Lamp, an established Community Mental Health Advocacy charity, is seeking to appoint a Head of Advocacy and Support.
Earlier this year we received confirmation of a three-year funding agreement from the National Lottery Community Fund to provide our community mental health advocacy service across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
We are looking for an inspiring, highly committed individual to lead the delivery of this service, lead the development of new services through which to support the people in our community, and as a member of the charity’s Leadership Team, play an active role in further growing our role in the community.
To do this you will lead a small team comprising of Community Mental Health Advocates and Information and Advice Officers. You will be instrumental in shaping how the team delivers services, piloting new ideas and projects, and generating new opportunities to develop advocacy and mental health support.

About the opportunity
As our Digital Marketing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Marketing Manager and broader team in volunteer and school recruitment efforts, while managing our social media presence. Duties and responsibilities
• Responsibility for managing Action Tutoring’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube). - Streamline internal project communications with the partner cohort and other key stakeholders to enhance efficiency and clarity of messaging.

Camphill Village Trust is a UK charity that supports over 600 adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, and complex needs across nine communities and services in England through supported living and day placement opportunities.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of the Policy and Public Affairs team, during an election year, delivering a number of vital pieces of research designed to improve walking, wheeling and cycling and transport more broadly.
As the Policy Officer, you will lead on delivering two key policy projects for Sustrans with support from our Head of Policy and Senior Policy Officer. You will help develop evidence, policy and practice working closely with colleagues to maximise long-term opportunities to help increase transport choice for people.
We offer true hybrid working, a flexible mix of working from home and occasional travel to a nearby office hub with an expectation of a monthly team meeting in Bristol and occasional travel for project related activity.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
About you
You should have proven experience of conducting qualitative and quantitative research across a variety of issues and in writing for policy and public audiences.
We also ask that you are experienced in working autonomously but also as part of a team and with funders, partners and agencies to deliver work.
You will be skilled in presenting arguments and clearly communicating complex information to a range of audiences in an accessible and persuasive way, in person and in writing.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Event Organiser & Fundraiser to become part of the ambitious Events Team at LOROS. As Mass Participation Events Officer, you will line manage an Event Coordinator, and together take the lead on some of our biggest and most well-attended events, including the LOROS Twilight Walk, the Rothley 10K, LOROS’ Charity Bike Ride, our Hospice Open Day, and be significant drivers behind The Run Leicester Festival.
You will be commercially minded; bringing fresh ideas to our established LOROS events and campaigns in order to help increase profit, as well as championing the participant experience to ensure that people spread the word and come back year on year. - Engage with local healthcare professionals and community groups to identify ways of ensuring Nature Prescriptions reach a large diversity of people
- Co-design Nature Prescriptions materials with local people, community groups and healthcare professionals
- Facilitate nature connection workshops to improve the knowledge, skills and confidence of people who will be delivering Nature Prescriptions
- Develop a project plan for the delivery of Nature Prescriptions and follow project management principles to ensure a successful delivery of agreed outcomes
- Tap into local environmental networks to build a picture of nature based activities available and identify opportunities for partnership working
- Explore and contribute to the evaluation of the project, including data gathering and collecting case studies from project partners
- Represent the RSPB on relevant local health and wellbeing networks
- Build internal relationships with RSPB employees and volunteers working within the West Midlands and beyond
- Further develop our Nature and Wellbeing Sharepoint site to provide people across the RSPB access to our latest materials
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Skilled in delivering nature connection workshops or training

- Experience of developing external partnerships and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders

About the role
This is an exciting time to join Young Lives vs Cancer as we set up a new Brand Marketing and Communications function including a team of digital experts.
As the Digital Product Officer, you will support the ongoing development and management of the organisation’s website. Help to manage the process for reporting, testing and deploying updates to the functionality. Improve the processes around the creation of content on the website and help manage the back end of the CMS to ensure it is clear and functional.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
• Experience of developing and maintaining a website to deliver excellent user journeys that meets the needs of our audience
• The ability to manage stakeholders to capture requirements, partnering with teams and offering advice and technical expertise to shape our development needs
• An understanding of the back end of the CMS to create content, build forms, use third party plugins and identify bugs
• Experience or understanding of the processes required for developing and updating content on the website. This includes effective management of the site structure and archiving processes for old content.
