A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant with a hospice on a permanent, part-time (4 days per week) basis. As Management Accountant you will play a key role in supporting financial decision-making across the charity. You will be responsible for producing accurate and timely management accounts, analysing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with charity-specific financial regulations and reporting standards.

As Management Accountant, you will:

- Provide day to day line management for the finance team, overseeing workload allocation, driving process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency

- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary for budget holders

- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with operational teams

- Monitor restricted and unrestricted funds, ensuring appropriate allocation and reporting

- Maintain accurate records of income and expenditure in line with charity SORP (Statement of Recommended Practice)

The successful applicant will:

- Have demonstrable experience in finance within the charity sector, in a similar role

- Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

About this role

This is an exciting role that will lead the relationship management of our most important, high value retail brands, without which our service could not be delivered. Supported by the Head of Events & Community Fundraising, you will work closely with the Partnerships Team and the Wardrobe Team to deliver essential client and events stock. In addition to delivering client and events stock, you will also focus on raising money from retail partners, particularly with activations linked to International Women’s Day and Giving Tuesday.

Centre 33’s Wellbeing team offer a diverse support offer to (primarily) young people aged 13-25 and founded in the principles of low intensity CBT (Guided Self Help). Working closely alongside other Centre 33 services, the team are responsible for the delivery of interventions via the Guided Self Help pathway, to young people who have self-referred or consented to a parent/professional referral to address early emerging mental health difficulties such as low mood and anxiety. In addition, the team apply creative approaches to create, adapt and share evidenced based GSH materials that are shared via one off sessions, workshops, training and events. The team design psychoeducational and wellbeing strategy- based resources for use both internally (social media campaigns and website) and externally (eg. schools). The Wellbeing team consists of a blend of Senior CWP, Qualified CWPs and Trainee CWPs.

About The Role
We are hoping to welcome an approachable and knowledgeable Dementia Adviser to work alongside our external partners and current Dementia advisors in Mid-Cornwall. 
This is a community based role, often requiring home visits and community engagement as well as home working. This is an amazing opportunity to have a rewarding career providing support and guidance to people with dementia and their carers. The role is part of a new Multi-agency contract, including Disability Cornwall, Memory Matters, Alzheimer’s society and Cornwall Foundation Trust, working alongside the Primary Care Dementia Practitioners, to provide support to individuals affected by Dementia county wide.
You will be:
- Offering a vital and compassionate advice service to support and guide those affected by dementia
- Provide community based, face to face services for an increased level of support for more complex cases.
- Managing referrals, assisting clients in assessing their information and support needs in a person-centred manner.
- Providing knowledgeable and trusted information regarding services and benefits available and, where appropriate, assist clients in accessing them.

There is no direct care element to the Dementia Adviser role, however we work passionately to provide advice, support and guidance to people affected by dementia. The Role

This is not your average 9-5.

Each day you’ll:

• Use your company van (with fuel and parking covered) to travel to venues in your area.
• Set up an eye-catching, informative fundraising stand.

• Inspire them to become RSPB members through regular direct debit support.

The Content Manager leads on the creation and delivery of cause content to help Soccer Aid for UNICEF meet its fundraising and brand targets. Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for a creative and relationship-focussed individual with extensive youth engagement experience to join us as our Youth Participation Adviser (Grants & Strategy Support) where you will work with the SUN Civil Society Network team.

This is an 18-month Fixed Term Contract and a full-time role, at 35 hours a week.

A flagship initiative within our work is the Youth Leaders for Nutrition programme, which supports young advocates to lead change in their communities and influence policy and accountability at national and global levels.

 About the role

This role is ideal for someone passionate about youth engagement, creative resource development, and global civil society collaboration.

As Youth Participation Adviser (Grants & Strategy Support), you will collaborate with young people and civil society partners globally to co-create pilot tools and resources that enable the scaling up of youth participation through the Youth Leaders for Nutrition programme.

In this role, you will: 

• Capture learnings from our existing program to inform the design of the next phase for the program.

• Co-develop:

• Toolkits to strengthen meaningful youth engagement at the national level across our global network.

• A youth inclusion checklist for SUN Civil Society Alliances (CSAs).

• Safeguarding guidance and training resources in collaboration with Save the Children UK's safeguarding team.

• Manage the distribution of small grants to SUN Civil Society Alliances, carrying out due diligence, monitoring the grant reporting from recipients, and reporting on progress and impact to donors.

• Develop creative and impactful ways to gather, analyse and present stories and data from the Youth Leaders for Nutrition programme to support strategy and fundraising.

• Work directly with regional advisors, national alliance leaders and other SUN stakeholders to ensure multi-stakeholder alignment at every level.

• Occasionally represent the SUN CSN Secretariat in internal and external meetings, helping to shape the youth engagement strategy for 2026–2030.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• The ability to connect naturally with young people, understand their needs, and confidently lead both group discussions and one-on-one conversations.

• Experience in youth mobilisation, campaigning, advocacy and/or communications.

• Experience in small grant management including distribution, due diligence, monitoring and reporting.

• Strong skills in developing resources, building capacity, and identifying or responding to learning needs.

• A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and content development.

• Comfort working across diverse cultural contexts and a strong commitment to inclusive practices.

• Experience managing multiple relationships and partnerships, ideally including collaboration within this UN movement and civil society colleagues from the global level to the grassroots.

• Commitment to Save the Children's vision, mission and values, and the SUN Movement Principles of Engagement.
