About Tiphereth
Tiphereth is a Camphill community in Edinburgh providing residential care and day services for adults with learning disabilities and autism. We are part of the wider Camphill movement, which emphasises intentional community living, meaningful work and shared life between people with and without support needs.
Our community brings together over 200 people with our members, staff, vocational co-worker and volunteers across residential homes, supported living services and vibrant day services. We operate craft workshops, horticulture programmes, a pop-up shop and participate in local markets. Tiphereth is at an exciting point in its development. Following a successful financial recovery and the launch of our Five-Year Strategy, we are investing in our capacity to grow sustainably. This new Director-level role is central to that ambition, leading our efforts to diversify income, build lasting supporter relationships and tell the story of our community to the wider world.
Role’s Primary Objective
The Fundraising (and associated marketing development) Manager is a senior leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO and sitting alongside other senior managers on the Senior Management Team. This is a newly created role with significant scope to shape Tiphereth's external engagement and income generation strategy.
In Year One, you will be hands-on across the full breadth of fundraising and marketing activity, building the infrastructure, strategy and relationships needed for long-term success. From Year Two onwards, you will have the opportunity to recruit and develop a small team covering marketing and communications, community fundraising, and grant and trust applications.
This role requires someone who can operate strategically whilst also delivering at pace. You will need to be equally comfortable presenting to the Board as you are drafting a grant application or stewarding a major donor. Above all, you will need to connect authentically with our ethos and be able to communicate the distinctive value of Camphill community life to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising and marketing strategy aligned with Tiphereth's Five-Year Plan and organisational values
• Work towards strategic income targets including a minimum £250,000 in major donor engagement over five years and increasing non-government income to 10% of total revenue
• Identify, develop and secure new fundraising opportunities to maximise income potential and expand Tiphereth's supporter base
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board on fundraising trends, opportunities and risks
• Build business cases for capital projects and new initiatives requiring external funding
2. Major Gifts and Philanthropy
• Identify, cultivate and steward a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and family foundations with capacity to make transformative gifts
• Develop compelling cases for support and funding proposals for capital projects and programme development
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with donors, ensuring exceptional stewardship and regular impact reporting
• Support the CEO and trustees in their donor engagement activities, preparing briefings and facilitating introductions
• Maximise tax-efficient giving through Gift Aid and other mechanisms
3. Grants and Trusts
• Research and develop a pipeline of grant-making trusts and foundations aligned with Tiphereth's work
• Write and submit high-quality funding applications, working collaboratively with service managers to develop project proposals
• Maintain accurate records of applications, outcomes and reporting requirements
• Build relationships with programme officers and foundation staff to strengthen future applications
4. Marketing and Communications
• Lead the development and implementation of Tiphereth's marketing and communications strategy
• Oversee brand management, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all channels, including timely responses to donors and interested parties
• Develop engaging content including the Annual Impact Report, newsletters, social media and website
• Champion digital fundraising initiatives and enhance supporter journeys to improve engagement and retention
• Raise Tiphereth's profile through media engagement, events and participation in sector networks
5. Community Fundraising and Events
• Develop and grow community fundraising income including individual giving, regular giving and legacy programmes
• Plan and deliver fundraising events and supporter engagement activities that reflect Tiphereth's values
• Support and coordinate third-party fundraising by community supporters
• Explore corporate partnership opportunities aligned with our ethos
6. Team Development and Management
• Build the case for and recruit specialist roles in marketing, community fundraising and grant-writing as capacity grows (from Year Two)
• Lead, manage and develop team members, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture
• Manage budgets for fundraising and marketing activities, monitoring performance and return on investment
• Provide clear reporting on fundraising performance to the CEO and subsequently to the Board

The NCTJ is the guardian of the gold standard in journalism training. - Confidence working with senior leaders
Experience in journalism, media, education, social mobility or EDI is welcome but not essential. It is vital that you support the critical role professional journalists play in our democracy.

Purpose of the role
This is a specialist role focused on securing and stewarding funding from trusts and foundations and developing a pipeline of major donors and high net worth supporters, underpinned by exceptional proposal writing and strong relationship management.
Corporate partnerships are led primarily by the head of business development. This role will support corporate fundraising through proposal/case development and stewardship where needed, but the primary focus is securing charitable grants and major donors.
Key responsibilities
1) Trusts and foundations fundraising
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of UK trust and foundation prospects that advance NCTJ’s charitable priorities (including diversity, community reporting, and training for a fast-changing media industry).
- Develop and maintain a grants calendar and tracking system, including deadlines, funder preferences, decision timelines, and reporting requirements.
- Write and submit high-quality, tailored grant applications and expressions of interest, working to agreed targets and timescales.
- Develop a suite of core fundraising materials (case for support, programme proposals, budgets, outcomes and evaluation narrative, boilerplate and templates) to increase quality and consistency across submissions.
- Confidently communicate the NCTJ’s purpose and impact through presentations, reports, and digital content and represent the NCTJ at meetings and events, both virtually and in person.
- Build and maintain strong funder relationships, ensuring excellent stewardship, timely reporting and opportunities for renewal and uplift.
2) Major donor / high net worth giving
- Work with the senior team to identify major donor prospects through networks and sector connections.
- Undertake proportionate prospect research and build a high-quality cultivation pipeline.
- Create tailored donor proposals and impact statements that support donor interests while advancing NCTJ priorities.
- Support cultivation meetings with briefs, materials, follow-up and stewardship plans, tracking all activity in CRM.
3) Impact, storytelling and stewardship
- Work closely with programme and communications colleagues to gather impact data, case studies and beneficiary stories to strengthen proposals and reporting.
- Develop and deliver a clear plan for thanking trusts and major donors, keeping them updated on impact, and staying in regular contact.
- Use NCTJ events and industry milestones as stewardship and cultivation opportunities, coordinating targeted follow-up and relationship management.
4) Systems, reporting and evaluation
- Maintain excellent data quality and discipline in HubSpot CRM, including prospect stage, relationship owner, next actions, submissions, reporting deadlines and contact history.
- Produce clear pipeline and performance reports for the HoBD/chief executive (eg, submissions, conversion rates, forecast, learning and next steps).
- Contribute to quarterly review sessions to evaluate progress and refine approach.
5) Collaborative working
- Build strong working relationships across the charity and its stakeholders to translate NCTJ’s work into fundable propositions and well managed projects ensuring effective delivery of programmes through cross functional collaboration.
- Bring innovative and creative concepts to the team, and develop valuable programmes and initiatives which add to the NCTJ’s new income stream.
- Contribute to shared messaging that reflects NCTJ’s mission: high standards, quality, trusted journalism, accessibility and measurable EDI impact.

The Role

- Developing and maintaining positive collaborative partnership arrangements with commissioners, local authorities, local communities, MPs, the voluntary sector, communities and other key partners and stakeholders.
- Overseeing the financial processes for the organisation and leading delivery of the agreed budgets.

Grants and Trusts Manager.
Stormbreak are on a mission to challenge the rising crisis in children’s mental, physical and emotional wellbeing and we’re looking to grow the stormbreak Trust and Income team to achieve this.

- To liaise with the stormbreak team regularly about funding needs and priorities and to use this knowledge to inform research and applications.
- To develop / update cases for support, making effective use of stormbreak’s impact / evaluation data, case studies and other assets.
- To keep informed of, and adhere to, fundraising regulations / best practice and to keep abreast of fundraising developments.
Most of the time, you’ll be working from home. Once a week, we all meet at our office in Poole – so being able to travel to Poole in Dorset for meaningful connection and discussions with the team once a week is important.

The Philanthropy Manager is a new donor-facing role, which will focus on expanding and strengthening a major donor portfolio to increase five and six figure income from individual donors and family trusts for Art UK. You will lead on managing and growing Art UK’s philanthropic giving programme, which includes the Patrons and supporter events programme and our major donor activity. Working within an ambitious team, you will have the support of a freelance Prospect Researcher to identify new prospects, and the Development Manager and CRM Officer to develop donor journeys and relationship management systems. You will report to the Head of Development, work closely with the CEO and Chair of the Philanthropy Board, and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Budget Management

The UK charity was established by core members of the University College London (UCL) Neotree research project to maximise the impact of their research on the quality of newborn care and newborn mortality. After five years of rapid growth and proven clinical impact, Neotree is seeking a visionary Executive Director to lead our next chapter. Having evolved from an innovative research pilot into a multi-country digital health intervention, integrated into routine neonatal care in Malawi and Zimbabwe, Neotree is poised for national-scale rollout and scale up, alongside rigorous ongoing monitoring and evaluation.
The Opportunity: Impact at Scale
By 2030 the ambition is for Neotree to be a fully integrated, sustainable standard of care across Malawi and Zimbabwe, having been handed over to, and owned by, their respective Ministries of Health. This includes partnerships with the Ministries of Health in both countries to build and hand over neonatal modules in their EHR systems based on Neotree, and support their successful rollout.
2. Strategic Plan Development. Develop a 3-5 year plan with the Board, academic partners, and wider project team to build on our existing foundation to expand Neotree – including addressing research gaps, using AI to improve clinical decision support, and finding ways to expand the adoption of the technology in Zimbabwe, Malawi, and beyond. Sustainability is a core part of that strategy.

About the role

AHF is seeking an England Development Manager (Heritage Revival Fund) to co‑lead our core grants and advisory programme across England. This role has been created following the recent announcement of significant new investment, which will support the expansion of the Heritage Revival Fund through to 2030. This investment will enable AHF, in partnership with DCMS and Historic England, to provide grants to hundreds of communities across England, helping them bring neglected historic buildings back into use.
Ideally based in southern or central England with focus on southern half of the country. The postholder will work jointly with the current England Development Manager (HRF), who will focus on the northern half of England. Together, they will oversee activity and workflow across the whole country. The role also includes joint management of the England grants team (who work remotely) and programme budget, working flexibly and collaboratively to ensure the successful delivery of AHF’s core programme.
We are looking for a candidate with strong experience across the key responsibilities of the role, including team management, programme budget oversight, and reporting. Ideally, they will bring a proven track record of leadership within the heritage or charitable sector. Candidates must have strong numerical and financial skills, excellent attention to detail, confidence using common IT and Office systems, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

This Fundraising Lead role (Maternity Cover) is central to our strategy - designed to secure sustainable income through community engagement, partnerships, and bold, values-aligned funding. Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & income generation
· Trusts & grants: Research, write, and submit compelling funding applications to trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies to secure new and repeat funding.
· Corporate & individual giving: Work alongside Service Delivery Manager and Deputy Service Manager to develop relationships with corporate sponsors and individual donors, creating engagement opportunities.
· Donor stewardship: Manage and nurture relationships with funders, ensuring timely reporting and impact updates.
· Donor stewardship: Provide timely and effective follow-up communications with supporters, ensuring they feel valued and engaged.

Person Specification
Essential skills & experience
· Fundraising knowledge: Understanding of trust, foundation, and corporate fundraising, with proven experience of writing successful grant applications.

· Relationship management: Ability to build relationships with funders, donors, and stakeholders at various levels.

This exciting CRM Officer role will support the data team with data imports, data selections and processing of income.
The Foundation has just started using a new CRM after undergoing a CRM migration from Raiser’s Edge, a very exciting time to be joining the Foundation! This role, alongside with other members of the CRM team, will liaise with the CRM Project Teams to support and ensure the successful outcome of the project and get us up to BAU.
What does the role involve?
- Manage data processes, imports and exports of all fundraising data including direct debits, new donors, email signups etc. in accordance with agreed protocols and in agreement with CRM Manager.
- Ensure that the use of the Fundraising database and the capture of all data from supporters or prospects conforms to data protection guidelines including GDPR relating to supporter preferences and consent.
- Support training for colleagues using the new CRM (Beacon) and help ensure all members are trained and kept up to date on new features and enhancements as they require to do their job effectively.
- Support the reconciliation of the bank statement with Beacon and ensure the Finance team know where to find information to enable accurate coding for management accounts.
What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
- Demonstrable relevant experience working in Fundraising, or a Charity database team role using Raiser’s Edge or any database similar, with experience of CRMs in general.
- Evidenced experience of managing high volumes of personal data using a large and complex supporter/CRM database.
- Evidenced ability to think analytically and deliver the most effective and accurate solutions for data capture, manipulation and reporting.
