Job Role:
The Forces Employment Charity offers a specialist programme developed to support veterans in the Justice System who may be vulnerable, socially isolated, or need support to live or maintain a law-abiding life.
Reporting to Op NOVA East England Regional Manager. The successful candidate will have experience in managing and supporting a caseload of vulnerable veterans in your allocated region.
This position is full-time, 35 hours per week with a salary of £28,325. The successful candidate will be based at home with regular travel within the region, (Kent & Sussex). This role consists of managing and supporting caseloads of vulnerable veterans in your allocated region.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Contact all clients within 48 hours of allocation
- Undertake face to face needs assessments and develop support plan within 5 days of allocation
- Provide peer support and practical experience to colleagues and clients
- Carry out an assessment using the Outcome Star, understand and record Employment and Housing status, and other assessments as required by the Regional Manager.
- Review assessments at 3 monthly intervals to understand and demonstrate progress.
- Work with and empower client to engage with the support plan and goals agreed during their needs assessment
- Produce written report when requested highlighting support given to client and level of engagement

Job Purpose
The purpose of the Programme Coordinator is co-ordinate with all parties (Community Engagement Manager, the Programme Manager, LMK Leaders and the host organisations) to enable LMK to deliver high quality workshops for young people/youth work professionals/workplaces.
Acting as the lynchpin of the organisation’s delivery team, the Programme Coordinator takes the workshop brief from the LMK Community Engagement Manager and then works with the Programme Manager to secure facilitators (LMK leaders), ensures the host organisation receives all supporting information, and provides LMK Leaders with the resources they need to deliver the workshop effectively. This role is also responsible for regular reporting about workshop bookings and delivery.
Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will be part of LMK’s core staff team. You will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders, members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our long-term strategy.
Key responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service to organisations who are hosting LMK workshops, ensuring that all communication is timely and accurate, and any questions are responded to in full.

The Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Team is looking for a Race Equity Officer to co-ordinate and support organisational-wide race equity workstreams and specialist projects included in our Achieving Race Equity Taskforce.
What's the role about
This is a key role working alongside our Project Manager and Senior Race Equity specialist to shape our ways of working to be more inclusive. This will include coordinating activities, supporting taskforce members, researching, create content and training materials with support.
The role would suit somebody with strong organisational and communication skills with a background in race equity work who wants to apply these skills in the conservation sector, or someone with demonstrable coordination/administration skills and EDI knowledge and experience that wants to step into the race equity space.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Experience of coordinating and synchronising resources and people, in the delivery of anti-racist or EDI related activities and events.
- Awareness of the intersectional impact of protected characteristics, the Equality Act 2010 and barriers to people of colour, disabled people and people in other protected groups at work.
- Experience of generating ideas that relate to EDI topics, creating short written or visual content, making information accessible to different audiences as a blog, video, infographic or other content formats.
- Strong administration and organisational skills, including the ability to manage data or records, manage own time and prioritise, create basic project plans and meet agreed deadlines.
- Experience of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and calendar or similar
- Strong IT skills across a range of software including knowledge or willingness to learn using SharePoint to a good standard.
- Experience of working with ethnically diverse groups or networks in a workplace or voluntary setting with a coproduction approach.
- Ability to recognise and communicate sensitive topics and consider how differences in background and experience might affect how this needs to be planned and delivered.
- Ability to work as part of a team to build trust and strong positive relationships with others, modelling compassion, active empathy and the values of the organisation.
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
- Experience of supporting behaviour change in large and complex settings.
- Experience of working with a Taskforce or group dedicated to achieving race equity or an EDI related area.
- Excellent knowledge of race equity/equality standards and policies, including best practises within the UK.
- Experience of responding to race equity/equality issues in the conservation sector.

You will be someone who is able to engage, motivate and work closely with diocesan staff, parish leaders and external partners to build strong relationships, foster a culture of sustainability, and develop a sense of momentum towards our aims of decarbonising our residential property portfolio and church buildings.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Influencing and supporting parishes to prepare and deliver their NZC action plans relating to their buildings.
· Support the Property Team to develop and implement a comprehensive NZC action plan for clergy housing.
· Developing relationships with technical specialists and potential funding agencies.
· Managing relationships and communications with a wide range of other stakeholders.
· Managing headline project data and tracking progress against the project delivery plan and providing regular, timely reports highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
· Ensuring all relevant risks are identified and mitigation actions are in place.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills include:
· Degree or equivalent (with a project management and/or a qualification relevant to NZC).

· Experience of delivering clear written communication across a range of formats.
· Up-to-date knowledge of environmental and climate change issues.

About you
To thrive in this role, you will have relevant experience of supporting adults, families and children/young people. You will be able to take a flexible and creative approach to problem solving. Due to the remote working nature of the role, you will have excellent communication skills to identify and assess the service user’s needs and work alongside them to develop their personal support plan.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong proficiency in Microsoft Teams and a broad computer literacy that includes the ability to work across multiple applications simultaneously. Confidence in recording data into an electronic information management system is essential, as is the capacity to rapidly acquire new software and application skills. The ability to plan and manage your own workload with minimal supervision is a key requirement for this role. Prior experience in using other Microsoft Office 365 applications to a high standard will be advantageous.
It would be advantageous if you have experience of carrying out assessments, preparing plans, monitoring and reviewing outcomes.
This role is homebased in the UK, you must live in the UK to be eligible. There will be some travel required and therefore you will need to be able to drive and have access to your own car.

Fusion Maidstone is a health & wellbeing charity based in Park Wood. We opened our doors in 2003 and set about developing programmes, activities and services to address the changing needs of the residents of Park Wood with a strong focus on addressing health inequalities. Fusion works in the community to offer assistance in four key areas Public Health, Food/Food Poverty, Social Inclusion, Mental Health. Services are either delivered directly by Fusion or by a network of partner agencies. We bring services to local people thereby removing barriers to engagement.
Park Wood Connects Project
Courtesy of the National Lottery Community Fund Fusion Maidstone are able to launch their Park Wood Connects project which is a three year engagement and support initiative co-designed with the local community to support people struggling with the combined effects of the cost-of-living crisis, the mental health crisis, and high levels of social isolation/loneliness in one of the South East’s most deprived communities. To address the growing numbers of vulnerable local residents we propose to do two things through the Park Wood Connects project:
- Reach out better across the community to make more people aware that we and our partners are here to help.
- Make more services available locally by encouraging more people and organisations to begin delivering support locally.
About the Community Outreach Worker Role
Fusion is employing a Community Outreach Worker who has a great sense of community and customer service, enjoys working in an outreach environment and who is looking to make a positive difference to the local community.

Organise and deliver 4 community engagement events each year of the project.
Organise and deliver a minimum of 12 drop in surgeries each year of the project in various locations.
Assisted by the Community Project Coordinator attend regular stakeholder steering group meetings
