The Management Accountant plays a central role in ensuring that the Fair Education Alliance’s finances are accurate, well managed and clearly understood across the organisation. Working as part of the operations team, the postholder maintains the financial systems and processes that underpin FEA’s work. This includes overseeing day-to-day finance operations, producing reliable management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring that financial records meet charity accounting and regulatory requirements.

The Management Accountant also acts as a trusted financial partner to colleagues across the organisation. By providing clear, accessible financial information and helping budget holders understand their resources, the role enables confident decision-making by the senior leadership team and trustees. Through careful financial stewardship, strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement, the Management Accountant helps ensure that FEA remains financially resilient and able to deliver its mission to create a fairer education system.

The Operations Officer plays a central role in ensuring that the Fair Education Alliance runs smoothly, efficiently and to a high standard across all aspects of its work. Working as part of the operations team, the postholder helps maintain the systems, processes and practical foundations that enable the organisation to function effectively.

This includes supporting people operations and HR administration, coordinating governance processes, managing organisational systems and IT access, and delivering high-quality logistics for events and organisational activities.

Acting as a trusted point of support for colleagues, the Operations Officer helps create a responsive and well-organised working environment where staff, trustees and members feel enabled to do their best work. About the role

Reporting to the Events and Engagement Manager, you’ll coordinate and deliver a range of community fundraising initiatives that contribute directly to Big C’s income targets.

A key focus of this role is responsibility for developing and growing our Regular Giving and Legacies income streams. You’ll nurture supporter relationships, promoting long-term giving and legacy pledge opportunities to help ensure these vital areas of income continue to grow.

Alongside this, engage with local groups and organisations helping to deliver activities that inspire individuals and communities to get involved. You’ll act as a visible ambassador for Big C, representing the charity at events and cheque presentations. This is a proactive role that combines relationship-building, income generation and coordination — ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the community while keeping everything organised behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver community fundraising initiatives that directly contribute to agreed income targets
• Take ownership of Big C’s Regular Giving and Legacies fundraising activity, driving engagement and income growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with supporters, local organisations and community groups

About the Role

• You'll be part of the Service Design & Innovation team and work alongside dedicated colleagues who are committed to improving support and outcomes for witnesses and victim/survivors across England and Wales. We offer supportive leadership, opportunities for development, and the chance to shape meaningful change at national scale.
• The role is home-based with regular travel across England and Wales. Some evening or weekend work may be required.
• As the Coproduction Lead, you will play a pivotal role in creating a consistent, meaningful, and sustainable coproduction model across the Witness Service. You'll work closely with witnesses, frontline staff, volunteers and partners to build safe, supportive spaces where people feel empowered to share their ideas, experiences and insights.
• You will design and lead coproduction activities - from workshops to journey mapping, prototyping and collaborative design sessions - ensuring that witness experiences inform strategic and operational decision-making. You'll also support the embedding of service design and innovation principles into practice, helping shape the future of our services.

What You'll Do

• Lead the planning and delivery of coproduction activity across the Witness Service.
• Engage directly with witnesses to gather insights that drive service improvements.
• Produce high-quality outputs such as summaries, learning products, and design artefacts.
• Facilitate workshops, engagement groups and prototype testing sessions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including digital, data, operations, research and quality.

•  Working with the FHL office in Bethlehem, maintain accurate records of grants paid
•  Monitor and maintain correct reporting of Restricted and Unrestricted income and expenditure
• Manage all UK banking activities and maintain oversight of the charity’s bank accounts in Bethlehem 
• Prepare, validate and submit regular Gift Aid claims to HMRC
• Prepare monthly management accounts for the Management Committee and Board of Trustees
• Working with the CEO and Treasurer, prepare annual budgets and periodic reforecasts as required
• Working closely with our external auditors, deliver an effective year end close and audit process and ensure submission of Annual Trustees’ Report and Financial Statements to the Charity Commission

Purpose of the Role

The Administrator / Finance Officer plays a key role in the smooth running of One Newham. The postholder will provide reliable financial administration, maintain accurate records, support budgeting and reporting cycles, and ensure effective office and administrative systems are in place, with a strong emphasis on finance.

Key Responsibilities

Finance (priority area)

• Maintain accurate financial records on QuickBooks.

• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with cashflow forecasts.

• Liaise with and support the Hire Scheme volunteers and ensure that their expenses are paid on time.

• Promote the scheme widely and ensure that it is taken up by local residents and community groups.

Member and Network Communications

• Maintain up-to-date contact lists and mailing groups for One Newham members and partners.

• Support the production and circulation of member communications, including e-bulletins, newsletters and event invitations.

• Upload and update content on the One Newham website and/or member portals (where applicable).

• Assist with communications for forums, training sessions and network events (e.g. creating simple flyers, booking links, reminders).

• Help ensure a consistent, timely flow of information to members about opportunities, funding, training and key local developments.

Person Specification

Essential Experience and Knowledge

• Experience in a finance-focused administrative role, ideally in a charity or small organisation.

• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks.

• Experience maintaining financial records, processing invoices and preparing reconciliations.

• Good understanding of office administration systems and general office management.

• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint/OneDrive) and Google apps.

• Experience maintaining contact lists or simple CRM/mailing systems.

Skills & Abilities

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in financial work.

• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear emails and simple updates for members.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in East Sussex who support Young Carers, aged 5-18 years, who have caring responsibilities for someone in their family due to disability, long-term illness, mental health, or drug or alcohol misuse.

You will manage an existing caseload and new referrals, meeting with families and Young Carers to complete statutory assessments and providing short-term interventions that support Young Carers to improve their resilience, educational chances and wellbeing. This might be signposting to local services, action planning, one-to-one support, or our workshop programme.

Working closely with schools and Childrens Services, you will make referrals to a range of professionals and community services, ensuring whole family needs are met, and thereby reducing the impact of caring on the Young Carer.

As a CYP Coordinator, you will plan and deliver workshop sessions and activities, providing opportunities for Young Carers to spend time with their peers and recognise that they are not alone.

This is a full-time role delivering the service across Hastings & Rother and includes working occasionally at our Lamberhurst office. Some early evenings required. Own car essential.

Our coordinators plan, arrange and deliver a programme of activities shaped around the needs of the young people, making the most of local opportunities, from heritage sites and outdoor adventures, to sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and team challenges. These sessions help children build friendships, grow in confidence, and express themselves in a fun, supportive space.

1 x CYP Coordinator- Short Breaks Family Days- 30 hours- Kent wide

Family days bring families together to create special memories and enjoy time with others who share similar experiences. The coordinator develops and facilitates activity days which involve the whole family and provide opportunities to build friendships and connections with others. Activities take place at outdoor centres, local heritage sites and museums, as well as organised beach days and community centre-based workshops and activities.

Applicants should have relevant experience of working or volunteering with children and young people in education, health or social care, and have exceptional organisation and communication skills. 

The roles are 30 hours per week, working Wednesday to Saturday. In school holiday periods, more activities take place on weekdays (instead of Saturdays), so flexibility is needed.

It’s essential that applicants have their own car and are willing to drive a minibus (full training provided).

We are looking for a new team member to join our service supporting Carers across Havering to improve their health and wellbeing, and access wider support that meets their needs.

This is a great opportunity to support local communities, working with Adult Carers and Young Adult Carers and helping them to make informed choices, build confidence, sustain their independence, and access support that meets their individual needs. You will carry out assessments to understand people’s individual circumstances and level of need, working together to co-produce support plans. This will involve meeting Carers in community settings and conducting home visits. The team also facilities coffee mornings and activities offering Carers opportunities for peer support and to take a break from caring.

You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will support the development of escalation plans so that Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.

This is a part-time role (22.5 hours), and applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Carers and/or vulnerable adults in a relevant sector. It’s essential that you are confident using IT and maintaining excellent records. You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services.

Due to the area covered by the service, you will need a valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 17:00 This is a Hybrid role 3 days based in our Head Office and 2 days work from home with occasional visits to our various services. 

About the Role

We're looking for a Purchase Ledger to join our Finance team to help the organisation meet its financial and legal obligations  as well as support central and operational teams with their financial budgets and controls to manage and maximise funds. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team, helping to improve processes, develop financial tools, and deliver training where needed. 

This role is essential for ensuring the organisation meets its financial and legal obligations, optimising the management of funds entrusted to us for our vulnerable residents and participants. Your work will ensure financial accuracy and integrity across the Group and its subsidiaries, enabling our services to run smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for managing supplier payments, staff expenses, and procurement processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with organisational policies

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Producing regular reports to support transparency and informed decision making
• Support with weekly forecasts and monthly credit card reconciliations
• Maintain and update financial records and reporting templates
• Assist with audit preparation and ensure compliance with SIG policies and legal standards
• Monitor spending trends and provide clear reports and analysis
• Act as a key contact for finance-related enquiries and stakeholder communication

About You

We are looking for someone experienced in Purchase Ledger, a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives on structure, accuracy, and making meaningful contributions within a purpose-led organisation. You will need to understand the importance of financial integrity in the not-for-profit sector and be passionate about using your skills to support effective service delivery for those who need it most.
