Responsibilities of our Digital Learning Specialist:

• Take overall responsibility for the design, development and delivery of Digital Learning in Cats Protection
• Working with colleagues across the charity, you will lead the development of bespoke Digital Learning programmes to meet the needs of volunteers and employees
• Support the Head of Organisational Learning and People Development in meeting the Learning and Development (L&D) management information needs of the charity and in demonstrating return on investment of L&D activity
• Provide expert project management support to the L&D Team

About the Digital Learning team:

The Digital Learning team is one of three internal learning teams that work together to deliver organisational capability. Led by the Digital Learning Specialist this team works with stakeholders across the organisation to meet their needs. Core aspects of their work include:

• Manage the development and maintenance of our Learner Management System (LMS) ensuring it is fit for purpose and providing support for the wider L&D team and learners.
• Develop data analysis to help L&D to understand leaners’ needs and experiences.
• Create high-quality e-learning using established development processes and working with subject matter experts from across the organisation.

What we’re looking for in our Digital Learning Specialist:

• Significant experience of managing and implementing digital learning programmes for a large organisation with volunteers and employees, supporting strategic aims and cultural change
• Proven experience of researching, designing, delivering and evaluating high quality digital learning products and solutions that meet organisational and individual needs
• Significant project management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects across an organisation
• Experience of managing a team
• Ability to work collaboratively and in partnership, taking all stakeholder perspectives into consideration

Herts Young Homeless is an independent charity and has been supporting vulnerable people in Hertfordshire since 1998. We are professional, passionate, collaborative and supportive charity that provides guidance to everyone who is in need of support.

We are looking for two dedicated and passionate Advice and Information Worker to join our team based in Hatfield! You will be the first point of contact for anyone needing to access the ‘hyh hub’ and will ensure that all referrals are triaged to identify the most effective pathway for support. The worker will deliver accurate advice and information to young people, parents and professionals, and work undertaken in a coordinated timely manner. You will carry out appropriate assessments, with other agencies where needed, to assess the needs of the family to prevent family breakdown and homelessness.

Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied, short term case load with conflicting deadlines
- To offer realistic advice and options to young people, family members and professionals to prevent family breakdown and homelessness, identifying any other needs within the process.
- To carry out service user assessments under the JHP and liaise with statutory agencies, non-statutory agencies and family members to assist with a planned move on/secure accommodation for
16/17 year olds as required.
- Develop and maintain smooth, accurate pathways on the database for gathering and maintaining all relevant service user and statistical information
- To chair and coordinate family meetings, housing support meetings and liaison meetings with other agencies as required
- To liaise and refer into Crashpad as required and work within the set timescales
- Alongside team members and external partners, co-ordinate and implement focused action plans, working with families for a maximum of 6 weeks
- Working in strengths based way, support 16/17 year olds to advocate for themselves when appropriate and necessary
- Carry out the necessary follow-up work and write ups of service users files
- Encourage and promote a planned approach to solving conflict alongside the ‘hyh hub’ and explore the mediation / family link worker processes to young people and their families, in line with the ‘single pathway’ model.

As a successful candidate you will have...
- A full driving license and use of own car or motorbike for business purposes (Compulsory)

About the role

The key functions of this role are to enable Practical Action to deliver on its strategy of delivering Climate Resilience outcomes through all our work, including in the Zurich Climate Resilience Programme (ZCRP), to ensure that our work is ‘climate risk informed’ and addresses the key drivers of climate vulnerability.

About SPANA

SPANA (The Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad) is the global charity for the working animals of the world. Since our foundation in 1923, we have worked where they work, to support the welfare of working animals, including horses, donkeys, mules, oxen, dogs and camels.

About this role

Over the past two years, SPANA has made significant investments in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), culminating in the establishment of an independent MEAL team within the Global Programmes Directorate. Led by the Head of Data Insight and MEAL, this team works collaboratively with the Programme Quality and Development, Animal Health and Welfare and Education, Community Education and SBCC teams to strengthen evidence-based programming and impact measurement.

The MEAL Manager plays a central role in advancing SPANA’s MEAL systems, providing technical expertise and support to SPANA UK staff and over 20 global partners. The role contributes to the design and implementation of MEAL frameworks that effectively measure the organisation’s impact on the health and welfare of working animals. In addition, the MEAL Manager promotes innovative approaches to data use, supports evidence-based learning and line manages the Data Insights Officer.

Contract, location and salary

This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week), permanent role. This role is UK based, hybrid working with regular attendance (approximately 1-2 days per month, or more if preferred) in our London office. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK currently and for the duration of the contract. 

The salary for this position is c.£45,000 per annum, subject to skills and experience. SPANA is pleased to offer a range of benefits including a generous company pension scheme with 10% employer contribution if the employee contributes a minimum 5%, and health care cash plan.

Job Title: Recovery Worker

Location: West Ealing -  Step free access available

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota between Monday to Sunday varying shifts from 07:30 - 16:00 or 13:30 - 21:00. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service requirements. 

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in based in Ealing. We support adults experiencing loneliness, isolation, and mental health challenges and providing pathways, support, and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. Marron House has 18 bed spaces and we provide personalised support around daily living skills such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, reminders to take medication and developing a structured weekly routine.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis or other risks.
• Ensure service responsibilities and requirements are carried out effectively.
• Ensure all participants understand their rights and responsibilities.
• Develop, participate in, and encourage participants to participate in the running and development of various projects and activities.
• Empower participants to make decisions to take control over their lives, by creating an enabling environment.
• Provide advice, information, guidance, and life skills training to participants as required.
• Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health, physical health, or other health implications

Job Purpose
The Head of Community will work with the Director of Services on strategic and operational planning and provide operational leadership for the range of Community services delivered by Age UK East London.

The purpose of this role is to:

• Take responsibility for the delivery of Age UK East London’s Community Service offer, ensuring its delivery requirements are met and we are responsive to new opportunities.
• Ensure that older people who are supported by the Community team also benefit from the range of AUKEL services and those provided by other local partners.
• Be an active member of our SLT, working with senior leaders across AUKEL, contributing your experience and expertise to problem solve, spot and develop opportunities as well as make an impact on our overall organisational development
journey.
• Build responsive and accountable relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including commissioners, partner providers, senior health and social care professionals.
• Motivate and inspire a frontline staff and volunteer team, using excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of key issues affecting older people.
• Ensure the services are meeting all KPI’s for quality and delivery, overseeing data management and analysis to ensure compliance and insight that supports future development and demonstration of impact, taking a continuous improvement
approach.
• Ensure service staffing and delivery arrangements are optimal, including by assessing which services need allocated staff and which would be better delivered by a central team.
• Ensuring processes and good practice is embedded in case recording, reporting and data collection.

Key Tasks

Coordination and Management of service

• Line manage service managers and coordinators, and oversee the good management of all service staff.
• Ensure services are delivered in line with contractual requirements
• Work with other senior managers, ensuring good joined up internal referral pathways, clear communication and joint-working where possible
• Ensure the team is fully conversant with the organisation’s CRM and that this is used effectively to record and manage casework and evidence of outcomes and impact of the service
• Ensure the team is knowledgeable about the local service offers and are effective in referring and signposting clients to other relevant services
• Complete and maintain relevant risk assessments.
• Ensure there is cover for gaps in service delivery (e.g. due to A/L or sickness).
• Support team members to supervise volunteers effectively
• Support implementation of any organisation-wide operational changes
• Regularly attend meetings with external professionals as necessary in relation to operational management and delivery of services 

Quality and Insight

• Produce quarterly KPI monitoring and evaluation reports for each contract as required to include data, case studies and insight on service delivery and opportunities
• Produce quarterly insight to the Board of Trustees at committee level
• Monitor compliance in record keeping around key areas
• Continuously review and monitor services with the aim of improving quality, flexibility, responsiveness and effectiveness, and to identify and respond to new opportunities

General

• Develop and nurture supportive and collaborative relationships with local community, voluntary and faith partners.
• Identify, explore and develop new opportunities that address the needs of local older people.
• Lead the development and delivery of current and future commissioned community services in AUKEL.
• Work with senior colleagues to conduct ongoing ‘horizon scanning’ of changes in national and local priorities and approaches to services, to maximise opportunities and identify upcoming challenges for older people
• Work with local partners to share best practice and develop opportunities to work together

• Develop strategic relationships in the local health and social care system, to gain insights and inroads to future opportunities and build service reputation and influence. 
• Continuously gain feedback from the team in considering how the service can develop further, for example around reach, client journey and other areas.

of the Community team.
