The role focuses on building positive and supportive relationships with women and their children, empowering them to work towards their goals through a strengths-based approach. This includes creating, implementing, and reviewing personalized support plans in collaboration with service users and external agencies, while also advocating on their behalf when needed. Key responsibilities involve assisting mothers with parenting skills, signposting them to appropriate services, and offering targeted support to families facing issues such as domestic abuse. Ensuring the safeguarding of children and maintaining confidentiality at all times are central to the role, alongside working within relevant policies and procedures.
Additionally, the position emphasizes the importance of children's development and wellbeing by providing educational, recreational,
and interactive play opportunities both during term time and holidays. Service users and children are encouraged to actively participate in shaping projects through consultations, feedback, and creative engagement. The role also involves promoting community involvement by networking, fundraising, and collaborating with statutory and voluntary organisations. Ultimately, the work contributes towards the five key outcome areas: being healthy, staying safe, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution, and achieving economic wellbeing.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The Finance Manager will support the Head of Finance and work closely with the Finance Officer to deliver an efficient and robust financial service for The Photographers’ Gallery (TPG) and its trading subsidiary. A pivotal role within a small but impactful team, the Finance Manager will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, strengthen financial processes and controls, and contribute to strategic decision-making across the organisation.

A summary of key duties is as below:

• Oversee all day-to-day finance operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, reconciliations, purchase and sales ledgers.
• Prepare quarterly management accounts, budgets, and cashflow reports in collaboration with the Head of Finance.

About You

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification (part-qualified considered) or significant relevant finance experience.
• Experience in financial management and bookkeeping, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
• Strong technical skills, including use of accounting systems, Excel, and financial reporting.
• Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across a range of stakeholders.
• An interest in the arts, culture, and working in a values-driven environment.

  How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community. 

When you need to travel for work, expenses will be paid (mileage or public transport costs).  

 VoiceAbility offers the usual regular manager one to ones, Staff forums and communities of practice depending on role. Team meetings with a mix of virtual and in person approach.

About the Role 

The Marketing and Insights Lead will drive Urban Saints’ marketing activity and use data insights to continually improve engagement, reach, and impact across all platforms. This role combines strategic planning with live performance monitoring to ensure our communications are effective and relevant.

You'll be responsible for:

• Planning and implement integrated campaigns across email, social media, and the website.
• Supporting launches, events, training, and product sign-ups with timely, engaging content.
• Working with the Communications Coordinator, writing and editing marketing copy for emails, landing pages, and social posts.
• Monitoring and reporting on digital metrics (Website, email, social media, ad performance).
• Tracking user journeys, engagement rates, and campaign ROI.
• Running A/B testing across platforms to evaluate message, format, and timing effectiveness
• Manage paid ads campaigns (E.g. Facebook, Google, Instagram).
• Supporting platform management of tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, and CRM exports.
• Providing regular updates and strategic insights to the Head of Communications.

Please note, this is predominantly a remote role, but with travel as the role requires. All full-time Urban Saints employees are required to attend two team residentials per year (3 days/ 2 nights each).

Working within a unique and innovative team -YCSMAS (Youth Counselling, Substance Misuse and Alcohol Service) working within Young Islington, an outstanding local Authority you will be working alongside Targeted Youth Support, Islington Youth Justice Service and I-CAN (formerly Islington Gangs Team) to provide substance Misuse support, education sessions, staff/parent/carers training and outreach services for young people aged 12yrs - 21yrs.

YCSMAS is an integrated team providing mental health support from the TYS Youth Counselling Service and substance misuse support/education from the Islington Young people's Drug and Alcohol Service (IYPDAS) to over 200 young people per year.

This role will involve:

· Managing IYPDAS duty, referrals and allocations

· Managing three IYPDAS team members Leading on outreach and partnership work

· Liaising with stakeholders and commissioners

· Developing and promoting the service

· Holding a small case load.

We are looking to recruit HOPELINE247 Advisors to provide individually tailored suicide prevention advice and guidance to young people and those who are concerned for them via our national multi-channel helpline HOPELINE247 and deliver suicide prevention training online and in community settings across the UK.

What you will do:

• Work as part of a team providing suicide prevention support to a range of clients via multichannel communication platforms. 
• Work on a 7-day shift system including evening and weekends
• Use professional judgement to assess the needs of the service users who present with risk to life and manage and report any matters related to safeguarding.
• Maintain accurate records and input data monitoring into the data base system.
• Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practise. 
• Provide training, mentoring and coaching to new recruits.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• a degree or professional qualification in Health or Social Care, Community Work or a related discipline
• previous experience of working in an advisory capacity in suicide prevention or mental health
• a proven record of working directly with vulnerable young people 
• experience of providing advice and guidance via multiple communication channels
• the ability to empathise, support and build rapport with suicidal people and those who care about them, remaining non-judgemental and adhering to the remit of the service

Salary: NJC Scale SCP 24-28 (Starting salary of £28,595 per annum based on working 30 hours per week progressing incrementally to £31,615 per annum)

Hours:  30 hours per week, Shifts will be on a rota bases across a 7-day working week.  30 hours will be based upon working 4 shifts per week.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role could suit two types of candidates:

• A practitioner with experience of working with children and families who wants to use their practice experience in a programme management role, or;
• An experienced programme manager with strong public sector and/or charity sector experience, who is confident working with data and is relational and collaborative with colleagues and partners.

It would be an advantage, though not essential, to have experience of Family Group Decision Making, solution-focused practice, or the children’s social care sector.

Whilst this role is a managerial role, and not day-to-day family-facing we do make space for our Programme Managers to hold a limited number of referrals each year to nurture skills and practice experience. Full practitioner training is provided for all Daybreak employees.

The role is home based with regular travel into Bromley and Hackney Local Authority offices. A successful candidate would also need to actively work in person with commissioners, external partners, and communities in and around Bromley and Hackney on a regular basis, depending on service needs. Willingness to travel to other areas, depending on service need and growth is needed.

What does a week look like for a Daybreak Programme Manager?

No two weeks are the same, but as a Programme Manager you can expect to balance a mix of operational oversight, supporting your freelancer team, and stakeholder engagement. Typical activities include:

Ensuring a quality service for families, and delivering on contract aims

• Reviewing and triaging referrals, including case discussions with referrers.
• Quality-assuring referrals and Family Plans, ensuring procedures are followed and records are kept up to date in our case management system.
• Monitoring case records to make sure Family Group Conferences are progressing appropriately, and accurate records are being kept.
• Collating and analysing performance data (KPIs), using MS Excel and other tools.
• Writing quarterly reports for commissioners, analysing service delivery, providing narratives and identifying areas for development.

Working with your freelancer team of Coordinators

• Allocating new referrals to our team of freelance Independent Coordinators.
• Engaging Coordinators in best practice discussions, providing guidance to overcoming barriers or issues.
• Acting as the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns, reviewing incident reports and escalating when required.
• Hosting in-person and online Practice Development Groups to share key messages and facilitate best practice discussions.
• Recruiting, inducting, and supporting new Coordinators - from advertising and interviews to observing practice.
• Reviewing and signing off invoices from freelance Coordinators.

Working with external stakeholders and referrers

• Building relationships with referrers such as Social Workers, through consultations and attending team meetings.
• Promoting our services to commissioners and senior managers in children’s social care, ensuring referrals are high quality whilst also raising awareness of the value of FGCs and our service.

Contributing to the wider Charity aims

• Attending Programme Manager and staff team meetings.
• Contributing ideas and expertise to strengthen processes, improve service delivery, expand our offer to families, and support Daybreak’s wider charitable goals.

DETAILS

• Salary: £36,000 - £39,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience
• Location: The role is home based with regular travel into Bromley and Hackney Local Authority offices. There is also occasionally travel to Southampton (Head Office) for meetings and other areas, based on operational need.

• Designing and producing compelling visual content across digital and print formats.
• Filming and editing videos for campaigns, training materials and resources.
• Managing and editing visual assets, including team-supplied images.
• Contributing ideas and visual concepts to support campaigns and storytelling.
• Acting as a brand guardian for visual content, ensuring consistency across all channels.
• Working closely with other members of the Communications team to deliver content for campaigns, training, and wider initiatives.
