We’re seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to support a global network of 34 Chapters committed to mobilising board directors to take action on climate change. As part of the Engagement team, you’ll work closely with Chapter leaders across the globe to build strong relationships and facilitate knowledge sharing. You’ll also play a key role in supporting events, strengthening peer learning across the network, and contributing to the long-term success of our 2025–2030 strategy.

Note: The role is hybrid, and the postholder is expected to be in Cambridge, UK for 2-3 days a week. 

FareShare GM redistributed an amazing 1,929 tonnes of surplus food to 306 community groups, supplying 4.6 million meals to those in need in 2023/24.  In June 2025, we distributed 207 tonnes of food or the equivalent of 494,680 meals to our beneficiaries. 

Working with FareShare UK, we help unlock good food from a wide variety of national and local food suppliers, food that otherwise would have gone in the bin.  We support diverse groups including those catering to the elderly, young families, the BAME community, disabled individuals and those facing homelessness or other forms of poverty.

It’s a busy operation with a lot of moving parts: you’ll take ownership for the smooth running of the Allocations office, supervising the safe distribution of surplus food to our Community Food Members by staff and volunteers.  By working closely with the Warehouse team and delivery drivers, you’ll help ensure timely, accurate and food safe compliant deliveries and collections, optimising our income whilst minimising food waste.

To be a success in this role, you’ll need to have experience in a busy office or operational environment, great communication skills, and experience supervising and motivating staff.  You can adapt to regularly changing priorities, are happy to get involved where needed and constantly review daily targets to keep the team on track.  Ideally you’ll have some experience with volunteers (or have volunteering experience yourself), and/or in the not for profit sector working with disadvantaged groups.

This is an exciting new role to head up DanceSyndrome’s Community work across Lancashire developing, nurturing, growing, and managing our community workshops. At the heart of our organisation are our weekly bespoke Community Inclusive Dance Workshops; ‘Everybody Dance’. As an ISVA within The Angelou Centre you will be part of our front-line team providing emotional and trauma informed support to women and children experiencing gender based domestic abuse.  The primary responsibility of all advocates within The Angelou is to provide women and children with continuous one-to-one support, practical advice and advocacy, such as writing referrals for women to access the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC). Much of this work takes the form of casework, and report writing, as well as ensuring that the women receive comprehensive support that addresses their health, social care, housing, immigration and benefit-related needs. All advocates are required to spent at least 30% of your time will be spent on outreach work to engage with communities that may not have heard of The Angelou Centre.

Specific to the ISVA role, is to provide tailored support, advice and advocacy to women who are or have been victims of sexual abuse and exploitation. Alongside this you will support The Angelou Centre in raising awareness of sexual education through outreach activities, ensuring services are accessible to women of the Black and racialised community. 

Our ideal candidate is someone who;

• Is confident and pro-active in advocating on behalf of our survivors and able to represent their needs when working with partner agencies
• Is compassionate, non-judgmental and committed to supporting survivors of domestic abuse
• Has excellent written skills with some experience of casework within legal, healthcare or an educational setting.
• Has experience of conducting risk and needs assessments within legal, healthcare or an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

Advice and Advocacy Support

• Provide tailored, one-to-one continuous support, advice, and advocacy to black and minoritised victims and survivors of sexual violence and exploitation
• Provide weekly drop-in opportunities for black and racially minoritized women in the local area
• Support improved mental wellbeing and resilience, measured using Warwick Edinburgh Mental Well Being Scale and the Chaos Index for those with complex needs.
• To be aware of external service processes to safeguard individuals who are exposed to sexual exploitation.

Outreach Support

• To attend external team meetings and presentations in relevant forums and partnerships
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with key organisations and their staff to support women to gain access to the services they require.

Casework

• Complete regular risk assessment tools for each case supported and risk management plans, including DASH RIC assessments.
• Complete reports, to assist Line Manager in providing detailed reports to funders
• Maintain in depth and up-to-date knowledge of all practice, procedures and policies.
• To deal with complaints, feedback and suggestions and identifying practical solutions to any barriers.

 ISVA Specific

• To set up and maintain services to women in custody who are experiencing and/or are at risk of Sexual exploitation.
• To develop specialist knowledge in the area of sex work and sexual exploitation, and how this impacts women from Black and racialized minorities differently, through attendance at relevant training, learning events and conferences
• Raise awareness on sexual education through outreach activities, ensuring services are accessible to those with protected characteristics and/or facing multiple disadvantages.
• Help improve local services understanding of the dynamics of sexual exploitation and the long-term impact.
• Support police when undertaking visits to brothels to assist with safeguarding women who are experiencing Sexual exploitation.

In order to deliver services effectively, a degree of flexibility is required and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above. Such duties however, will fall within the scope of the job at the appropriate grade. About the Role

As a Support Worker in a Semi-Independent Home, you will have the opportunity of developing authentic relationships with our young people (aged 16 – 21 years old), you will also have responsibility for making sure our residents are safe, providing support, liaison with other professionals and completion of support documents to record information. Throughout the shift you will have the additional support of an on call manager should you have any questions. Further to this, you will be involved in team meetings monthly and will also receive monthly supervision.

Working Hours

Our young people need care 24/7 so we have fixed rotas with different shifts (8, 10 and 12 hours) from 8 am to 10 pm for day staff; and from 9 pm to 8.30 am for night staff.

On average, you will be working 40 hours a week, so meaning if you work 4 shifts of 10 hours each, you will then get 3 days off.

There is always the possibility to do overtime if you need a bit extra, this is paid time and half same as bank holidays.

Recruitment Process

This is a high impact senior leadership role with strategic responsibility for influencing Westminster government, industry, and media. We’re looking for a confident strategic thinker and values- led leader, someone who brings clarity, compassion and credibility in equal measure.​

• We’re open to how this contract is worked, our full time hours are 35 hours per week, but we are passionate about flexible working, and would support you to work part time, talk to us about your preferences.

Why This Role?

As a senior clinician, you’ll take the lead in delivering a first-class OT service – offering assessment, intervention, consultancy, training, and support to pupils, school staff, and families. You’ll work autonomously but collaboratively, helping pupils thrive across Universal, Targeted and Specialist levels of need.

You’ll also supervise and mentor junior colleagues, drive service innovation, and lead on a clinical specialism such as Sensory Integration, Handwriting.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver high-quality OT interventions across schools in Liverpool
• Lead on a specialist clinical area and help shape local therapy policy and systems
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior OT colleagues
• Provide consultancy and training for school staff, parents, and carers
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team (SLTs, advisory teachers, psychologists, PBS practitioners, and more)
• Liaise with stakeholders and commissioners, contributing to service evaluation and reports
• Ensure safe, evidence-based practice aligned with RCOT, HCPC, and safeguarding standards
• Evaluate outcomes and use data to inform service improvement
• Maintain clinical records and documentation in line with GDPR and professional guidance

What We’re Looking For:

? Qualifications:

• Degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant area (occupational therapy, specific area of provision)
• Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT)
• Evidence of post-graduate training in relevant specialisms (e.g. sensory integration, mental health, handwriting)

? Experience:

• Significant post-qualification OT experience, particularly in mainstream school settings
• Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs, including learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Conditions
• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience delivering training and consultancy to parents and school staff
• Experience in clinical supervision and service development
• Familiarity with relevant outcome measurement tools and assessments

? Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy models, relevant assessments, and embedding therapy into learning
• Understanding of clinical governance and safeguarding for vulnerable young people
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work flexibly, independently, and manage a varied caseload
• Reflective, innovative thinker with excellent organisational skills
