About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and community-minded Project Manager to help us deliver a range of active travel and sustainable transport projects.
You’ll lead on the coordination of community based cycle confidence training, manage project logistics and monitoring, and support people across Nottingham to adopt greener ways of moving around. The role also involves engaging with community partners, schools, and businesses, creating compelling programmes to suit their needs and abilities.
The RideWise team works virtually but there will be some regular travel to visit community partners, take part in face to face team meetings and prepare for events. Travel will be reimbursed.

This new Director of Philanthropy role will lead and guide the organisation to build philanthropic fundraising in Europe. This will involve developing a philanthropic fundraising strategy, working to build a pipeline of high-value donors, and securing five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts. This role will be responsible for delivering annual income targets rising to unrestricted or lightly restricted donations totalling £1 million per annum within four years. It will also support the Director, of their International Fund (based in the USA) in the development of an ambitious global catalytic unrestricted fund targeting $1 billion in commitments over the next five years.
To be successful in this role, this person will have proven significant experience in major gift fundraising and a proven track record of securing high-value, multi-year philanthropic commitments from individuals, family offices and/or foundations. Role Description
Working under the café manager, the assistant manager is responsible for developing and growing the ministry of King’s Coffee House, assisting the management of the daily operations and volunteer teams.
The assistant manager shares responsibility for recruiting, training, and motivating the volunteer team to provide excellent customer service and represent HTL Church well to the community.
Job Specification
• Manage day-to-day operations of the coffee house, including opening and closing.
• Recruit and train volunteers in drinks/food preparation, proper use of coffee and catering equipment, and customer service.
• Where needed, create rotas and communicate with volunteers, including building a volunteer community.
• Ensure all Food Hygiene and Health and Safety procedures are followed in the café areas (including cleaning of equipment, café area, and checking bathrooms).

We recognise that artificial intelligence (AI) such as 'ChatGPT' etc can be useful for applicants e.g. to shorten an initial draft, so we do not attempt to have an absolute ban on AI in applications. However we would caution applicants not to rely too much on AI in drafting answers to application questions. We want to hear your authentic voice arising out of your experience, and we will be looking for answers that use examples and experiences that are specific to you. You are more likely to be able to produce that kind of content yourself than an AI will.
