In this role, you will assess young people referred to the service and determine their suitability for New Horizon's Accommodation Pathway or private rented accommodation. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support to young people living within our accommodation projects, helping them to build the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes. You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload across multiple accommodation schemes, completing assessments, developing support plans, and working closely with young people to identify and secure appropriate move-on options into independent living in a timely manner. The role requires effective partnership working with internal teams, local authorities, landlords, and other external agencies to ensure young people receive coordinated and holistic support.

This is a varied and rewarding role requiring excellent communication, sound professional judgement, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining accurate records and delivering a high standard of service.

About the Role

About the Role 

As Service Manager – Community Services, you will lead the operational delivery of community-based domestic abuse services, including IDVA, triage and outreach support for adults, children and young people. Working closely with the Area Operational Lead and as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strong, values-led leadership to frontline teams, drive service performance, and ensure delivery is safe, responsive, trauma-informed and survivor-led. You will also play a key role in strengthening partnerships, supporting service development and ensuring services remain compliant, effective and sustainable.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operational delivery of community domestic abuse services, ensuring support is safe, timely, trauma-informed and survivor-led.

What you will be doing

• Leading on core finance processing: purchase invoices, credit cards, expenses, income, journals, supplier payments and petty cash.
• Preparing monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet control account reconciliations.
• Leading the production and monitoring of the aged debtors report, working with colleagues to chase overdue accounts.
• Preparing and submitting payroll information to our outsourced payroll provider, and resolving payroll queries.
• Supporting year-end accounts preparation and liaising with auditors.
• Contributing to finance and CRM systems development, and leading finance systems induction and training for staff.
• Helping to shape and update finance policies and procedures.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience supporting a finance function in an SME or charity.
• Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and experience with purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Confidence working with finance systems, and comfortable adopting new digital tools (experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Continia or Jet Reporting is a plus).
• AAT qualified, or actively studying towards AAT, is desirable.
• A clear communicator who can explain financial information to colleagues at all levels.

You will be instrumental in making sure the shop is at the hub of the local community, ensuring a steady flow of donations and acting as the face of Concern Worldwide and raising public awareness of our campaigns.

About you

As Shop Manager, you will have the opportunity to be part of a small, but dedicated and successful retail team.  You will be a highly motivated self-starter who takes full ownership of your role. You will lead and motivate your shop volunteers in maximising the fundraising income for the shop.  It will be your chance to demonstrate and further develop your existing strong commercial awareness, relationship management, sales and customer service skills.

Concern Worldwide operates a growing retail network of eight shops across Northern Ireland, each playing an important role in supporting our work to end extreme poverty. CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT

It is the nature of this post that weekend working (Saturday) and occasional additional seasonal hours are part of the normal working week. Working hours will also involve some evening work to meet the needs of the post. Due to the nature of this role, flexibility is required.

The Direct Marketing Executive will play a key role in delivering high-quality direct marketing campaigns that drive income and engagement from individual supporters. Focusing on cash appeals and alternative gifts, this role will manage the planning, delivery, and evaluation of multi-channel campaigns that inspire supporters to give, strengthen loyalty, and maximise return on investment.

About You

You are organised, proactive and experienced in delivering successful direct marketing campaigns across channels such as direct mail and email. With excellent planning and project management skills, you can manage multiple campaigns from concept to completion, working collaboratively with colleagues, agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

You have strong analytical and numerical skills, enjoy working with data and databases, and use campaign insights to drive continuous improvement. Comfortable using Excel, Word and CRM or database systems, you're confident managing campaign data, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve supporter engagement and response.

An excellent communicator, you have strong written skills and experience writing and editing compelling email and campaign copy. You build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, working collaboratively while confidently managing priorities, negotiating deadlines and solving problems as they arise.

Main purpose of the job

This role will provide additional capacity to help secure new restricted grants, and manage existing reports to ensure maximum possible alignment of grants to Bond’s overall strategy and financial objectives.The role will support the Fundraising Director to identify potential funders and scope opportunities, support with project management of funding proposals, coordination of reports and due diligence requirements.

The role will report to a member of the Senior Management Team but will work closely with Bond’s Director of Fundraising (consultant or employee) and with SMT leads as specific to funder. 

Main responsibilities

Managing the restricted funding pipeline 

• Working with the Director of Fundraising, maintain the restricted funding pipeline including co-ordinating the submission of reports
• Regular scanning for new funding opportunities, new bid identification, tracking deadlines and donor requirements, and identifying Bond’s eligibility for relevant grants. 
• Where required by the Director of Fundraising, produce briefings and background notes for funder outreach.

Supporting the successful development of funding proposals 

• Working with the Director of Fundraising and in coordination with relevant teams, draft funding proposals and ensure that relevant templates and due diligence are completed in line with agreed deadlines and quality standards. 
• Work with the Director of Finance & Planning to prepare budgets for each proposal in accordance with donor guidelines and Bond’s internal budget framework. 
• Working with the Director of Fundraising, support the internal coordination of funding proposal development, including setting up relevant internal calls, supporting communication and liaison with funders, tracking progress, and ensuring that tasks are completed in line with internal and funder deadlines.

Ensure that restricted fundraising supports Bond’s overall and financial strategy 

• Working with the Director of Finance and Planning and relevant SMT leads, ensure that budgets for restricted grant proposals align to funder requirements and templates, while also supporting Bond’s strategy and our financial objectives.
• Maximise cost recovery and track resourcing implications of the funding portfolio. 

Person Specification

Essential 

• Track record of successful fundraising, including drafting successful funding proposals
• Understanding of the restricted fundraising landscape, ideally including experience with funders Bond works with or others funding international development
• Budgeting skills and financial literacy, including understanding of how restricted fundraising can support Bond’s overall financial objectives. (Formal accountancy qualifications are not required.)

Your Mo-Mission (should you choose to accept it):

Movember has an ambitious five-year strategy, and this nine-month contract role sits right at the heart of making it happen. As Project Manager, Global Fundraising, you'll be the connective tissue between Movember's global and local fundraising teams, keeping complex, multi-workstream initiatives moving on time, on scope, and on target across every market we operate in.

Working closely with the Global Director of Mass Fundraising, the Global Director of Markets, the Interim CEO, and the Campaign Steering Committee, you'll help design and deliver the annual Global Campaign Plan, manage the cross-functional Campaign squad, and develop fundraising initiatives that local teams across six markets can actually bring to life. That means building clear briefs, practical toolkits, and implementation guidance that translate global ambition into local execution, and then partnering with those local teams to make sure they have everything they need to succeed.

On any given day you might be managing project plans and timelines, facilitating steering committee sessions, identifying risks before they become problems, tracking KPIs across markets, or supporting the Interim CEO on organisation-wide delivery of the One Mo Plan. You'll also shape and embed best-practice project management methodologies that scale, and lead retrospectives that make Movember smarter year after year.

This is a global role, and that means some out-of-hours collaboration across time zones is part of the deal. Based in London and reporting to the Global Director of Fundraising, this is a full-time, nine-month fixed-term contract for someone who combines genuine fundraising expertise with serious project management discipline, and who thrives on bringing order to complexity without losing sight of the mission.

No Moustache Required - but the following are:

• 5+ years of experience across project management and fundraising, with a track record of delivering complex, multi-workstream projects on time and to target

• Proven experience designing and delivering fundraising initiatives, including the development of toolkits, briefs and implementation resources for local market teams

• Strong experience working with cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams, with the ability to coordinate and align across time zones and organisational levels

• An influential stakeholder manager, comfortable negotiating, challenging, and bringing people along at all levels, including senior leadership and local market leads

• An excellent communicator: clear, calm, and confident presenting to a range of audiences including international stakeholders and board-level leadership
