Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey has been established for over 100 years and is the major provider of services for people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted, and deafblind in Surrey.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and creative Corporate and Community Fundraiser to lead on the development and growth of income through businesses and local communities across Surrey. Through your wealth of fundraising experience, you will research and identify new partnership opportunities as well as manage existing relationships, to drive unrestricted income for the charity.
The post holder must have a minimum of three years fundraising experience and use their initiative, personal presence and drive to support all fundraising activity to achieve a substantial increase in unrestricted income.
The post holder will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to prioritise effectively and manage a busy and varied workload. This is an exciting opportunity to join the charity and play an integral role in growing partnerships across Surrey.
Principle Accountabilities:
· Research and identify new partnership opportunities
· Provide excellent account management to new and existing partners in order to meet key fundraising and engagement objectives
· Work collaboratively to generate income from partners through creative fundraising initiatives
· Represent the charity at local functions and give presentations when required
· Create engaging assets for applications and pitch presentations
· Deliver a calendar of community fundraising events, promoting awareness campaigns to supporters and building engagement with new audiences
· Support individuals and organisations fundraising for the charity
· Maintain accurate and up to date record keeping of written and oral communication with supporters.
· Attend evening and weekend events on behalf of Sight for Surrey.
· To comply with best practice and legal requirements including data protection and charity fundraising.
· Be proactive in keeping up to date with developments affecting your work.
· Carry out other associated duties as may arise, develop, or be assigned in line with the broad remit of the post.

Work Context:
The post holder will be highly motivated and organised to research, identify and build new and existing relationships with local businesses and community organisations in order to increase unrestricted income and engagement for the charity.
Sight for Surrey constantly needs to reassess its priorities in line with a changing funding environment and the needs identified by its members and service users. These factors are crucial to the charity’s survival and need careful attention. In order for Sight for Surrey to successfully manage these pressures there is a need for all staff to be flexible and work wherever their core skills are needed most. No-one will be asked to carry out work for which they are not properly trained.

Full time annual leave entitlement is 28 days per annum. Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey complies with auto enrolment, we match contributions up to 6% using the Pensions Trust. About the Role
There are 1.4 million primary-aged children growing up in poverty in the UK, and we are currently only working with a fraction of them. We have grown rapidly over the last few years and are now looking to recruit a Fundraising Manager who can help take our fundraising work to the next level.
The Fundraising Manager will work with the team to drive Learning with Parents’ fundraising strategy. Their primary focus will be on strengthening our existing corporate partnerships pipeline, and managing new and existing corporate relationships. Areas of Responsibility
Building a pipeline of corporate partners

Working closely with Learning with Parents’ CEO and COO, research, qualify and prioritise prospects to create a buoyant pipeline.

About the role

About you

The Role
As FareShare continues to build broad and successful partnerships with key food suppliers across the UK, the Impact Reporting Officer will play a vital role in managing data and effectively demonstrating our impact to the food industry. This position is central to achieving our mission of saving usable surplus food and feeding communities.
This role is a reporting and systems lead, providing administrative and analytical support to the Food Team with a primary focus on consolidating and managing food volume data. Demonstrating to companies the difference their food makes in an informative and engaging way is a key driver of continued support and motivation for the food industry. We seek a fast learner who can engage across various internal systems, including FareShare’s national WMS, Power BI, and our CRM Salesforce.
Working closely with the Food Team, the role will extract and manipulate data from our systems, presenting it meaningfully in reports and updates for our key food partners. Additionally, this role will collaborate with FareShare’s in-house technology department (The Info Centre) to champion and support the maintenance and accuracy of systems used within the Food Team, ensuring account records are up-to-date, and live reporting is both accurate and beneficial to account managers while adhering to GDPR policies.
This role will champion the further embedded usage of our CRM system (Salesforce) to better manage multifaceted relationships with our partners across the food industry. Having a clear and aligned view of the relationships across the industry is central to our ability to achieve our ambitions in partnership excellence. This role will both support the teams in keeping the CRM accurate and work with the Info Centre in suggesting and implementing builds and developments to the CRM that enhance our ability to successfully track and monitor key relationships.
Alongside the ownership of our impact data, this role will also contribute to cross-departmental data analytics projects and support the Marketing team to gather qualitative impact stories. Across both qualitative and quantitative impact data, this role will look to translate all of this into meaningful insights for companies that highlight FareShare’s work and ultimately help to deliver more food for those that need it.
Main areas of responsibility
Impact Reporting
- Design, build and implement impact reporting activities across the Food Team, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with key partner joint partnership plans
- Develop and implement best practices for impact reporting to effectively communicate the difference made by partners’ food .

About the role:
This fundraiser will work closely with the Heads of Departments and academics in the Departments of Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences.
