We're now looking for a Governance Administrator to join our team! You'll provide essential administrative support to our Governance Manager, board of Trustees and Executive Leadership Team.

What are we looking for?

Do you have a track record of delivering accurate, reliable, administrative and project support in a fast moving environment?
We are looking for someone with experience of working in a collaborative way to join the Marketing and Brand team as Project Administrator on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. You'll support the day-to-day running of the team by providing effective administration and project planning.
This role is varied and the successful postholder will be responsible for scheduling external and internal meetings, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, preparing reports, setting agendas and minute taking for meetings and financial administration. We are looking to recruit an outgoing and enthusiastic Supporter Care Administrator to join our fundraising team.
Supporter Care Administrator
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Rate: £27,300 per annum
Reporting to: Head of Individual Giving
Base: Hybrid working from Child Bereavement UK’s Offices in either Buckinghamshire or Cheshire and home
This is a full-time role which requires an experienced administrator with CRM experience (Raiser’s Edge) to work closely with the Head of Individual Giving, along with supporting the wider fundraising team.
The Supporter Care Administrator will:
- be responsible for the administration of voluntary income and volunteer administration, ensuring donations are efficiently and accurately identified, recorded and acknowledged, and for the day-to-day management of the volunteer database.
- have the ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- have good organizational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
- be professional and a hard-working team player who can remain calm under pressure.
- have excellent written, communication and IT skills along with experience of CRM databases.
- be the lead contact for the coordination of some database projects for the fundraising operation, such as the administration of gift aid claims and coordinating data relating to appeals or volunteers.
- support the fundraising team by providing other administrative support as required.

Location: Islington, London. We are currently trialling a hybrid working model to enjoy the benefits of both office based and remote working. The current expectation is for staff to work from the office in Islington at least 40% of their time. - Respond to customers on the Housing helpline, managing enquiries, raising contacts in a CRM database, with a view to tracking and tracing, follow up and offering excellent customer Service.

- Create new and amend existing third-party details and ensure the accuracy of recorded information
- Liaise with utility suppliers, Local Authorities, customers and colleagues to ensure accuracy of data, including meter readings, void and occupancy date for council tax.
- Provide supporting information to clarify property status and request amended accounts to reflect this.
- Where necessary, investigate and respond to enquiries, including account queries, this may include enquiries from contractors, suppliers and other third parties.
- Challenge where necessary, to ensure value for money and quality of service from suppliers.
- Manage meter move requests and arrange prompt payment whilst liaising with all involved parties.
- Take responsibility for the day to day processing of payments across the Business team to include all departmental accounting functions in relation to works orders, purchase and framework orders, credit notes and invoices across charity and administrative company accounts, with particular focus to void costs, within required timeframes and in line with Service Level Agreements.
- Produce data uploads for finance transactions, ensuring accuracy of data and sign off completed data.
- Working collaboratively alongside our Finance and Resources partners to ensure prompt payment and when required, investigate queries that arise.
- Escalate issues and problems to managers when necessary to ensure payments are made on time, thus avoiding late payment fees and charges.
- Where necessary, engage with suppliers, contractors and customers ensuring that information is clear, concise and understood to achieve resolution.
- Support the management of the legacy mortgage scheme, supporting the Business Services Team Leader and Business Administration Officer (Mortgages), providing clarity and support on a range of queries and tasks.
- Manage quinquennial inspections in line with stakeholder agreements, refunding customers and producing monthly update reports.
- Develop knowledge and skills on mortgage redemptions, working closely with solicitors and customers to progress and complete sales and redemptions promptly.
- To ensure that data held in QL / SAP is complete, accurate and reliable through regular assessment of data using analysis and cleansing where necessary and to take personal responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of data and recorded information across all business streams.
- Produce stakeholder reports, business reports and information to enable transparency across the business, in line with agreements and compliance.
- Data management and entry for key information relating to insurance revaluations, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure insurance values are periodically reviewed.
