Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, you will identify and grow our portfolio of partnerships across multiple sectors. You will create engaging strategic partnerships and deliver first class stewardship whilst ensuring organisational KPIs and are met.

You will have excellent new business and relationship management skills with the ability to think creatively and innovatively. You will be a brilliant communicator with a flair for storytelling and have experience in growing portfolios through cold outreach to partners  preferable within the charity sector, but not exclusively .  Candidates from other sectors with strong sales experience will also be considered.

What you will be doing

This role supports the delivery of our Individual Giving programme, specifically in support of our Puppy Sponsorship Scheme. The delivery of exceptional supporter care across multiple channels lies at the heart of the Supporter Services team and forms an integral part of the Individual Giving retention strategy. In many instances, you will be the first line of enquiry either by telephone, email, social media, or letter (and occasionally face-to-face) for Hearing Dogs’ supporters.

• Present a professional, positive, and proactive approach to supporter care and adherence to best practice regarding stewardship and supporter engagement.
• Be proactive in stewardship process improvement and development, maintaining up-to-date guidance notes for areas of your work.
• Ensure all interactions with supporters are logged in the CRM system and where appropriate passed on to the relevant team(s) in a timely manner.
• Use KPIs and SLAs to track, measure, and report on performance to ensure supporter care consistently meets our high standards.  
• Process telephone, post and email enquiries/donations regarding and related to the Puppy Sponsorship Scheme, and ensure that all queries are responded to and resolved within recommended stewardship guidelines and timeframes for the team.
• Assist with maintenance of Puppy Sponsorship data on the Charity’s CRM to ensure supporter records are up-to-date and accurate, flagging any issues to the Supporter Services Manager.
• Prepare data for Puppy Sponsorship updates and build email communications.
• Assist with the production and cleaning of mailing files to support fundraising appeals, raffles, lotteries, and other products.

We are looking for an enthusiastic fundraiser to create and grow income opportunities through events and community activities for the Neuromuscular Centre; a charity in Winsford that provides a range of unique, specialist services for people with neuromuscular conditions. The Centre is a warm, vibrant community that exists as the only one of its kind in the UK and Europe. You'll be joining a successful fundraising team that together raises £500,000 per year, and a charity that has been enhancing the quality of life for people affected by neuromuscular conditions for 34 years.

You’ll be maintaining NMC’s existing events calendar, as well as having the autonomy to develop the calendar further and put your own stamp on it. You’ll also be managing our community fundraising income, which includes individual giving, lottery, working with local groups and supporting individuals with their own fundraising activities. You will be developing and building relationships with new and existing supporters to maximise fundraising potential, as well as recruiting and managing volunteers from all walks of life.

We’re looking for someone with previous fundraising experience, with the ambition to take this to new levels. This is a really immersive role, working with the charity's supporters and donors, while at the same time being based where the charity operates. You will see the fruits of your labours in our warm and friendly environment.

Tasks associated with the role include:

• Working to a mutually agreed upon income and expenditure budgets for community and event income streams, contributing to the overall fundraising target.

• Recruiting supporters to get involved with our challenge events and developing the opportunities with our new partnership with Run For Charity.

• Leading on existing NMC income generating programmes such as NMC’s Lottery and Regular Giving, working towards gaining new members and maintaining current memberships

Main purpose and scope of Role

This role will play key to engaging with and supporting PTAs across the region, as well as a variety of stakeholders such as schools, parent groups, local authorities, potential sponsors or supporters and other organisations as our suite of programmes grows. This role initially focuses on the following, but is subject to change as programmes are launched or evolved:

PTA Programme

• Growing our network of PTAs.
• Supporting PTAs through leadership transition to minimise PTAs closing unnecessarily.
• Organising gatherings of PTAs to enhance the PTA community.
• Providing training and awareness sessions for PTAs.
• Providing community support to PTAs during peak activity periods online or by phone.
• Helping schools establish PTAs and supporting them during their first year through our new PTA Launchpad programme.
• Hosting and co-ordinating virtual webinars/meetings to demonstrate the value of PTA membership and the support available. 

Parent Programme

• Raising awareness of Parentkind’s growing programme of support for parents, directly or indirectly through schools or other partners.
• Building relationships with parent groups to support engagement with our growing suite of parent support opportunities.
• Organising events for parents as part of our Parent Programme.
• Building relationships with regional stakeholders to support Parent Programme activities.

Other Programmes/Services

• Encouraging uptake or (when charged) sales of our broad and growing suite of programmes and services.
• Identifying and engaging with local and regional partners for our range of programmes.
• Feeding into programme design.

Wider Stakeholder Engagement:

• Attending appropriate conferences and educational meetings across the region. 
• Developing relationships with key local authorities and individuals so they advocate our services and the benefits of our programmes
• Developing relationships with MATs so that they can advocate Parentkind and the benefits of its programmes.
• Identify any opportunities for external funding to from LA’s, Companies, or other funders with the support of our fundraising team.

Organisational Effectiveness: 

• Create and implement operational annual plans and schedules to support our regional targets, ensuring that time specific milestones for their delivery are met.
• Regularly report on the health of our campaigns within your region, through identified KPIs and organisational targets.
• Ensure all knowledge and information is recorded, processed and maintained according to good administration practice.

General

• To keep abreast of relevant educational policy and legislation affecting our key audiences.
• To be flexible within the broad remit of the post.

About the role

As The National Partnership Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development function for Scotland. You will manage a team of embedded Senior Project Officers working within the partner national organisations and delivering in partnership with a broad range of local stakeholders to develop and deliver local Active Travel Strategies, Visions and Plans.

You will work closely with colleagues to secure funding for our work, capturing and communicating the impacts of better places for people.  You will ensure our for everyone values – to strengthen diversity and inclusion across the charity, whilst ensuring that a more systematic approach to the embedding of our ‘for everyone’ principles permeates through our work.

You will advocate for sustainable transport across the region, and you will use that platform to influence local decision makers, through engaging in policy and planning work, leading on communications, and contributing to a coordinated approach to business development opportunities in Scotland.

You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people across governance tiers within national partner organizations. You will work with internal and external partners to build the team’s knowledge and capacity around inclusive programme design and delivery.  In this respect, working to ensure that our partnership programmes are for everyone and do not have unintended consequences for disadvantaged population groups. 

This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans. 

About you

You should be an experienced leader, expert at developing and maintaining relationships at senior levels in a variety of sectors e.g. National organizations, Local Authority, business and industry bodies. You should have line management experience and substantial experience of project management, including budget management.

You must have the ability to communicate authoritatively and persuasively to a range of audiences, with demonstrable experience of remote and face-to-face partnership development techniques.

The Achieving Potential programme at SHP supports SHP clients with options and opportunities to build their confidence, learn new skills and try new things. We are recruiting to an exciting new post within our team, having recently secured funding to take forward our digital inclusion offer.

People experiencing homelessness are often from the most socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds and are digitally excluded. Digital access is crucial for peoples’ independence – e.g. accessing Universal Credit or GPs, but it’s also fundamental in addressing isolation and loneliness. Feeling connected to others can be the difference between someone continuing their journey out of homelessness or falling back into drug-use due to isolation/loneliness – we want to break the vicious cycle between digital and social exclusion.  

As the Digital Inclusion Project Coordinator, your objectives will be to spearhead initiatives aimed at increasing digital inclusion within SHP’s diverse communities. This multifaceted role requires a blend of strategic planning, community engagement, technological proficiency, and environmental stewardship. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders from both withing SHP and externally to develop and implement sustainable solutions that bridge the digital divide and minimize the environmental impact of electronic waste.

• Demonstrated experience in community outreach, project management, and stakeholder engagement, preferably in the fields of digital inclusion, sustainability, or social justice.
