The role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Community/Events fundraiser, who has a passion for the cause of homelessness. You will continue to build a sustainable Events & Community fundraising programme. The role will involve building relationships with donors and fundraisers to increase income from corporates, individuals, and legacies. 

This role plays a pivotal role in growing York Road Project’s voluntary income as well as raising awareness and brand recognition in our local area. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Chief Executive and Fundraising sub-committee to develop and implement a fundraising strategy and execution plan that meet the organisation's income targets.

• Support the Chief Executive in building relationships with major donors.

• Proactively seek out and develop new funding opportunities, with an emphasis on chasing opportunities for long-term and unrestricted income. 

• Develop a York Road Project annual fundraising event/campaign, overseeing all administrative tasks, such as mailing list preparation, guest lists, and distribution on campaign items.

• Promote ‘challenge events’ (such as the Surrey Half Marathon) and encourage supporters to take part.

• Encourage supporters to leave legacies in their wills to support the work of the organisation.

• Collaborate with other colleagues and trustees to ensure a coordinated approach to fundraising.

• Accurately record and manage donor data, keeping records up-to-date and GDPR compliant.

• Promote the idea of regular donations to our ad-hoc donors.

• Stay current on fundraising trends and techniques, act as the charity’s thought-leading expert, and drive these trends and techniques into the organisation's fundraising activities.

• Ensure that all fundraising activities comply with relevant regulation and ethical 

standards; for example, The Fundraising Regulator, The Charity Commission etc.

• Create marketing and promotional material in accordance with York Road Project branding, to support fundraising activities as required.

• Develop a volunteer program to enhance community involvement and contribute to the achievement of organisational objectives. These activities will be fundraising related, in order to engage local businesses.

• Identify opportunities to develop funding support from companies and organisations to elicit support (at local, regional, and national levels).

• Manage low risk press releases and enquiries.

• Create content for social media (and other digital channels) while always ensuring consistency in line with brand guidelines. 

• Plan and drive digital campaigns including Small Charity Week and World Homeless Day.

Through this role, you’ll proactively create and grow fundraising income opportunities with corporate partners and large scale, multi-year grant giving Trusts and Foundations. Key Responsibilities

· Through excellent, comprehensive, and considered research, you’ll identify and prioritise a pool of potential large scale, multi-year Trusts and Foundations funders for Horsham Matters. Working with colleagues, you’ll develop authentic, compelling, creative and winning funding bids that can successfully engage and grow these new Trusts and Foundations funders.  

· You’ll proactively identify, engage and build good relationships with prospective corporate donors, successfully securing them as funding partners. Alongside this you’ll deepen engagement and grow our relationships and partnerships with existing corporate donors. You’ll develop funding and partnership proposals that can successfully engage corporate partners and align with their needs, motivations, areas of interests and values.

· You’ll lead and grow our portfolio of flagship fundraising events, helping us engage a variety of prospective and existing donors.

· You’ll lead the fundraising team and line manage the two team members (our Trusts & Foundations Officer and our Community Fundraising Assistant). Working with the fundraising team to set fundraising priorities and to ensure that we maximise our opportunities for donor stewardship, relationship management and income growth across community fundraising, individual giving, and wider trusts fundraising. 

· You’ll develop, monitor and manage a fundraising portfolio establishing a fundraising pipeline, including a range of KPI’s that can be tracked and that will enable you to make informed projections regarding future income. You’ll successfully manage competing, proactive and reactive fundraising opportunities to ensure that Horsham Matters remains focused on its fundraising priorities.

Skills

· You’ll have established and proven experience of corporate partnerships and trusts and foundations fundraising. You’ll also have a good understanding of other aspects of fundraising.

· With excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills, you will inspire and motivate existing and prospective supporters, providing excellent stewardship and crafting compelling and winning funding proposals and appeals.

· You’ll have experience of setting, managing and reporting against fundraising KPI’s, budgets and priorities.

· You’ll have experience of line management.  

· You’ll be well organised, proactive, and a self-starter who is able to self-motivate. You’ll be able to build relationships and rapport with colleagues across the organisation.

· You’ll be able to demonstrate empathy for people from disadvantaged, marginalised or socially-excluded backgrounds.

About the role

The Fundraising CRM Transformation Data Manager will play a crucial role in an exciting project to transform the technology that underpins all our fundraising activities. In this role you will support us to maximise fundraising efforts, enhance donor relationships, and drive revenue growth for the organisation.

As the Fundraising CRM Transformation Data Manager, you will play a pivotal role in helping us move successfully from Raiser’s Edge 7 to Dynamics 365. You will be responsible for overseeing data migration, support data integrations and system design, configure fundraising workflows, and engage in quality assurance.  This position requires a blend of technical data expertise, project management skills, and an understanding of fundraising processes.

Last year, we helped more than 40,000 Young People, with three in four young people on our programmes moving into a positive outcome in work, education or training. The young people we help face a range of challenges, such as unemployment, mental health issues or some have been in trouble with the law. We believe all young people should have the chance to succeed, and that young people are the key to a positive and prosperous future for all of us. Settle is a charity that supports young adults as they leave the care system and move into their first home. We provide intensive one-to-one support addressing practical life skills, sustaining a tenancy and managing emotional wellbeing. As Trust and Foundation Fundraising Manager, you’ll be working to generate income which will enable Settle to expand its reach, achieve its strategic goals and, ultimately, make a real difference to the amazing young people we serve.

You’ll work closely with our senior leadership and support team to help deliver our fundraising strategy. Reporting directly to our Head of Fundraising, you’ll lead on writing grant applications, reporting to funders, managing our prospects pipeline and developing and nurturing long-lasting and rewarding relationships with Trust and Foundation funders.

As a potential candidate, you’ll bring at least two years of grant-writing experience to the role and a strong track record of securing 5-6 figure sums. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to step up to a managerial role, or someone already established at that level.

You will take ownership and responsibility for Settle’s Trust and Foundation fundraising, and you’ll be able to take initiative as well as instruction, leading on projects independently as well as working collaboratively with other team members when required. Finance & Resources Senior Manager | Full-time 35 hours per week | £46,749 - £51,184 
Based at our offices in Clapham, near Settle, with flexible home working. Will consider part time at four days a week. 

An impending retirement has opened up an exciting opportunity for an experienced, qualified Senior Finance Manager to help shape the future of YDMT and it’s subsidiary YDMT Consultants Ltd. We are a growing organisation with a current annual income of c£2million and a staff team of 36 FTE. 

Leading our finance and central support teams you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding the financial health of YDMT and maximising our resources in order to deliver the greatest charitable impact.

Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) is a small Charity doing big things for People, Landscape and Wildlife in the Dales. 

For 27 years we have delivered diverse and inspirational projects, helping to plant 1.5 million trees and securing the future of more than 750 hectares of wildflower hay meadows, creating habitats for our wildlife and helping to tackle climate change. We are passionate about inspiring disadvantaged groups and future generations to care for this special area.

About the role 

Leading on financial management processes across the organisation you will provide high quality, meaningful financial information to support the decision making our Board of Trustees.

You will support YDMT's fundraising, grant-giving and project delivery - leading the central support team to develop and manage robust HR, finance, IT and facilities systems and procedures.

As a member of the YDMT Executive Leadership Team, you will also support our Chief Executive in shaping the future of YDMT's work. You'll provide support and information to the Board and contribute to our vision and direction. 

About you

We are looking for a qualified Senior Finance Manager who is business orientated, with excellent leadership skills and delivers results. A proven background working within the charity sector or similar would be desirable, but isn't essential. You will be passionate about our work and can confidently lead on our financial management processes across the organisation, providing high quality meaningful financial information to support the decision making of the Board of Trustees.
