Part-time
Permanent
Job description

Salary: £38,000 FTE
Contract: Permanent – Part-time, 22.5 hours per week
Location: Remote
Closing date: ASAP
We have an excellent opportunity for a Trusts and Foundations Manager working for a well-established children's hospice charity that supports children with serious or life-limiting conditions and their families. This is a rewarding opportunity to lead and develop a successful trusts and foundations programme, helping to secure vital funding that enables families to receive specialist care and support.
As part of this role, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the trusts and foundations income stream, ensuring application activity meets ambitious income targets and strategic objectives. You will develop compelling funding proposals and reports, identify new funding opportunities through prospect research, manage a robust pipeline of applications, and build strong relationships with funders. You will also contribute to long-term fundraising strategy, work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to identify projects suitable for funding, and provide line management support to a Trusts and Foundations Executive.
To be successful as the Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will need:

  • Significant experience securing income from trusts and foundations, experience with the Lottery or Children In Need would be ideal but not essential.
  • Strong relationship management, communication and research skills, with the ability to identify and maximise funding opportunities.
  • Experience working collaboratively across teams and managing fundraising pipelines, ideally with previous line management experience.
