museum systems working effectively.
This includes processing donations and gift aid and maintaining records on the CRM. You will work as a key part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships team to help implement the Philanthropy and Partnerships strategy and streamline all CRM and supporter processes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual with a flair for collaborative working and information management who is looking to expand their administration skillset and make a tangible impact on our work, in particular supporter relationship management.
Critical to this role and the ongoing project of managing information, income generation and communications, will be the collection, management and sharing of data within our data and digital eco-systems.

Key objectives in first 6 months:

• Completed the migration of supporter data to Beacon CRM, working closely with the Project Manager: Director’s Office to ensure that data is managed in the most effective way to aid relationship management and income generation going forward

Key responsibilities:
CRM Administration & Finance Processes

• Maintain and regularly update the CRM system by logging all applications made and pending, prospects, funding received, reporting deadlines, reports, thank you letters and all other supporter correspondence
• Process donations, pledges and ticket payments from individuals, organisations and trusts and foundations, ensuring gift acknowledgements on CRM are up-to-date and any information related to gifts, grants and donations received is captured accurately and consistently
• Day-to-day administration of the Museum’s Friends, patrons and corporate sponsorship schemes and 1700 Clubs, as directed by the Philanthropy and Partnerships team
• Support the maintenance of accurate financial records of funded projects
• Support the Finance team with Gift Aid administration as required

Data & Insights

• Assist in data capture and gathering, including statistics or insight to support reporting, business cases, reports and funding bids
• Research trusts, businesses, and individuals with a view to identifying potential supporters and maintaining an up-to-date and accurate records of such contacts, updating the team, CRM and prospect pipelines on changes to information
• Ensure that strict confidentiality and GDPR legislation and guidance is adhered to in all aspects of recording data and sharing information in research profiles
• Work with internal teams to appropriately segment and steward new contacts through the CRM, including making data selections for email marketing campaigns.
