The Welcome Directory is a multi-faith organisation dedicated to supporting the successful resettlement of prison leavers across England and Wales. We facilitate equal access to faith-based social inclusion while challenging stigma and discrimination as a vital and effective pathway for positive mental wellbeing; helping people to turn their lives around in the long-term and break the cycle of reoffending. We work at the grassroots level to build community capacity, create positive attitudinal change and to build more inclusive and thus resilient communities.
We are currently recruiting for an Operations Officer to lead on administrative support to the charity under the direction of the Project Manager, supporting on engagement with various stakeholders and networks. The goal of the post is to ensure that The Welcome Directory can effectively develop the reach of our work and achieve exponential growth, by maximising administrative efficiency.
Whilst this is a 6-month contract, there is the potential to extend where funding permits.
The role will include:
Leading on operational projects, including:
- Faith community engagement
- Processing faith/ belief community registrations and maintaining records
- Approaching existing and prospective faith/ belief communities, including follow up to the annual survey and periodical team campaigns
- Assisting with the production of the annual physical directory
- Co-ordinating the annual Affiliates Scheme
- Researching new initiatives or solutions
Supporting events, including:
- Support in the administration of the online Prisons Awareness Course and other webinar events, including technical support
- Planning bi-annual team days and any one-off events, in consultation with the Project Manager
- Planning bi-annual team campaign periods, in consultation with the Project Manager and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
- Preparing resources and/or PowerPoint presentations and booking logistics, in consultation with the Project Manager and the Communications & Fundraising Officer
Leading on administration, including:
- Answering phone, email, and letter enquiries
- Purchasing of supplies and dispatch of resources
- Co-ordinating and setting up meetings
- Collating routine data and creating trackers to support operations
- Creating an annual team planner
- Taking minutes at specific meetings
- Leading on team password management
- Following up with stakeholders as required
Supporting on financial operations, including:
- Processing expenses claims and issuing internal invoices
- Paying-in cheques and paying external invoices
- Maintaining the organisational asset register
- Obtaining Gift Aid declarations

Duties and Responsibilites:
Involving people affected by sarcoma
- Strengthen and support our existing Involvement Network, keeping members engaged and informed.
- Facilitate a variety of inclusive involvement opportunities for people affected by sarcoma, reflecting diverse capacities, interests, and abilities, and ensuring these align with our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) framework.
- Recruit, induct, and train new Involvement Network members, promoting the network through Sarcoma UK’s communication channels.
- Develop systems to capture meaningful feedback and measure the impact of involvement activities.

Volunteer Management
- Develop and implement a volunteering programme aligned with Sarcoma UK's organisational objectives.

- Act as the initial point of contact for volunteer recruitment and onboarding, before handing over management to the relevant staff member (e.g. fundraising event organiser or project lead) depending on the role.

- Plan and deliver engaging training for volunteers based on role requirements.

About the Role
The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker will undertake a range of activities in support of Reprieve’s work on cases of individuals on death row or at risk of the death penalty across the MENA region, including casework and investigations into individual cases and the broader death penalty landscape, support to Reprieve clients, and support to partner organisations and lawyers in the MENA region and beyond. The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker is an integral member of the MENA Team, and will work closely with the Media, Campaigns and Digital, and UK and US Policy teams, and the Directors and Deputy Directors. You will share our commitment to fighting against racism and advancing racial justice, and understand our responsibility to do our work in a way that does not compound racist structures.
Background on MENA Death Penalty Work
Several countries in the MENA region consistently rank amongst the highest executing states in the world. Reprieve is one of few international organisations working on combatting the use of the death penalty in the region, working with partners primarily on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt, and monitoring the use of the death penalty across the wider region. The MENA team’s work is diverse and constantly evolving to shape, respond to, and anticipate changes in the domestic and regional death penalty landscape. Our strategy in any given jurisdiction is developed in collaboration with – and informed by – our partners and fellows. Direct casework on strategic cases is core to our work in all regions, and includes legal, political and advocacy strategies as appropriate. We look in particular to find and develop cases and narratives which have the potential to change the landscape and benefit as many individuals or classes of individuals as possible. We also undertake and assist with longer term thematic projects and engage with regional and international mechanisms and organs where it is strategic to do so.
This is a full-time position on a one-year fixed term contract, to cover parental leave, based on a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. Due to the global and sometimes urgent nature of Reprieve’s work, flexibility on working hours will sometimes be required.

About the role
We’re looking for a Associate Director of Brand & Marketing Communications with excellent brand, marketing and digital experience at a leadership level to lead our Brand and Marketing Communications Team.

We are looking for a Data Officer with a keen, analytical mind who is comfortable working with large datasets to be a Data Officer within the Knowledge and Insight team.
Position: SIT53 Data Officer

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the Data Officer will meet data needs relating to the management and delivery of supporter and engagement products. You will work alongside three other Data Officers to assess, prioritise and provide solutions including the building of data selections and journeys for direct marketing purposes and the running of supporter data imports and exports.
Experience of using CRM Dynamics, Faststats and PeopleStage and or any Donor CRM for marketing purposes will make you a person of interest to us. We will support you in learning to use any of the tools and applications used and actively encourage the development of your data and analytical skills. Communication skills play a key part in this role, because you will need to be able to talk through or present selections or solutions to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering data selections, Building automated journeys for fundraising and engagement activity to support increased income generation and supporter retention, ensuring communications are delivered to agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Providing reports and data sets to supporter product owners, managers and delivery staff to help them maximise the impact of activities.
About You
You will have a proven record of:
- Working with large datasets for marketing purposes and provide solutions and or data in response to enquiries from colleagues and other teams.
- Using a relational customer/supporter database to import and export data to and from external suppliers; including data mapping and the design of appropriate import processes.

Purpose
The principal responsibility of an Associate Organiser is their own development: learning the craft of Community Organising under the guidance of an experienced Community Organiser. They work intensively with a small number of member organisations under close supervision, growing their experience, skill and responsibility incrementally. An Associate Organiser is working towards becoming a competent practitioner of the craft of broad-based community organising methodology, and focuses on the building of relational power, the recruitment and retention of dues-paying institutions, the development of leaders, the strengthening of member institutions, leader-led public actions, and the winning of systemic change.
This role is particularly to organise around the issue of low pay and precarious work and participate in Citizens UK’s flagship campaign, the Living Wage Campaign. We need someone who can speak Spanish as well as English, as south London’s Latin American communities are leading the work in South London. There is scope to involve leaders in campaigns around housing, health and migrants' rights, as we recognise that people affected by low pay are very often determined to take action on wider issues beyond work. The purpose of the role is to develop leadership, especially grassroots leadership, workers from London’s lowest paid sectors, that can power the campaign. Crucially the Associate Organiser will work with colleagues in South London Citizens to build and execute a strategy that develops powerful leaders for South London Citizens and wins the Living Wage, Living Hours and other material gains for thousands of workers across the capital.
Main Responsibilities
Working as an Associate Organiser in South London for Citizens UK, reporting to the Lead Organiser, South West, SLC, your main responsibilities will include:
Build relational power to further the goals of CUK

Actively participate in the development of a comprehensive power analysis appropriate to the desired sphere of influence for each project/assignment

Our Organisers and some project teams work closely with our member institutions and will be expected to attend member events that take place in the evenings and occasional weekends. We operate a Time Off in Lieu approach and have very flexible working arrangements to ensure a good work-life balance.

About the role
Sitting on Leeds Community Foundation’s senior leadership team, the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships will develop a new income generation strategy, focusing on high-value, sustainable philanthropy, and a new proactive Communications strategy showcasing the Foundation as the go-to place for philanthropy in Leeds and Bradford.

The CMV Connect Project Coordinator role is designed to enhance the charity's outreach and support initiatives, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, families, and the broader community. CMV Action is a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting families affected by congenital cytomegalovirus (cCMV), a leading cause of childhood disabilities such as deafness, developmental delays, and vision impairment. The charity provides information, advocacy, and support to raise awareness and improve outcomes for those impacted by cCMV, both during pregnancy and in babies and children.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of CMV Connect initiatives, ensuring they align with the charity's objectives. Work with other Operation Team members and report to the Board fortnightly.

Essential
- Education: Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Experience: Proven experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and working within a charitable or healthcare setting. Previous working experience with volunteers within a project would be ideal.
- Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Excel.
- Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
Desirable
- Qualifications: Project management or volunteer management qualification.
- Experience: Experience in fundraising, event management, and using CRM systems, experience managing a similar project or offering support to families.

Working Conditions
- Location: The role is home-based with occasional travel required for meetings and events.
- Hours: Part-time position, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of the projects. Approximately 16 hours per week, equivalent to 2 days per week.
- Salary: £150 per day, 8 hours a day, approx. 2 days a week, approx. 40 weeks till early June 2026.

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with Refuge to find their Senior Legacy and In Memory Executive.
The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working, and an expectation to work from their Vauxhall office one day per month.
This new role will be responsible for helping to develop and manage the legacy and in memory programmes. As the Senior Legacy and In Memory Executive you will have the opportunity to develop and grow the Legacy and In Memory, helping shape our strategy to recruit, engage and steward legacy pledgers and in memory donors. You will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of In Memory and legacy campaigns across multiple communication channels including email, social and print. You will also be responsible for stewarding existing in memory supporters and legacy pledgers, developing and delivering engaging communications in order to maximise lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the Legacy and In Memory Manager with developing the strategy and budget.
· Responsible for managing the monthly budget report for expenditure.
· Responsible for developing campaigns to market the legacy and in memory areas to our supporters.
· To work with the Legacies and In Memory Manager to develop a supporter acquisition, stewardship and retention plan.
· Responsible for tracking and monitoring the agreed KPI’s reporting monthly on activity and targets. To use this analysis to review the portfolio of activity quarterly with the Legacy and In Memory Manager and make recommendations about future marketing activity.
· To work collaboratively with other teams in the Fundraising, Comms and Policy directorate to cross sell legacies and support all teams with their in-memory fundraisers.
· To work closely with the Supporter Care team to ensure all donors and next of kin are thanked appropriately and that a relevant stewardship programme is put into place.
· Work collaboratively with the Digital Engagement and Mobilisation team to ensure that all agreed marketing activity is delivered as agreed on time and budget. To ensure that all legacy and in memory enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally.
· Work with the CRM and Supporter Care team to ensure that all Legacy and In Memory data on The Raiser’s Edge database is accurate, valuable and kept up to date.
Person Specification:
· Experience of managing successful programmes and campaigns to recruit and retain legacy and in memory supporters through a variety of channels
· Experience of working to and achieving financial targets
· A self-starter, able to work on own initiative but also able to work within a team and achieve strong results.
· Experience of cultivating supporters through effective stewardship programmes.
· Experience of CRM database such as Raiser’s Edge to record, inform and analyse data.
· Experience of creating stewardship plans for supporters
· An interest in and commitment to the long-term success and development of Refuge.
