We have an exciting opportunity for an Accommodation Advocate working within our Bolton safehouses supporting male survivors of modern day slavery. This role includes providing service users with emotional and practical support; advocating on their behalf, communicating with other organisations including but not limited to health professionals, legal representation and the Home office. Please note there is an occupational requirement for the applicant to be male. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Case working service users identified as PVOHT (Potential Victims of Human Trafficking).
• Regular feedback and review meetings with Accommodation Coordinator.
• Arranging and attending appointments with Service users including families.
• Following up all the paperwork and details of VOHT in adherence to the terms of the contract; including online reporting. Including but not limited to; weekly reviews, risk assessments, support plans and inductions.
• Duties in relation to the accommodation, including cleaning and preparing service user bedrooms for new arrivals and basic H&S checks.
• Ensuring that volunteers who work with you on shift have the proper level of support and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Ensuring that all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
• Ensuring progression of PVOHT through system;
• Liaising with organizations and individuals regarding VOHT and Causeway in a professional manner - including but not limited to SATco, UK Visas and Immigration, Modern Slavery Human Trafficking Unit, other agencies, police, and medical professionals.
• Identifying support hours and ensuring accurate logging of all hours.
• Ensuring paperwork is being completed correctly and in a timely fashion.
• Ensuring exit strategies are being prepared in a timely fashion.
• Dealing with out of hour crisis in accordance with standby rota.
• Receiving out of hours’ referrals, carrying out inductions, weekly reviews and updating the IT system.
• Ensuring adherence to all internal procedures regarding Causeway, the Safe Houses and any legislation.
• Promoting Causeway in adherence to the terms of the contract – this may include attending events on behalf of Causeway as a whole.

About the role
 
This role builds on work that we have been doing for decades to support and empower LGBT people who have experienced sexual abuse or violence. Your work will enable LGBT people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of sexual abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.
 
You will be joining our advocacy and support team, supporting LGBT survivors across London. You will work directly with LGBT victims/survivors, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related to experiences of sexual abuse or violence, including issues such as attending a sexual assault referral centre (SARC), support with the criminal and civil justice process, providing support at court during trial, safety, and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care.
 
You will work with mainstream services to ensure the voices and experiences of LGBT survivors are represented in order to make change for our community at a local and national level. You will also work closely with key partner organisations by attending meetings and have the opportunity to take part in external work to ensure a joined-up approach among services working with LGBT people facing abuse and violence.

We are looking for a compassionate and organised Referrals Practitioner to join our team and play a vital role in welcoming new residents into recovery. About the Role

The Referrals Practitioner supports all aspects of our referral process – from handling enquiries and assessing applications to ensuring smooth, safe, and supportive arrivals for new residents. Working alongside the Referrals Coordinator, you will:

• Carry out assessments in line with Nehemiah’s admissions procedures
• Build relationships with referral agencies, prisons, and community partners
• Provide feedback to applicants and agencies on referral outcomes
• Arrange and support resident arrivals, including prison gate pickups where required
• Help ensure our houses remain safe, positive recovery environments
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and monitoring

This is a varied role where no two days are the same – you might be assessing an application one morning, presenting to a prison referral team in the afternoon, and welcoming a new resident from the community the next day.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking someone who is:

• Experienced in working with vulnerable adults in recovery, the criminal justice system, or related fields (paid, voluntary, or lived)
• Skilled in communication, with the ability to build trust and rapport with residents, partners, and colleagues
• Organised and confident using IT systems (ideally including Salesforce or similar CRM tools)
• Able to demonstrate resilience and empathy in challenging situations
• Understanding of addiction recovery and safeguarding principles
• NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent experience (including lived experience)

Job Purpose: To work with the Youth & Universities team to deliver F&BF’s programmes and projects

Duties and Responsibilities

All activities will be undertaken in collaboration with the Youth Voice & Universities team.

Delivery

· To support delivery of the UN award-winning ParliaMentors programme (1.5 days per week):

o Being responsible for 2 teams of university students.

o Supporting 12 London-based students by: having 1:1 coaching calls with each of them to offer guidance and support; conducting sessions to support the teams with their social action projects and identifying area for development; conducting sessions to work through any team dynamic issues that arise.

o Supporting with facilitation of workshops related to social action, politics, leadership and interfaith.

o Administrative and logistical support (e.g., room bookings, processing reimbursements, coordinating student travels).

· To support delivery of City Bridge Trust (CBT) work (3.5 days per week):

o Responsible for overseeing the deliverables for this funder, ensuring all deadlines are met.

o Responsible for delivering four interfaith trainings for Local Authorities within London.

o Planning and delivering the annual Youth Interfaith Summit, the UK’s largest interfaith event for the climate.

o Coordinating the Youth Advisory Board, a group of young interfaith activists who will codesign the Summit.

o Responsible for coordinating the remainder of the Youth Forum for Faith and Ecology in partnership with LSE.

o Identifying and facilitating partnerships between alumni network and other relevant organizations.

o Coordinate collection and analysis of M&E data for internal and funder reporting, and production of case studies.

The Faith and Belief Forum is the UK’s leading interfaith organisation, dedicated for nearly 30 years to building understanding and strong relationships between people of all faiths and beliefs. Creative Support are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to manage our team of support staff at our Supported Accommodation service in Tameside. We require someone with a good understanding and experience in the field of mental health.

As a Team Leader you will received guidance and support from the registered service manager to help maintain high quality support to oversee the supported accommodation service. You will also join a cohort of experienced regional managers who, alongside the registered manager, will provide peer support to you in your role.
