The role
As Forward Action’s Partnerships Officer, you’ll support the Partnerships Director to build and maintain strong relationships with our partners, so we can help them achieve change on everything from climate change to refugee rights.
In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage the administration side of our partnerships, from initial contact and briefing, through proposal management, all the way to issuing contracts and drafting scopes. You’ll work across multiple projects and deadlines, managing processes, organising meetings, following up action points, and keeping accurate partnership records.
You’ll champion the partner experience and ensure we always deliver value. This includes meeting with organisations to explore their goals, and briefing colleagues on new partners’ needs. You’ll also lead on our marketing and webinar programme, coordinating plans and working with colleagues and freelancers to deliver outstanding content.

About you
You’ll have experience as an account manager or another relationship-based role in fundraising, events, sales or marketing. You might have worked in an agency or the NGO sector, but this isn’t essential.

You’ll also be proactive, process driven, and an excellent problem solver who’s always keen to improve the way we do things. Housing Plus is a small established organisation based in North West London providing supported accommodation for young people aged 16-18 in and leaving care. We have a small, dynamic and diverse staff team who provide support to our young people across three houses where they live while they are supported to develop the skills they need to leave care and live more independently.

The Welfare Adviser will provide high quality specialist welfare benefits and housing advice, information and guidance to our service users, referring them internally and externally for additional advocacy and support as required, following organisational policies and procedures, and ensuring fulfilment of regulatory compliance with our Advice Quality Standard (AQS) accreditation, meeting the standards of quality in the delivery of advice services as required. About this key role
As one of the Finance Assistants in the team, you will be responsible for providing day to day accounts and to process all transactions to Trial balance level. What we are looking for:
- Significant experience of working in a similar finance role, including producing financial claims, monitoring finances and reconciling payments against claims
- Experience of working with Sage Line 50 or similar finance accounts package
- Experience of operating office and information systems such as diaries, word processing, spreadsheet, e-mailing, information searching
- Knowledge of relevant computer packages such as Word, Excel, Access, Power point and Outlook, with a minimum of intermediate level in MS Excel and Word
- Able to demonstrate a significant level of financial literacy
- Excellent communication skills

About the role
We have an opportunity for a Safeguarding Officer to join our very busy team!
The organisation has a strong safeguarding ethos promoting the overall safety, safeguarding and welfare of all of our members. We are seeking individuals who have experience of the voluntary youth or community sector or other relevant professional field and have direct practice experience of working with children & young people in a safeguarding context. Your new role
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Director in a professional, responsible and timely manner;
- Manage enquiries to the team, being proactive and alert to the Senior Director's daily workload;
- Manage the Senior Director's diary, handling diary conflicts, and exercising sound judgement in prioritising appointments;
- Assist the Senior Director in managing their outlook inbox, responding to queries or actioning work in their absence (as required) and monitoring progress;
- Support timely and efficient distribution of papers, and other tasks required for meetings and decision-making;
- Book travel, accommodation, meeting rooms and refreshments as required; meet and greet external visitors;
- Assist the Senior Director in processing work expenses;
- Work closely with the Business Manager supporting with business and workforce planning and budgeting, recruitment, business continuity and establishment lists;
- To build influential relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders;
- Arranging team meetings, hybrid awaydays and scheduling agenda items; and supporting in the production of agendas and minutes;
- Provide support to both the management team and Project Directors as required;
- Providing cover for other PAs as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrable experience of excellent organisational and working in an administrative support capacity including, but not limited to, diary management, prioritising heavy workflow and working proactively in a busy environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience of contributing through working as part of a team and building relationships across departments, inside and outside the organisation, across varying levels of seniority.
- Experience of working collegiately at PA level and supporting senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral with experience of tailoring to the needs of different audiences and experience of representing organisations to stakeholders.
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Teams, Outlook, Word, SharePoint and Excel.

In this role you will provide administrative support to the Volunteering and Community Networks Department and Head of Volunteering and Community Networks.
You’ll be proactive and highly motivated. Attention to detail is essential as is the ability to plan and manage a busy and varied workload to provide support on various tasks.
You will contribute to the smooth running of the department through managing diaries, booking meetings and being responsible for departmental invoice processing.
As a part of the Volunteer Support Admin Team you will provide high quality support to our Community Networks volunteers based across the UK.
You will ensure that all volunteer enquiries are resolved promptly, that information provided to volunteers is aligned to our organisational positions and standards that relevant information is recorded and appropriate follow-up actions are completed.
Your insight will help inform our wider Community Networks team on volunteer priorities and issues.
