As Project Manager for My Nature Play, you will play a pivotal role in delivering one of LtL’s most ambitious and exciting Early Years projects. You will coordinate a national delivery team from our England or Scotland office, manage staff and LtL accredited network, support evaluation, and ensure that the project achieves measurable impact for practitioners, children and families. 

You will need:  

• Experience of managing large-scale, multi-site or multi-partner projects (ideally within education, environment or charity sectors). 

• Experience of managing budgets of £1m+. 

• Strong understanding of project planning, delivery and reporting processes. 

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. 

• Ability to manage complex timelines and multiple priorities. 

• Experience of monitoring and evaluation, including data collection and reporting. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage diverse audiences.

• Experience of working / qualification in yearly years education, Family work or play work.

We are looking for a highly organised, experienced and exceptional administrator to work as a trusted partner to The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Church Development Agency (CDA). The CDA is a national organisation dedicated to supporting the Church in serving its communities through the delivery of affordable housing and community development projects, established in response to the Church of England’s “Coming Home” report.  

This key role within the CDA requires a thinker who can anticipate needs, manage priorities, and support The CEO in his leadership function and ensuring effective governance. The Executive Assistant (EA) will play a pivotal role in enabling the CEO to oversee a diverse portfolio of approximately 50 affordable housing projects. Most of the work is funded by the Oak Foundation, with a focus on achieving long-term sustainability.

Refuge Team Leader - Permanent, Workplace based

Salary: £26,520 rising to £27,030 on successful completion of probation

Specific Responsibilities

As a senior member of the team, support the Refuge support service coordinator  to plan, deliver and evaluate high quality, trauma informed, person led services across Torfaen

Lead the refuge team to enable women and children supported by the refuge services to achieve meaningful and impactful outcomes, led by them.

Line management responsibilities including supervisions, 360’s, inductions for the refuge team (staff, volunteers, and students). 

Carry a smaller case load of single women and families.

Oversee rotas for refuge staff and make sure the refuges are adequately staffed at all times.

Work collaboratively with Community Coordinator to ensure refuge, community and initial contact referral paths are easily accessible are clear and concise, and to continue to promote a whole team approach.

Support women and children to have a voice and provide feedback within the organisation and the sector, including surveys, listening sessions and external opportunities

To oversee operational Health & Safety requirements within refuge services

To oversee housekeeping, maximise refuge occupancy and facilitate room turnarounds in a timely manner

Ensure accurate and timely records are maintained in relation to all aspects of the service, including inputting information into our Information Management System.

Assist with routine audits including our database recording system and developing improvement plans where appropriate

Identify training needs following audits, supervisions, observations etc, and co-ordinate training for the team.

Lead regular Refuge Team meetings and participate in Torfaen full team meetings

Support the Coordinator and Service Manager in compiling reports for Welsh Women’s Aid (WWA) Statistics and other relevant reports for projects and services

Attend core group and other similar meetings, ensuring completion of all tasks allocated to Cyfannol Women’s Aid (CWA).

Support the refuge team to when appropriate signpost and refer women and children to the services they wish to engage with for example social services, the police, parenting, health, legal, DWP, housing, homelessness, recreational, educational, and cultural services and also CWA’s other internal services.

Being responsive to requests from other members of the organisation for quantitative and qualitative data, including for example, the creation of case studies.

A current valid driving licence, access to a car and insurance covering business use is essential.

The Senior Buyer will join a busy and dynamic Procurement team of three individuals (two Senior Buyers and the Procurement Manager) and will quickly become integral to the day-to-day running of the Procurement function. It is expected that the individual will have substantial procurement experience.

The Senior Buyer will be responsible for a variety of Indirect spend and suppliers. Additionally, the Senior Buyer will support the Supply Chain team and the rest of the organisation as a subject matter expert on negotiation and procurement activities.

Job Description

Main role and responsibilities:

Ensure effective procurement of goods, services and works by conducting market research, performing supplier due diligence, implementing rigorous contracting procedures, managing contracts, negotiating favourable terms, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and preparing and maintaining documentation to guarantee best value, efficiency, and accountability to both donors and recipients.

Managing people operations and advisory support

· Support managers with employee relations advice and guidance (informal and formal people processes), acting as a trusted expert on all people policy and process matters.

This will include acting as the central point of contact for volunteering operations, providing guidance, support and inspiration to teams and volunteers on volunteering policy and process.

· Oversee the recruitment, induction and training of volunteers, working with the People Operations Officer, Senior Learning Officer and People Administrator, developing digital and in-person learning resources. This will include promoting volunteering opportunities internally and externally, ensuring clear and engaging communications.

· Develop recognition initiatives to ensure volunteers feel valued and connected, including campaigns such as Volunteers’ Week and Trustees’ Week, working alongside the Internal Communications Manager role.

· Support Volunteer Coordinators across teams with advice, training and problem-solving to ensure a consistently excellent volunteer experience.

· Ensure volunteering activity is safe and aligned with safeguarding, risk and data protection standards through ensuring policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with legislation.

You will be a key point of contact at RHS Garden Bridgewater who can confidently engage and steward a wide range of donors and stakeholders in the area around the garden. You will also lead on sharing information on activities at Bridgewater with the Development and Corporate Partnerships Department and support this wider team with fundraising activities in the Garden.

You will be happy to travel to our Head Office in Central London at least once a month as well as occasional visits to other RHS Gardens and Shows around the country.

About the Project

The National Lottery funded Meddwl Ymlaen Mind Our Future project is led by The Venture on behalf of the North East Wales partnership. The aim is to empower young people aged 11 to 24 to shape mental health services across Wrexham and Flintshire. Young people will co develop and influence policy, processes and services that affect their mental wellbeing.

Overview of the Role

A key part of the role is to lead and facilitate the Young Leaders Advisory Board (YLAB), made up of 11 to 24 year olds who guide the direction of the project. The post holder will support their leadership development, confidence and decision making.

The role also includes developing a strategy to recruit and engage more young people, delivering a calendar of youth led events, and ensuring young voices shape all aspects of the project. The officer will represent Mind Our Future in meetings with stakeholders and support young people recruited into paid roles within the project.

Main Duties

• Lead and facilitate the YLAB, plan and chair meetings, and support members to take an active leadership role.
• Recruit and engage a diverse group of young people to join the YLAB and ensure the group reflects the communities of Wrexham and Flintshire.
• Provide mentoring, coaching and personal development opportunities for young people involved.
• Co design project activities with young people, ensuring their voices guide decisions, planning and evaluation.
• Organise workshops, events and activities and ensure all logistics are managed effectively.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate project updates.
• Recruit and support young people in paid roles within the project, including training, mentoring and ongoing support.
• Act as the designated safeguarding lead for the project including implementing safeguarding procedures, providing guidance, and liaising with authorities when required.
• Contribute to overall project success through planning, evaluation and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

Essential
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Youth Work
• Clean UK driving licence
• Level 3 safeguarding children in Wales qualification
• Significant experience in a Safeguarding Lead or equivalent role

• Diploma or degree in mental health, particularly relating to children and young people
• Health and Safety training

About the Role

As a Children and Young Person Caseworker you will support of the development and implementation of the CYP Service Model for supporting children and young people who have been affected by crime. You will developing and deliver innovative interventions to address their needs and work closely with children and young people in the Service to involve them in service design, delivery and evaluation. You will manage a caseload of up to 30 cases.

• previous experience delivering services for children and young people
• knowledge of safeguarding issues relating to children and young people

A vital part of this work is our advice services – providing free and accessible debt, benefits, housing and immigration advice to local people. This work has grown over the last few years and we are now looking for an experienced and innovative advice worker, to provide debt advice within the service.
