We currently have an exciting opportunity for a customer focused individual to join our team as a Supporter Care Advisor. You will join us working 35 hours per week, on a 12 month fixed term contract and will be based at our National Cat Centre. In return you will receive a salary of up to £26,796 per annum plus excellent benefits.
This role is on a hybrid basis, meaning a mix of working from home and at Cats Protection's National Cat Centre in Chelwood Gate, East Sussex.
Since 1927, Cats Protection has helped thousands of cats each year, across the UK. As a community of volunteers, employees, supporters and partners, we’ve improved the lives of millions of cats and transformed the way millions of people see and care for cats.
The Supporter Services team is part of the Cats Protection Marketing & Income Generation directorate. We answer queries from supporters about memberships, sponsorships, lotteries, raffles and donations. We also record and update the contact preferences of our supporters to ensure we only send communications which are wanted. The Supporter Services team is also responsible for the management of the Gift Aid scheme for Cats Protection, claiming money back from HMRC to provide much needed assistance to the many cats and kittens in need of help. We look to provide the best service possible to our supporters, although we never stop striving to improve this service.
Responsibilities of our Supporter Care Advisor:
As our Supporter Care Advisor you will provide a first-class level of customer care to current and potential supporters to secure financial and non-financial support, nurture relationships and increase levels of engagement, ensuring supporters feel valued and a key part of our work. You will be the first point of contact for fundraising enquiries and direct communication with supporters via a variety of channels (including inbound and outbound telephone calls, letters, email and social media response), helping to build loyal, committed relationships with supporters.

About You:

With a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint you will be able todemonstrate accurate administration skills including word processing, spreadsheet creation and digital filing.

About the role:
The Finance Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of effective transaction processing within MAG’S Corporate Finance Department. The role holder will efficiently manage the finance inbox and phone, responding to queries promptly, and escalating issues to the Corporate Finance Manager when necessary. In addition, you will manage the purchase and sales ledger, including registering and posting supplier invoices, maintaining supplier and donor details, raising sales and donor invoices, and ensuring accurate allocation and reconciliation of transactions. About you:
The ideal candidate will have proven administration experience and the ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines, approaching tasks methodically and thoroughly, remaining calm under pressure and collaborating enthusiastically as part of a team. They should possess basic knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail. This role supports the delivery of METRO’s groups for LGBTQ+ young people, alongside a Lead Youth Worker. The successful applicant will work with the Youth Group Lead to deliver sessions, promote the group and complete administrative tasks associated with the groups. The role sits in METROs vibrant Youth Domain Team, where we are all motivated by creating safer spaces for all LGBTQ+ and questioning young people to thrive.
Programme
METRO youth groups provide safe, social spaces for LGBTQ+ young people to meet and receive support from youth workers and their peers.
The groups provide a structured programme of activities which is co-designed with young people. The programme addresses key areas such as mental health and wellbeing, sexual health, drugs and alcohol awareness, as well as rights for young LGBTQ+ people. The programme supports with employment, study, life skills, and healthy living.
The groups also provide opportunities to connect and participate in cross-group events such as half-term events, Prides, Youth Summits, and other opportunities. To support this staff is required to occasionally change their working pattern to other evenings and weekend work. Employees are offered sessional work as and when there is a need in the domain.
Role
This role will primarily be posted at METRO’s weekly “Snap” LGBTQ+ group in Bromley for 16–24-year-olds. The group is delivered in person. The role will occasionally support cross-group events and outings as per agreement. METRO Youth workers are often offered extra sessional work to provide cover in other locations across south London. Staff travel expenses outside of regular place of work is covered by METRO.

Your role
As Assistant Shop Manager, it is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Shop Manager in Surbiton's brand new Scope shop (Victoria Road, Surbiton, KT6 4NS). The shop will be opening mid 2024. You will be able to use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. World Land Trust (WLT) is at the forefront of international conservation efforts through our programme of land purchase and land acquisition in collaboration with our international partners, including the development of carbon and other payments for ecosystem services projects. Who we’re looking for
We are looking for applicants with an excellent knowledge of spatial and ecological data analyses, and monitoring and GIS will be essential for this role. Our preference is for a candidate with experience in fieldwork and biodiversity conservation. You will have good communication skills, be able to work independently as well as in close collaboration with colleagues and be able to translate technical reports and assessments to a wide range of audiences. About us at the NCT
A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.
Our Lancashire Infant Feeding Support project is commissioned by Lancashire Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.
We are seeking a capable Peer Supporter who will support parents at East Lancashire Hospital Trust and at various community settings in Lancashire and offer support in service user homes. This role will mainly be based at out in the community, with some homeworking (expenses will be reimbursed).
About the Role
You will be responsible for offering breastfeeding support for parents within East Lancashire Hospital Trust and the community.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
· Providing breastfeeding support to families on the wards at East Lancashire Hospital Trust, in service user homes and community settings within Lancashire.
· Support in delivering inductions for volunteer peer supporters.
· To report any concerns or additional support needs of women to the NCT management team and/or Infant Feeding Lead for referral onto partner agencies as appropriate.
· To attend regular supervision/support sessions.
· Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Lancashire area and ensuring all support is accessible and inclusive.
· Ensure that data collection and feedback is collected in a timely manner in an inclusive way.
You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.
Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires breastfeeding experience of at least 3 months. The training can be undertaken within your working hours.
The role is 17.5 hours per week which will be worked Monday to Wednesday 09:00 – 15:00. This will be split across East Lancashire Hospital Trust, in service user homes and at community settings across Lancashire, however there is also some home-based working required.

Main Responsibilities
As one of our regionally dispersed Community Fundraiser's, you'll be joining a busy team, where you will manage relationships with our key supporters with the primary purpose of generating income across a geographical area, through community fundraising activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering income targets across the region by building strong relationships with individuals, local companies, community groups and volunteers, in line with our community fundraising strategy. As an experienced fundraiser, you'll be confident working towards income and expenditure targets and reporting on financial progress. It is desirable that you have managed and secured corporate partnerships and have event management knowledge, though training will be provided.
You will have a passion for building excellent relationships with your supporters to increase loyalty and life-long relationships with the charity.
