We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the Executive department of Samaritan’s Purse International (SPI) and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), supporting the Executive Director (ED) and wider Senior Management Team (SMT). The role is part time (21 hours per week) and based from our head office in Coventry.

Duties will include:

The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating FearFree’ Volunteers, including supervision and coaching of volunteers.
Volunteers are essential to FearFree services both support service roles and non-support service roles such as admin and fundraising. Volunteers will be within the following roles:
· Helpline Support: Responsible for logging referrals and triaging cases, ensuring initial safety advice is given and the service user is directed to the most appropriate service, as well as responding to professional enquiries.
· Facilitating and Co-facilitating Group Work Programmes: This will include facilitating peer support groups and being second facilitator for group work programmes providing support to victims/survivors of domestic abuse, those who have experienced sexual violence and group programmes for perpetrator groups supporting those who wish to change their behaviour.
· Befriending Services: offering support to individuals who have experienced domestic abuse or sexual violence and are still impacted by the trauma of their experiences, providing support and encouragement to enable service users to create independent and fulfilling lives.

The Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with the Volunteer Manager, Head of Fundraising and other Volunteer Coordinators in other FearFree localities.

As their Asset & Compliance Administration Manager your focus will be leading the team in a concise and structured fashion to ensure that processes and interactions aid the delivery of Customer Safety and planned maintenance. Your role will undertake a proactive approach to zero tolerance on Customer Safety and you'll ensure all aspects of customer safety / compliance are maintained, while supporting the delivery and completion of planned maintenance programmes. What skills/behaviours do you need to be an Asset & Compliance Administration Manager?
- Excellent understanding of Customer Safety regimes in electrical, gas, water hygiene, asbestos and mechanical/electrical and a clear understanding of cyclical regimes and remedial actions
- Presenting accurate information, clearly and concisely in reports or dashboards
- Ability to analyse performance information and pinpoint threats to Customer Service and financial performance
- Experience of leading a team towards achieving 100% Customer Safety, contract management, performance and budget management objectives
- Knowledge of finance and housing management systems
Location
The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to Bradford City Centre. They’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage the use of working from home, as long as they meet their customer’s needs.
They’ll provide you with the equipment and software that you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.
Should you wish to work occasionally from any of their regional offices, you may do so on a hot desk basis which will need to be arranged via their online booking system.
Salary
The spot salary for this post is £44,559 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

The role
This role sits in our people team, supporting the charity by providing a professional, comprehensive and proactive recruitment service. To work closely with the HR advisors, the HR coordinator and as necessary, the HR and organisational development manager, to support recruitment and selection-based projects.
As the first point of contact for all recruitment related queries from recruiting managers and candidates, you’ll be responsible for uploading vacancies and supporting information onto our online advertising platforms and manage recruitment activity as a key user of our recruitment applicant tracking system (ATS). You’ll also ensure all our recruitment and selection literature, including adverts and job descriptions are correctly branded and formatted.
You’ll actively support and provide guidance to recruiting managers at the beginning and during all the stages of the recruitment process, along with offering a face to face service to build key stakeholder relationships across the charity. You’ll also be required, when necessary to actively represent the people team at interviews.
You’ll also be responsible for managing the recruitment inbox and supporting recruiting managers and the HR advisors from coordinating interviews to creating a range of quarterly recruitment reports.
About you
You’ll have experience of working in a recruitment administrative role within an HR or recruitment function. And be proficient in using administrative systems and databases specific to recruitment. You’ll have the ability to work as part of a hybrid team and possess excellent written and verbal communications skills allowing you to work together at all times when in the office or when working from home. You’ll understand the importance of working accurately and with attention to detail within a confidential framework and have the ability to use your initiative to plan and organise your own workload.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role is primarily based in our London office, however in line with our hybrid working practice, you will be required to work 2 days in the office which will be Tuesday and Wednesday; the remaining days will be from home.

You will also from time to time be reading with and visiting families yourself, so you must be capable of lifting boxes, carrying rucksacks and pulling trolleys of books, walking around the estate and up and down stairs. The role
As an Executive Assistant in the newly formed Business Support Team, you’ll be highly organised and a great communicator. You’ll be responsible for providing highly efficient and effective support across all administrative and organisational activities. Working in a fast-paced responsive team you will be one of the first points of contact for the Executive Leadership Team and will assist with administration and organisation of diaries for meetings and travel arrangements, preparing briefs and drafting various communications where appropriate. You’ll attend key meetings in a supporting role and ensure efficiency and timely support to the Leadership team.
You’ll also assist with front-line reception administration services in the Ewell, Epsom Office as required.

The terms
Samaritans are looking for two Executive Assistants to join the team - details below;
- 12 month Fixed term contract
- Full time - 35 hours per week. Part time - 20 hours per week preferably worked over 4 days
