You’ll help create and coordinate the charity’s communications about Parkinson’s research. As the leading European funder of Parkinson’s research it is vital that we are communicating about the research we are funding. 

You’ll work with colleagues, researchers and volunteers, to produce compelling research content for a wide range of audiences and channels.

You’ll help answer people’s research questions and help more people to understand what’s happening in Parkinson’s research, inspiring them to get involved in the charity’s work to accelerate breakthroughs.

This role is offered as a 12 month fixed term contract covering secondment. 

What you’ll do

• Create and share content about Parkinson’s research through various channels, including digital marketing. 

• Provide timely, clear and informative responses to internal and external enquiries about Parkinson’s research via phone and email.

• Support colleagues across the charity to feature research in their communications in an accurate and moderate way. 

• Help deliver talks across the UK to update the Parkinson’s community on the progress being made  in research.

• A passion for research, with a degree of equivalent in the life sciences. With an understanding and enthusiasm to expand your knowledge of Parkinson’s. 

• Empathy and customer care to work sensitively with the Parkinson’s community and to answer enquiries appropriately.

• Experience working using digital tools and with a range of stakeholders with skills to stay on top of a busy and varied workload.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose - working closely with Senior Managers, the post holder will support all aspects of business development and fundraising, including the development of bids, tender submissions and  applications for funding to achieve the Association’s objectives.   The postholder will also play an important role in supporting the mobilisation of projects and services following a successful application.

SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the development and implementation of a Business Development Strategy incorporating grant funding, contracted provision and social enterprise development, which aligns with the Association’s Strategic and Development Plans.

- Support the development and implementation of an annual Fundraising Plan with ambitious income goals that underpin the Association’s strategic goals and accelerates revenue growth in a sustainable manner.

- Identify new funding / tender opportunities that are well targeted, informed and thoroughly researched in order to maximise the chances of success.

- Produce external funding bids, expressions of interest and support income generating activities including developing tender responses and social enterprises to meet the Association’s objectives.

- Submit bids, tenders and required information to funders within defined deadlines while meeting submission requirements.

- Support the development of business cases for establishing social enterprises and joint ventures that deliver local outcomes and diversify / strengthen the Association’s financial base.

- Work with colleagues to scope, develop, refine and improve services and activities through innovative tools and techniques including organising coproduction sessions with partners, stakeholders and residents.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, contract managers, grant officers and corporates etc.

- Create a business development/funding pipeline tracker – supporting colleagues to keep a track of tender and fundraising opportunities, the progress of each application, workload spikes and bottlenecks, clashes and deadlines; supporting managers and colleagues to ensure that all deadlines are met with maximum efficiency.

- Working with internal and external stakeholders in line with the Associations’ values, policies and processes; remaining motivated, flexible and collaborative in their approach.

Jangala is seeking an ambitious and strategic Fundraising Manager to sustain and grow our income from trusts, foundations and corporate partners. This is a hands-on role for an experienced fundraiser who enjoys translating complex work into compelling funding propositions and building strong relationships with supporters. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will lead on our trusts and foundations pipeline, manage key corporate partners, write high-quality funding applications and support the development of our stewardship and wider fundraising strategies.

This is initially a 6 month contract, with the aim of becoming permanent subject to funding. As Jangala is a growing organisation, you will also help shape fundraising tools/processes and there is potential for this role to evolve according to your skills, interests and development goals over time.

Key responsibilities will include:

Trusts & Foundations

• Leading a pipeline of UK and global trusts and foundations and other grantmakers, including researching and cultivating new opportunities, developing proposals, coordinating internal inputs and submitting high-quality bids

• Managing relationships with our current funders, with a focus on stewardship, reporting and renewals, ensuring accurate, timely and engaging updates on progress and impact

• Working with Head of Fundraising to review our current pipeline, refine our trusts and foundations strategy and identify our approach for priority opportunities, including National Lottery

• Developing and implementing a clear stewardship strategy for trusts and foundation funders

Corporate Partnerships

• Account managing key corporate partners to maintain strong relationships and identify opportunities to deepen engagement over time

• Leading on partnership planning, relationship management, partnership storytelling, impact reporting and, where relevant, corporate volunteering activities

Fundraising Strategy & Support

• Working with programme and technology teams to develop a strong understanding of Jangala’s work and translate this into compelling fundraising narratives

• Supporting the Head of Fundraising with pipeline management, forecasting and fundraising planning

• Maintaining accurate records in Jangala’s CRM and funder tracking systems

• Contributing to the development of fundraising materials, case studies and impact content

• Representing Jangala at external meetings or events to raise our profile and expand our network

• Inputting into Jangala’s evolving fundraising strategy and income diversification

• Keeping aware of trends and innovations in the wider fundraising sector, identifying new opportunities and approaches for us to explore

• As our fundraising portfolio evolves, potential to  take on more varied responsibilities, such as gaming fundraising or corporate new business, or lead a single income stream

The person we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who is confident writing funding applications and managing relationships, and who is motivated by Jangala’s mission and values. • A strong track record in trusts and foundations fundraising, including prospect research, bid writing, stewardship and reporting

• Ability to understand complex programmes or technical work and translate it into compelling funding proposals

Jangala’s office is based in London and operates a remote-first working policy. Travel to our London office will be required for mind-mapping and collaborative work at least once a week.

The role involves supporting service users from referral through admission, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met while collaborating with clinical teams for smooth transitions. Staff provide activities and interventions to help reduce crises, identify triggers, and create safety plans that promote mental health and prevent hospital admissions. Additionally, they contribute to developing service standards, follow policies and legislation, report maintenance issues, and undertake additional duties as required, always upholding health and safety rules and procedures.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The role requires demonstrable experience supporting people with mental health and complex needs, along with a strong understanding of recovery approaches and co-production. Staff should be able to design and deliver activities that reduce anxiety, build confidence, and support individuals in creating their own recovery journeys. This includes engaging service users in assessments, co-producing and reviewing support and safety plans, and maintaining accurate monitoring records for internal use and external reporting. A good knowledge of legislation, including welfare reform, the Care Act, and housing pathways, is essential, as well as the ability to handle financial transactions accurately and use IT systems, including MS Office and case management tools.

Flexibility and resilience are also key, with the need to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, while maintaining high service standards in unpredictable or challenging situations. The role requires excellent stakeholder relationship skills and the motivation to deliver consistent, high-quality support. An understanding of basic building safety issues and the ability to identify repairs is desirable. As Housing Rights Worker, you will deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in line with the hub’s local community projects and strategy. This will involve working alongside people who are experiencing homelessness and bad housing to identify issues facing local communities.  You will plan and deliver casework to individuals and communities to resolve their housing situation, networking and engaging with community groups, local organisations and individuals to understand local housing issues and raise awareness of housing rights.

You will also work within local community settings and alongside community groups, delivering advice and rights awareness through outreach and workshops. You will ensure that people with lived experience of homelessness have opportunities to share their story, give their views and participate in the design and delivery of Shelter services. If needed, you will support our volunteers, provide learning, shadowing and mentoring and be a consistent role model for Shelter’s values.

About you

You will have the ability to engage and work collaboratively with individuals, communities and with all stakeholders, including running group workshops and presentations. You have experience, knowledge of and/or proven ability in housing and homelessness advice and advocacy, with the ability to progress to specialist level knowledge. Essential to the role will be good time management, carrying out casework related interviews, maintaining detailed case records and offering advice and support to clients to inform their decisions.  A proven record of delivering group workshops and presentations is essential, as is a collaborative, flexible and professional approach to your work.

About The Role

This part time Welcome Desk Team Lead role is a key operational position within the Arboretum’s Visitor Experience team. Working 30 hours per week, you’ll take the lead on the day to day running of the welcome desk, ensuring visitors receive a smooth, professional and well managed experience from the moment they arrive. You’ll work closely with the Assistant Visitor Services Manager to support delivery across the site, balancing excellent customer service with strong operational oversight.

It’s made up of individuals who are committed to doing their very best for others, while also making the most of the opportunities and experiences we provide.

You’ll coordinate welcome desk activity, oversee tills and reporting, support daily briefings, and act as a duty manager when required. The role also involves supporting rotas, contributing to seven-day operations across peak and quieter periods, and assisting with extended opening for events. With responsibility for guiding paid staff and volunteers, you’ll help ensure the team is confident, well-trained and able to deliver consistently high standards in a busy visitor environment.

This role would suit someone with solid experience in customer-facing operations, ideally within a visitor attraction, leisure or retail setting, who enjoys leading people and keeping things running efficiently behind the scenes. You’ll be confident handling cash, comfortable supporting volunteers, and able to adapt to changing demands across the site. About the Service

Our counselling service provides one-to-one counselling to survivors of domestic abuse, providing an assessment and 15-20 counselling sessions. The Counselling Service provides support to survivors across London and witin the community, as well as through refuge-based CYP and adult counselling services.

The core service is open 9.00am to 5.00pm. However, appointments can be arranged outside of these hours if required, and may offer flexibility around working hours.

About the role

We are looking for a Clinical Lead to join our counselling service, which provides one-to-one counselling to survivors of domestic abuse. The Clinical Lead delivers line management support to a team of Counsellors and Therapists, supporting with clinical decision making across the counselling service. The Clinical Lead will also work from a trauma-informed perspective, and use multi-modal interventions considering the needs of a diverse group of survivors of domestic abuse.

About you

The ideal candidate will offer a trauma-informed perspective to therapeutic intervention and clinical decision making. They will also have great organisational skills, good communication skills (both written and verbal), and an ability to manage their own workload. You will be able to balance competing priorities and support the wider counselling team to deliver a high-quality service to the survivors accessing support. 

It is imperative to us at Solace that the suitable candidate is a warm, empathetic, and diligent individual with a strong work ethic. You would also be a person who is happy to join and contribute to our services, helping us to make a difference to the lives of those that we support.

Previous management experience is desirable, but not essential. If you hold a recognised professional counselling qualification to Diploma level or equivalent with 2 years’ post-qualification experience, and are passionate about ending VAWG, we would love to hear from you.

Since launching in 2019, we’ve helped to secure key provisions in EU law to regulate ticket resale, spoken at the European Parliament, developed reporting systems for illegal ticket listings, and published best practice guides for the sector. 2026 is a pivotal year for us as we work to ensure that ticket resale is considered as part of the EU’s upcoming Digital Fairness Act and other legislation. 

FEAT is operated by the music business communications consultancy, Name PR. As part of a small team, you would take on the role of FEAT’s Campaign Coordinator to help run our day-to-day operations and progress our work on regulation, enforcement and best practice. 

Based in London, the role is full-time, with occasional overtime required around visits to the European Parliament in Brussels, conferences and events.

Responsibilities 

• Drafting position papers, consultation responses, and open letters in collaboration with the Director. You will help launch public campaigns and guides to shape the future of EU ticket resale.

We are seeking an ambitious and strategic Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead and grow our emergency corporate fundraising portfolio. This role will position UK for UNHCR as the go-to partner for companies responding to humanitarian crises, driving high-value financial and in-kind support when it matters most.
 

Operating at the forefront of global emergency response, you will shape and deliver a compelling corporate emergency proposition, steward a portfolio of five- and six-figure partners, and act as a key point of contact during major humanitarian crises. You will work closely with the rest of the corporate partnerships team, senior leadership and colleagues in the UK and internationally to translate urgent global needs into impactful private sector engagement.

JOB PURPOSE

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
 

Strategy & Portfolio Growth
 

• Lead the design and delivery of an emergency corporate fundraising strategy.
• Position UK for UNHCR as the go-to charity partner for companies responding to humanitarian crises.
• Personally manage and grow a £1m+ portfolio of corporate donors, driving uplifts and multi-year six- and seven-figure commitments.
• Review and refresh the UK for UNHCR Emergency Fund proposition for the private sector, securing renewed and new strategic commitments.
• Analyse recent and lapsed emergency donors and implement targeted re-engagement strategies.
• Work with the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager as required on the stewardship and growth of non-emergency strategic partnerships.

Emergency Leadership & Internal Coordination
 

• Act as the Corporate Partnerships lead during humanitarian emergencies, coordinating internal processes and serving as a senior point of contact for the Senior Leadership Team.
• Finalise and embed a clear emergency protocol and appeal process to enable rapid, coordinated corporate response.
• Work collaboratively across teams to ensure emergency messaging, reporting and stewardship materials are timely, compelling and aligned.

 Relationship Management & Stewardship
 

• Develop and implement tailored engagement and stewardship plans for established emergency partners and donors.
• Identify high-profile visibility opportunities to promote the Emergency Fund and wider emergency response work.
• Coordinate prospect research and network mapping to identify and unlock new opportunities.
• Support the New Business Lead on pitches and proposals where emergency response is a component.
• Collaborate with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager on strategic partnership renewals and new high-value proposals.

Collaboration & Systems
 

• Work closely with UK and international Private Partnerships and Philanthropy (PPH) colleagues to strengthen engagement across markets and channels.
• Contribute to a coordinated calendar of cultivation and stewardship moments alongside the Events Manager.
• Ensure compliance with due diligence, GDPR and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date partner records on Salesforce and SharePoint.

• A strong track record of securing, managing and growing six-figure+ corporate partnerships within an NGO/INGO or comparable environment.
