We're looking for a strategic and relationship-focused fundraiser with experience leading complex, high-value fundraising campaigns. You'll be equally confident working with major donors, senior colleagues, Trustees and volunteer leaders. You'll combine excellent judgement with strong planning skills, bringing together people, resources and fundraising strategy to deliver ambitious campaign goals.

While initially focused on The Art Works, you will have a longer-term remit to help shape future capital fundraising priorities that emerge from our strategic ambitions. You’ll personally progress high-value donor relationships while ensuring fundraising campaigns are strategically structured, insight-led, appropriately resourced and effectively delivered.

You'll help broaden our philanthropic reach by expanding a strong and diverse prospect base across local, national and international audiences. This includes developing approaches to high-value and discreet funders and making the best use of senior volunteers and networks.

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will:

• Provide excellent strategic management of capital fundraising campaigns across the organisation, with an immediate focus on The Art Works as well as responsibility for supporting the planning and delivery of future campaigns, including the Mound Level Galleries redevelopment and other major capital priorities.
• Contribute to the development of long-term capital fundraising strategies, campaign plans and prospect pipelines to support future organisational priorities beyond The Art Works, ensuring continuity of donor engagement and campaign readiness.
• Translate campaign strategy, timelines and gift table requirements into clear delivery plans and actions across teams.
• Monitor progress toward income and activity targets, identify variances early and recommend tactical adjustments based on internal insight and external conditions.
• Lead the development and maintenance of campaign reporting, including dashboards, risk logs, income phasing and governance papers.
• Engage directly with major donors, trusts and foundations to cultivate, solicit and steward high-value gifts, working with senior colleagues, Trustees and Campaign Board members as appropriate to maximise outcomes.
• Oversee and direct cultivation and stewardship activity across the capital campaigns team, ensuring delivery of agreed fundraising strategies and a structured and strategic approach to progressing prospects and delivering income targets, while working closely with the wider Development team to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to donor engagement.
• Expand the philanthropic prospect base by identifying new opportunities and supporting approaches to high‑value or discreet funders.
• Oversee the preparation of high‑quality briefings, materials and follow‑up for senior‑level donor meetings and solicitations.
• Coordinate all donor hospitality activity for the campaign, liaising with colleagues across the Development team and other teams as required, including events, briefings, site visits and other cultivation opportunities.
• Lead the implementation of donor recognition and stewardship frameworks, ensuring consistent, high‑quality supporter experiences.
• Ensure operational readiness for the public phase of the campaign, coordinating colleagues across Development, Communications and Visitor Experience to create effective giving pathways and engagement opportunities.
• Provide day‑to‑day direction to the Development Manager – Capital Campaigns; the Campaigns Coordinator and other team members (to be brought in on a temporary basis as required at key campaign stages) to support high standards of documentation, planning and internal communication.
• Promote collaborative, inclusive working practices across the team and wider organisation.

Who we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following range of knowledge, skills, and experience:

• Significant leadership experience in capital or multi‑year fundraising campaigns with £multi-million targets.
• Experience of developing and sustaining a portfolio of high net worth prospects at 5, 6 and 7-figure levels including discreet and invite-only funders.
• Experience modelling and managing fundraising cash flow, campaign pacing and income phasing across multiple fundraising priorities, ensuring alignment with organisational and project delivery requirements.
• Ability to expand donor networks at local, national, and international level.
• Strong presentation and writing skills, with the ability to influence, articulate complex ideas and inspire support.
• Experience planning and delivering high‑quality cultivation events and donor engagements.
• Strong understanding of fundraising sector trends, major donor behaviour and the philanthropic landscape.
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders, including Directors, Trustees, volunteer fundraising campaign board members and other high‑level advocates.
• Strong knowledge of UK charitable giving and tax considerations relevant to fundraising.
• Highly motivated, with the ability to act on initiative while exercising good judgement about when to involve others.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with confidence interpreting financial, pipeline and performance data.
• Experience using CRM/database systems such as Spektrix or similar.

• Experience of fundraising for multiple capital projects and transitioning donor relationships between successive major campaigns. Knowledge of the arts, culture, heritage, community engagement or education sectors.

Purpose of the role

The Project Manager will lead the delivery of MindOut's National Lottery Heritage Fund project, Speaking Our Minds: MindOut 25+ Years and LGBTQ Mental Health, an innovative 18-month heritage programme documenting, preserving and sharing over 25 years of LGBTQ mental health history.

Working with LGBTQ communities, volunteers, staff, former service users, heritage partners and community organisations, the postholder will oversee all aspects of project planning, delivery, evaluation and legacy. This includes oral history collection, digital archiving, volunteer management, community engagement, public exhibitions and dissemination activities.

The Project Manager will ensure the project is delivered safely, ethically and inclusively whilst meeting all National Lottery Heritage Fund outcomes, budgets, milestones and reporting requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a significant LGBTQ heritage project that will create a lasting record of community resilience, mental health activism, peer support and social change.

Role description

You will bring the experience, confidence, organisational skills and values required to lead a complex community heritage programme involving lived experience storytelling, volunteer participation, community partnerships and public engagement.

Main Tasks

Project Management

· Manage the set up and delivery of a new Speaking Our Minds project in a medium-size charity.

· Develop and maintain detailed work plans, project timelines, budgets, risk management and ensure milestones and National Lottery Heritage Fund requirements are met.

· Provide regular progress reports in line with project timeline, budgets and outcomes for the Charity Director

· Ensure all project activity is delivered in accordance with MindOut's organisational policies.

Community Participation & Co-production

· Establish and facilitate a Community Advisory Group to guide project development and decision-making.

· Design and deliver co-production workshops, reflection sessions and community consultation activities centring values such as co-production, lived experience and trauma aware with diverse participation and inclusion.

Oral History & Heritage Collection

· Lead the collection of a minimum of 25 oral histories documenting LGBTQ mental health heritage.

· Ensure interviews are conducted ethically and in accordance with Oral History Society guidance and project protocols.

· Coordinate transcription, metadata creation, cataloguing and archive preparation.

· Oversee collection of photographs, documents, memorabilia and contextual materials that support interpretation of MindOut's history.

· Ensure safeguarding, consent and ethical storytelling principles are followed throughout the collection process.

Volunteer Recruitment & Management

· Recruit, train, supervise and support project volunteers.

· Develop clear volunteer roles and learning opportunities.

· Coordinate volunteer involvement in oral history, outreach, events and heritage activities.

· Ensure volunteers receive appropriate induction, support and supervision.

· Create an inclusive and positive volunteering experience that builds skills and confidence.

Heritage Preservation & Digital Archiving

· Work with Queer Heritage South, The Keep and other partners to ensure heritage materials are preserved to recognised standards.

· Oversee processes for cataloguing, digital storage and archival preparation.

· Ensure heritage materials are managed according to agreed metadata, accessibility and licensing requirements.

· Support the creation of sustainable heritage systems and organisational learning that continue beyond the project lifespan.

· Contribute to the development of MindOut's long-term heritage strategy and legacy planning.

Events, Exhibitions & Public Engagement

· Deliver a programme of public engagement activities and community events.

· Coordinate the development of exhibitions, digital outputs and learning resources.

· Work collaboratively with partners including Photoworks and heritage organisations.

· Support communications and promotional activity alongside the Communications Co-ordinator.

· Ensure all events are well planned, accessible and effectively evaluated.

Partnership Development

· Build and maintain strong relationships with heritage organisations, archives, universities, community groups and cultural partners.

· Act as the principal contact for external project partners and commissioned specialists.

· Represent MindOut at meetings, conferences and partnership events.

· Develop opportunities for future collaboration and sustainability beyond the funded project period.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

· Maintain project monitoring systems and data collection processes.

· Work with the external evaluator to assess outcomes and impact.

· Produce regular reports for the Charity Director, Trustees, Advisory Group and funders.

· Monitor budgets, risks and project performance.

· Ensure learning and evaluation are embedded throughout the project lifecycle.

DreamArts fuses arts and therapeutic practice to support wellbeing. Our acclaimed EXPERIMENT Juniors programme engages 6-12 year olds to explore and unleash their talents, try things out, express themselves and grow their skills.

Participants take control and create their own original work, from musicals to collaborating with companies such as Les Enfants Terribles. 

EXPERIMENT takes place on a Saturday in South Westminster and on Sundays in Church Street plus some special projects during school holidays. The majority of participants are eligible for free school meals and live in some of London’s most deprived areas.  

We are looking for a Wellbeing Practitioner for our Sunday group who is able to inspire and support young people, in particular those who may struggle in group settings. You must be passionate about engaging participants from marginalised communities and committed to support wellbeing through the arts. You will help young people participate in creative sessions that provide opportunities to explore their challenges, build a sense of belonging with peers and strengthen their emotional wellbeing.

Working alongside creative facilitators, the Wellbeing Practitioner will focus on identifying and removing barriers to participation, identifying appropriate support that responds to emerging needs and creates a sense of community.

In our last staff satisfaction survey 100% of team members felt inspired at DreamArts to do their best at their job, and 100% said that their voice and skills matter at DreamArts. 

We believe young people benefit from seeing a diverse range of positive adult role models. INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE

iniva is seeking an experienced, thoughtful and collaborative Website & Communications Manager to join our team at a pivotal moment for the organisation. The role sits at the heart of Living Legacies: Collaboration, Community and Radicality, a four-year National Lottery Heritage Fund project that activates iniva’s archive and connects it with communities through exhibitions, events, podcasts, oral histories and digital resources. Working at iniva is dynamic, creative and purpose driven. As a small organisation, we value people who can work confidently on their own initiative while collaborating closely with colleagues, freelancers and partners. This part-time role (3 days per week) is offered as a fixed-term contract over four years, with responsibilities evolving across the project lifecycle — from strategy and planning in the early stages to website redevelopment, major public programmes and legacy outputs in later phases. The Website & Communications Manager will work closely with the Project Manager and wider team to support clear communication, shared understanding and joined-up audience engagement. The role plays a key part in shaping how audiences encounter Living Legacies and iniva more broadly, ensuring communications are inclusive, accessible and grounded in the organisation’s values. We’re looking for someone who cares about creating more equitable cultural spaces and enjoys sharing stories that connect artists, archives, and communities.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

This role would suit a practical and organised communications professional with strong writing and digital skills. You will be a confident and clear communicator, able to produce engaging, accessible content for a range of audiences across web, email and social media. You will have experience working with websites, including contributing to or supporting a WordPress (or similar CMS) website redevelopment, and be comfortable collaborating with website developers to deliver user-friendly, accessible digital experiences. You will bring the ability to plan and coordinate work across multiple projects, managing timelines, contributors and priorities effectively. Experience supporting or overseeing freelancers such as PR consultants, graphic designers, photographers, videographers etc or external partners is helpful, alongside a collaborative approach and good organisational skills. We are particularly interested in candidates who bring transferable skills from other sectors, along with curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn. Role Purpose

The Website & Communications Manager will lead iniva’s communications for a four-year fixed-term
project (3 days per week), with responsibilities evolving across the project — from setting up systems
and plans in Year 1 to delivering public activity, website redevelopment and legacy outputs in later
phases.

Focusing on Living Legacies, the postholder will lead communications activity to grow and diversify
audiences while maintaining strong engagement with existing audiences. They will manage a small
communications team, including the Communications Coordinator, and coordinate different
freelancers over the life of the project, such as a PR Consultant, Website Developer and Podcast
Producer to deliver clear, consistent and values-led communication across the organisation.
Working closely with a freelance Website Developer and internal teams, the postholder will oversee
the redevelopment of iniva’s website, ensuring it is accessible, user-friendly and supports the
project’s digital content and long-term needs. They will also work collaboratively with the Senior
Fundraising Manager, Project Manager and Project Curator to ensure joined-up, timely storytelling that
reflects the aims of the project and supports audience engagement.

Project Specific Duties

The duties below reflect the role across its four-year term. Activity in Years 1–2 will focus on
communications planning, audience development, team coordination and early digital work. Website
redevelopment (Years 2–3) and press activity for exhibitions (Years 3–4) will increase in later phases.
Not all responsibilities will be active at the same time.

Communications Strategy, Planning and Audience Development

• To review, refine and deliver the Living Legacies Communications Plan in collaboration with the wider project team, ensuring alignment with audience development goals, legacy planning and funder expectations.
• To lead audience development activity for Living Legacies, balancing growth and diversification with the retention of iniva’s existing audiences.
• To ensure consistent application of iniva and Living Legacies brand, tone of voice and values across all communications outputs.
• To establish and maintain communications systems, workflows and standards to support effective delivery across the team and with external contributors.
• To manage marketing, communications and documentation budgets ensuring activity is delivered within agreed resources for the organisation.

Website Redevelopment & Digital Experience

• To provide oversight of the redevelopment of iniva’s website (2027-2028), working closely with the Website Developer and internal stakeholders to ensure the site meets accessibility standards, audience engagement objectives and digital preservation needs.
• To manage the Website Developer and relevant budget lines to deliver a user-friendly, accessible website that supports archival access, digital outputs and the wider public programme.
• To ensure the website reflects the interpretive aims of Living Legacies and supports long-term access to project outputs, including oral histories, exhibitions and archival content.
• To gather and commission content from project partners and programme leads to ensure inclusive, participant-led storytelling is reflected across digital platforms.

Content, Campaigns & Creative Management

•  To oversee the creation, scheduling and publication of engaging digital content for Living Legacies, working with the Communications Coordinator across social media, email newsletters and website updates to raise awareness of the project, grow and engage existing and new audiences, and share stories, opportunities and project milestones.
• To commission and manage promotional materials, including digital and print assets, working with graphic designers, photographers, videographers and other freelance creatives to create compelling content that reflects the project's values and reaches diverse audiences.
•  To provide clear briefs, quality control and sign-off for commissioned content, ensuring outputs are on brand, accessible, high quality and delivered on schedule, and support meaningful engagement with participants, partners and audiences.
• To coordinate the promotion of project events and exhibitions, including digital and print listings, invitations, ticketing and on-site communications logistics, helping to maximise attendance, participation and the visibility of Living Legacies across communities and partner networks.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

• To oversee monitoring and evaluation of communications activity for Living Legacies, drawing on digital engagement data across web, email and social media platforms to understand audience reach, engagement and impact.
• To lead on communications-related reporting for senior management, the Board and funders, working with the Communications Coordinator to collate insights, data and evidence that demonstrate impact, learning and audience development.
• To use evaluation findings to inform ongoing communications strategy, audience development activity and project learning.

Collaboration & Internal Coordination

• To work collaboratively with the Project Manager, Project Curator, Senior Fundraising Manager and wider iniva team to ensure consistent messaging, joined-up communications and coordinated project delivery across all strands.
• To support shared understanding of communications priorities across exhibitions, podcasts, oral histories and community engagement activity, ensuring coherence of messaging and audience experience.
• To contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing, collective responsibility and values-led working across the organisation.

Press & Public Relations

•  To provide oversight and be the main point of contact for press and media activity for LivingLegacies, setting priorities, approving messaging and coordinating delivery with the Freelance PR Consultant, annually for three major project exhibitions and public programme (2027-2030).
• Liaise with external PR consultants to support programme promotion, ensuring assets and information are shared accurately and on time.
• To support the development and approval of press materials, including press releases and image assets, ensuring clarity, consistency and alignment with project messaging and organisational values.
• To oversee media listings, press scheduling and coverage tracking, using insights to inform future communications planning in consultation with the PR Consultant.
• To ensure compliance with funder branding and visibility requirements, including National Lottery Heritage Fund acknowledgement guidelines.

Role Description

Working closely with colleagues and project partners, the Volunteer Manager will lead the recruitment, training, development and management of volunteers across the Cathedral and Abbey site as part of the Abbey of St Edmund Reborn project, funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

As the Facilities Officer at Southwark Cathedral, you will work as a key part of the Property team – co-responsible for the set-up and maintenance of spaces such as the Cathedral’s conference rooms and for health, safety and security on site. Working closely with the Head of Property, Facilities Manager and other members of the Property team and Verger team, you will be at the forefront of making the Cathedral site safe, tidy, functional and sustainable.

Security, Health and Safety

• Remain vigilant at all times for the security of the Cathedral premises; 
• Check that public areas and working areas and practices are kept safe and free from trip, slip and other hazards; 
• Take action when needed to implement emergency procedures;

Conference Rooms
