Health Information Writer and Coordinator

The Health Information Writer and Coordinator post is a key role within our health information team. You will produce online and printed information following our health information process, accredited by the Patient Information Forum (PIF) Tick scheme. The emphasis is on co-creation, working with people affected by blood cancer to ensure our information meets the needs of our community. You’ll collaborate with medical experts to make sure the information is accurate, clear and trustworthy.
You will also take on key administrative tasks to ensure our information gets to the people who need it, including stock checking, managing reprints and monitoring the reach of our publications.
You’ll produce online and printed information following our health information process, accredited by the Patient Information Forum (PIF) Tick scheme. The emphasis is on co-creation, working with people affected by blood cancer to ensure our information meets the needs of our community.
Expected travel for this role is approximately travel to the office up to 3 times per quarter, plus two Directorate Away Days and two All-staff Away Days per year.
