Role Overview
The EA support’s the International CEO (ICEO). The ICEO holds overall responsibility for the global ministry, including all aspects of strategy and operations across multiple regions. The EA’s role will be pivotal in providing high-level administrative support to the ICEO, ensuring the smooth operation of their daily activities.
The EA needs to be a follower of Jesus and in good standing in their local Church. This role demands someone who can handle a wide range of administrative tasks with discretion, confidentiality and grace, while effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements

About the role:
When a family member sustains a spinal cord injury it is a life changing experience for the whole family. They can feel very isolated and that no one understands what they’re going through.
Back Up’s Family Support Service is there to help. We enable a wide range of family members of all ages whose loved one is affected by spinal cord injury (SCI) to improve their wellbeing, build a support network and transform their lives through Back Up’s services.
The Family Support Coordinator will assist in supporting family members on an individual basis as well as in group settings as appropriate, together with providing support in the process of identifying, recruiting and training new family support volunteers.
A Family Support Coordinator will be comfortable and efficient with data management and GDPR compliance.
Lived experience of having a relative with SCI is essential, together with sharing our commitment to transform the lives of everyone affected by spinal cord injury.

Westway Trust are seeking experienced and committed Adult Learning Tutors - Digital Skills to join their expanding tutor team. Purpose of the role:
Working alongside the Director of Programmes and wider programmes team, the successful candidate will ensure that the collective knowledge and skills of both our national nurse network and our flagship Better at Home suites are embedded into the Charity’s strategy and activities. WellChild currently have over 50 nurse posts across the UK and 13 Better at Home training facilities. The successful delivery of these programmes is integral to the charity and ensures that children with complex health needs and their families can access specialist support in their area when they need it. This is a key role within the WellChild team which is responsible for the day-to-day delivery and management of agreed projects within WellChild’s charitable programmes. With the support of the team, you will be able to operate under a high level of autonomy to deliver on these organisational charitable objectives and be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders, including health professionals to maximise the outcomes for children with complex health needs and their families.

Job Purpose

About us
Universal Credit (UC) is the fastest growing advice issue for the Citizens Advice service and improving the support available to people making a claim is vital. Our Help to Claim service guides people through the claims process - this will include identifying suitability, helping clients to start their claim and providing support to their first payment.
Citizens Advice Liverpool is looking to recruit Help to Claim advisers with knowledge and experience of welfare benefits to join their team.
The successful candidates will provide end to end telephone and web chat support for new Universal Credit claimants. Your understanding of legacy benefits will enable you to check whether a client would be better off on Universal Credit. You will also be able to identify clients who due to transition to Universal Credit via Managed Migration and support them through the process and application. You will be confident in your ICT skills to support clients in making their claim.
You’ll have the ability to interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to get to the root of the issues and empower clients, whilst maintaining structure and control of meetings, as well as a commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice Service.
About the Role
Advice Giving
- Provide advice through telephone and webchat
- Interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow clients to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities
- Supporting clients to use ICT to make their new Universal Credit claim
- Use Citizens Advice resources to find, interpret and communicate the relevant information to clients
- Complete benefits checks when appropriate
- Research and explore options and implications so that clients can make informed decisions.
- Act for the client where necessary using appropriate communication skills and channels.

Requirements
- Recent knowledge and experience of the benefits systems, including experience of carrying out accurate benefit check calculations in a professional setting
- Basic knowledge of multiple enquiry areas to aid with identifying emergencies and making referrals where appropriate

Read for Good’s Grants and Trusts Manager leads on securing high-value income for the national charity from trusts and foundations, typically securing one-off and multi-year grants in the five- to six-figure range. You will research and cultivate prospective funders, produce compelling, tailored proposals, programme reports and manage a strong pipeline of funding opportunities. You will also develop and steward long-term funding relationships that align with our mission and strategy, building on our well established and robust pipeline. Key responsibilities
Income Generation and Fundraising
- Research and develop a strong pipeline of new and existing high-value trusts and grant-making prospects (typically five- and six-figure applications).

We are looking for someone to join our Mental Health Floating Support Team as a Floating Support Worker. Working across North and East Bristol you will be joining a team busy developing a ‘Help When You Need It’ approach, providing time limited key working support to clients from 3 months up to a year at a time.
In the role of Floating Support Worker, you will work 9-5 hours Monday Friday; working with clients in the community and in their own homes:
- Manage a case load of around 16 clients, ensuring that each client is provided with person centred support and is empowered to be active in their community, with strong support networks to support ongoing recovery.
- Working with clients to create person centred support plans.
- Providing advice and support to clients so ensure they can access health care to improve mental and physical health; manage their benefits, sustain housing, build a home; and have access work, training and other opportunities.
- Build effective relationships with a variety of internal and external people to ensure clients have access to the support they need.
