Asylum Justice is the only charity in Wales - and one of very few in the UK - providing free legal advice and representation to people seeking asylum, refugees, and other migrants who are excluded from legal aid. Every day, we help people navigate a hostile system, challenge injustice, and secure safety for themselves and their families.

Demand for our services is higher than ever. In the past year alone, our caseload increased by nearly 50%, and we've taken on more complex, urgent cases - including supporting unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and people at immediate risk of destitution or deportation.

We’re now looking for a Funding Officer to join our small, committed team and help secure the resources we need to sustain and grow our work. This is a chance to make a tangible difference - not just in helping us meet income targets, but in strengthening access to justice for some of the most marginalised people in Wales.

The role is hybrid working (Cardiff office and remote working) but fully remote working may also be considered. We are open to compressed hours or part-time working (minimum 28 hours) for the right candidate. We also welcome applications from people interested in a job share arrangement.

About the role

This is a hands-on, varied role that combines fundraising, relationship management, and impact storytelling. You’ll work closely with our Legal Director and wider team to:

• Research and identify funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and statutory sources
• Write compelling funding bids and reports that reflect our impact and values
• Maintain excellent relationships with funders and support project coordination with delivery partners
• Coordinate grant reporting and keep accurate records of income, spend, and deadlines
• Support internal monitoring and evaluation to strengthen our evidence base
• Help develop our approach to individual giving, fundraising events, and donor communications

You’ll deliver a range of engaging financial education programmes to young people, adults, and professionals. Trainers love working with our participants and are the front line of our work; representing our exceptional programme quality in a variety of settings.

The role requires significant travel to locations across London and surrounding areas, to deliver face-to-face sessions to diverse learners. Occasional virtual sessions also need to be delivered. You’ll receive a TFL travel card, provided by Money Ready, to cover all travel costs.

We’re proud of the quality of our trainers and have a great mix of people. You’ll join an excellent team in London with a wealth of experience, so there will be ample opportunity for you to learn. You’ll also be encouraged to provide feedback on where our programmes might improve.

Importantly, you do not need to be an existing expert on financial education; we will train you on everything you need to know. Rather we are looking for people who will be great trainers! 

Hours: 0.4 or 0.6FTE (14/21 hours per week respectively)

Location: Hybrid. Staff work remotely and from the Medact office in East London. London-based staff work in-person as a team one day per week, and staff based outside London come in at least once a month, with support for travel costs. Applications from outside London are encouraged.

About the role

Medact is hiring for the new role of Fundraising Manager: Trusts & Grants to secure grant funds for the organisation over a critical one-year period. The new Fundraising Manager will be responsible for completing applications already in the pipeline, and then setting out a plan to apply for as many successful grants as possible in the period and delivering it.

The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team and our programme staff, to identify, develop and write grant proposals to relevant funders, for both restricted and unrestricted income streams. 

About you

This is a skilled role but you don’t need to have had a job in an NGO before or be a professional campaigner to be right for it. You might have successfully fundraised for a local community organisation or a grassroots campaign on a social justice or health issue that you care about. 

You’ll have strong skills in developing and writing applications, with a strong understanding of the funding landscape and potential relevant grantmakers. You need to be a great communicator, able to translate the work of an organisation into language tailored for different funding bodies. You’ll also be a strong team player, able to work with relevant staff members to develop winning applications that fit properly within our existing strategy and areas of work.

Corporate Partnerships are a key area of growth for Noah’s Ark Fundraising and is pivotal to not just income generation but also brand awareness for the work that we do. The role feeds into our Major Donor and Corporate income streams. Philanthropy & Partnerships is a real area of expertise for Noah’s Ark, with much scope for further growth.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will work in close collaboration with the Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager and build a cohesive way of working to ensure that we are maximising impact for the charity and its beneficiaries.

Purpose - The Corporate Partnerships Manager works with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, steward existing relationships, and develop a healthy corporate prospects pipeline in order to achieve agreed income targets.  The role is also key in delivering our special events and campaigns in collaboration with our Special Events Manager. This includes our annual matched-funding campaign, The Winter Ball and the Noah’s Ark Golf Day – which most recently raised £1m, £400,000 and £104,000 respectively.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a dedicated, organised and reliable individual. You will show determination and have an ability to read people and situations intuitively. An exceptional and eloquent communicator, excellent at managing your time and a natural relationship builder.

You will ideally have experience of account managing five and six figure partnerships as well as demonstable new business wins – and therefore, have a growth mind-set for an ambitious corporate team. We are looking for a Global Events Manager (Fundraising), to develop and lead a Global Events Strategy for all fundraising-related events including Philanthropy, Mid-Level and Legacy, as well as involvement in wider organisational events, to engage and inspire mid-level and major donors and funders.

The Advocacy Team is part of Shelter Scotland’s Communications and Advocacy Department and is responsible for developing the charity’s policy positions, research plan, and public affairs and professional stakeholder engagement.

The Advocacy team works closely with colleagues in Community Advice and our Telephone and Online Advice services to capture evidence of how Scotland’s broken and biased housing system is impacting communities, and colleagues in Communications and Engagement to translate this evidence into compelling public campaigns and fundraising appeals. We're looking for an Education & Volunteering Manager to join our central office team and support our mission to deliver expert-led arts and educational events as well as cultural and heritage projects through our membership and local societies.

You'll support the Deputy Chief Executive Officer in building and maintaining The Art Society’s Directory of Lecturers, along with planning and running the annual Directory Day. You’ll also provide general support for the four Heads of Volunteering and their teams (Arts Volunteering, Heritage Volunteers, Trails of Discovery and Church Recording).

TRC Sexual Abuse & Rape Support Greater Manchester is seeking a committed and experienced professional to join our team as Services & Operations Manager.

Based across our sites in Trafford, you will provide clinical and operational oversight of TRC’s service areas (counselling, ISVA, helpline & digital, and Pathfinder) and provide direct day-to-day service management. You will also lead on safeguarding, act as a line of support between the services and the CEO, and coordinate TRC's client-facing centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to support our trauma-informed services for survivors of rape and sexual violence.

The role of the Learning & Development Officer is to provide a consistent and high level of both operational delivery and administrative support by updating training information and maintaining training systems and processes. In areas such as leadership development, performance management, apprenticeships, and supporting a full range of mandatory, technical and management development. This relates to staff, volunteers, trustees and agency and contractors.

This role involves a high level of operational delivery, administration and multitasking so the job holder needs to be confident in being able to organise and prioritise their time and work efficiently, effectively and independently in order to be able to respond to a variety of requests and demands.

Role Requirements

• Maintain efficient administration systems that facilitate the smooth operation of the training function with the wider Organisational Development Team.
• Serve as the first point of contact for all enquiries directed to the Learning & Development Team, providing information and assistance as needed
• Oversee the management of the team inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to enquiries while taking ownership of all queries
• Process and oversee internal training bookings using Select HR (our HR System)
• Handle applications for external training, including organising payment and liaising with external trainers as necessary
• Manage all administrative tasks related to in-house training sessions, including generating delegate lists, preparing materials for trainers, and booking rooms, equipment, and catering as required
• Produce and distribute certificates for programme participants upon completion.
• Process invoices from external facilitators, including managing costings for other departments
• Organise & coordinate the training calendar for the following year by liaising with facilitators and colleagues and working with CET and Therapy teams
• Update schedules with changes/additions as they arise and inform training representatives and departments
• Planning and organising ‘ad hoc’ training sessions as and when required
• Prepare monthly induction programme including training memos, induction folders, session materials, catering requests & induction evaluations.
• Deliver brief Training session to new starters and help with tours where necessary
• Deliver appraisee training via teams
• Prepare for training sessions, including sending reminders, organising session materials, catering, room and equipment set up
• Create monthly training and PDR reports and chasing compliance where necessary working with line managers.
• Produce ‘due dates’ and other relevant training reports for managers as requested
• Deliver all training related activities for new starters.

The Community Outreach Officer is a key member of the Connect to Work team in Merton, responsible for borough-based engagement, visibility, and collaboration. This is a community facing role that requires regular travel across the Merton borough, and occasionally wider South London, to establish new
