Interim Director of Finance & Resources
My client is a leading UK charity, providing a range of critical services and practical support to people looking to rebuild their lives.
At present they are going through a major business wide transformation programme and are looking to appoint an interim Director of Finance & Resources who can lead on the change programmes within their areas.
Key responsibilities & objectives:
- As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, support the charity in executing its strategic plan and ongoing transformation programme, driving changes needed for the development of the organisation.
- Oversee a diverse corporate service function including finance, IT, data and risk management through a period of transformation.
- Provide strategic leadership to the implementation of new finance and HR systems, including the review of processes and work patterns.
- Promote a new agile, can-do working culture, transforming back office functions into true business partners for the organisation.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant and have previous experience of working at board level within the charity sector. You will have a track record of managing different disciplines outside of finance (notably HR and IT) and be experienced in change management. You will be an empowering leader with strong coaching skills, and the ability to develop and inspire others.
My client offers flexible hybrid working practices and this role has been deemed inside of IR35.
