What We Are Looking For:  

We are seeking a dedicated, proactive and compassionate group support co-ordinator to lead the further development, delivery, and integration of Self Injury Support’s community-based group support programme, with a focus on accessibility and reaching and engaging with diverse communities across the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire area. 

About the Position    

Group Support Co-ordinator  

Pay grade: NJC Grade Point 24 - £33,024 per annum pro-rata based on a three-day working week comprising 21 hours per week (£18,797). 

Hours: 21 per week, with some flexibility as to how these hours are delivered; including meetings and groups in the community and office-based work. 

Location: Central Bristol, community venues across the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire area.

Duties and responsibilities 

Service Development 

Consultation and Outreach 

1. Consult with current and potential group participants and draw on existing service data analysis to inform the content, locations, timings and other details of a groups programme for people affected by self-harm, following on from previous pilot groups run in 2023 and 2024 
2. Analyse consultation and service data and in collaboration with team members decide on groups programme themes 

Community Connections and Groups Development 

1. Connect with and become a member of a range of relevant community networks in the local area to both share service information and learning, and learn about range of wider community support available 
2. Connect with and build a database of potential facilitators and venues
3. Develop a rolling groups calendar with a core ongoing peer support group and time-limited specialist groups 
4. Build on existing processes and further develop processes and procedures to ensure robust record keeping, partnership agreements and safeguarding processes are in place that are GDPR compliant 
5. In collaboration with other Self Injury Support services, explore areas of overlap, potential for shared learning and joint working 
6. In collaboration with other Self Injury Support services, develop processes and procedures to support inclusivity and accessibility, including the administration of an accessibility fund for participants 

Service Delivery 

Groups Promotion and Delivery 

1. Handle groups logistics such as booking specialist facilitators, venues, refreshments and materials in line with budget
2. In collaboration with the Communications Officer develop print and digital promotional materials and develop a dissemination plan 
3. In collaboration with other Self Injury Support services, conduct outreach work to promote the groups programme to other relevant community groups and organisations 
4. Respond to group programme enquiries and bookings, keep accurate, GDPR compliant records of participants, send information to participants in a timely manner 
5. Administer the accessibility fund with support from the Finance Administrator 
6. Support the delivery of groups in collaboration with other Self Injury Support team members 
7. In collaboration with the Self Injury Support safeguarding team, ensure all safeguarding concerns are addressed promptly and recorded in line with organisational policy 
8. Take part in personal reflective practice and professional development training as needed 

Review and Evaluation 

1. Plan appropriate evaluation and monitoring of the groups programme which encompasses the experiences of participants and facilitators and aligns with wider organisational service monitoring 
2. Present evaluation findings in reports for the board of trustees and funders as needed 

Other 

1. Attend organisational team meetings and support organisational events and campaigns.
2. Any other duties relevant to your role as requested by your line manager

Requirements

This role would suit someone with a strong history of using the power of words to inspire positive action, an eye for solid design and experience of digital marketing to business audiences (either as part of a B2B or charity corporate fundraising programme).

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Develop engaging content for LinkedIn, original articles, guides, website, email newsletters, social posts, and impact reports
• Marketing and Fundraising Collateral: Production of collateral for Dot Impact, Midnight Madness and other new events, including pitch decks and brochures.
• Testing Fundraising Ideas: Produce marketing materials for new fundraising initiatives and pilots.
• Marketing Activity: Implementation of existing marketing plan which includes organising talks, events, and webinars to engage new audiences and seeking opportunities for third-party posts, articles, and podcast appearances.
• Donor Pipeline and Stewardship: Work with the Development & Partnerships Manager to produce content for lead generation and donor stewardship.
• Digital Marketing: Run paid acquisition campaigns, optimise user journeys, and use Google Analytics to track effectiveness.

About the role

As The National Partnership Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development function for Scotland. You will manage a team of embedded Senior Project Officers working within the partner national organisations and delivering in partnership with a broad range of local stakeholders to develop and deliver local Active Travel Strategies, Visions and Plans.

You will work closely with colleagues to secure funding for our work, capturing and communicating the impacts of better places for people.  You will ensure our for everyone values – to strengthen diversity and inclusion across the charity, whilst ensuring that a more systematic approach to the embedding of our ‘for everyone’ principles permeates through our work.

You will advocate for sustainable transport across the region, and you will use that platform to influence local decision makers, through engaging in policy and planning work, leading on communications, and contributing to a coordinated approach to business development opportunities in Scotland.

You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people across governance tiers within national partner organizations. You will work with internal and external partners to build the team’s knowledge and capacity around inclusive programme design and delivery.  In this respect, working to ensure that our partnership programmes are for everyone and do not have unintended consequences for disadvantaged population groups. 

This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans. 

About you

You should be an experienced leader, expert at developing and maintaining relationships at senior levels in a variety of sectors e.g. National organizations, Local Authority, business and industry bodies. You should have line management experience and substantial experience of project management, including budget management.

You must have the ability to communicate authoritatively and persuasively to a range of audiences, with demonstrable experience of remote and face-to-face partnership development techniques.

Job Purpose

Reporting to and supported by the Head of Impact, Learning & Organisational Development, this role is instrumental in building a solid foundation for the future of Babbasa.  You will be responsible for trusts/ foundations grants research, applications, administration and impact reporting to funders. You will also work on building relationships with philanthropists and work with the Communications Lead in developing appropriate fundraising communications. 

Core Responsibilities

Fundraising development

• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities for our youth empowerment programmes, as well as for research and innovation opportunities to expand our existing offer.

• Responsible for trust and foundation grant applications, including bid conceptualisation, proposal writing, fundraising budget creation and application review.

• Support / develop relationships with philanthropists with a view to securing major gifts and legacies.

• Maintain and develop authentic and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to effectively steward them.

• Work with and deputise for the Head of Impact, Learning & Organisational Development to steward funders with the aim of achieving Babbasa’s annual revenue target.

Management & Reporting

• Track, review and report progress against the Business Plan to the Head of Impact, Learning & Organisational Development and the wider team using our Monday CRM system.

About this key role

Join AWT as our new Environmental Economist & Nature Recovery Land Buyer and you will make a significant contribution to achieving our goals of creating 1000ha of new habitat by 2030, with the Trust purchasing at least 100ha of new land.  

This exciting area of work offers significant opportunities to tackle the climate and ecological crises. AWT has a wealth of ecological expertise and is a leader in local environmental markets having developed BNG and Bat credits and processes.

You will work with the Senior Leadership Team and expert ecologists, to develop the vision for large-scale land purchases and improvements to our existing reserves.  With your background in environmental economics, you will assess the multiple benefits each project could offer and develop business cases that facilitate investment from the emerging green finance markets. Resulting in a prospectus of land purchase opportunities which will guide the Trust’s ambitions up to 2030.

You will also support the Head of Nature Recovery with land purchases, giving you the chance to input into projects as they develop and see theoretical benefits come to life.

Key Tasks:

· Using  AWT’s Green Finance Review Process, carry out assessments of existing reserves and land on the open market, to enable the creation of a fully costed Land Purchase Prospectus, which will inform AWT’s actions for years to come.

· Lead the acquisition process for AWT's first Nature Recovery land purchase - aiming to be completed by the end of 2024.

· Work closely with senior staff to develop AWT’s customer base for credit sales. Initially focusing on Biodiversity Net Gain, bat credits and carbon credits.

Parentkind has been active in corporate fundraising for less than one year but has already delivered partnerships totalling multiple seven figures in value.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing fundraising team and help to develop our successful corporate partnerships department even further. We are looking for someone with experience in securing a range of partnerships (including COTY, corporate grants, sponsorship, commercial and strategic relationships) with regional and national businesses with the capacity bank income at a 5, 6 and 7-figure level. You will be tenacious in your prospect research, and comfortable to package up creative propositions and compelling proposals tailored to each organisation's objectives.

The Role

The foundation is a registered charity which exists to improve the quality of life of people (children, young people and adults) with severe learning disabilities whose behaviour challenges and the families who support them.

We are currently looking for a Co-production & Engagement Lead to deliver a 3-year project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.  Working closely with a small friendly staff team, and 3 regional family carers (specifically employed for this project), you will be responsible for developing 3 regional networks across England, sharing best practice locally and nationally, linking with the Challenging Behaviour – National Strategy Group, and ensuring co-production and family carer engagement is promoted and embedded as best practice.

You will have up to date and relevant knowledge and/or experience of children’s and/or adult policy and practices (learning disabilities) across health, education and social care and be fully committed to working in co-production and supporting family carers to fully engage as partners in the process to achieve the best outcomes.

A proven project manager, who thinks strategically and has the ability to work with a range of stakeholders across multiple sites, You will need to be highly organised, skilled at project management, knowledgeable about current policy and practices, and a confident communicator adept at influencing a wide range of stakeholders.

The Individual Giving Manager in the Mass Fundraising team will work closely with the Senior Individual Giving Manager and Mass Lead to develop the programme across membership, lottery, raffle and digital fundraising.

About the role:

We have two events-based roles to support our training and development courses. These courses are delivered either face-to-face or hybrid and are often delivered by a team of the organisation’s members. We use tools such as WebEx, MS Teams and Slido to support the delivery. There is an agreed schedule for the rest of 2024 for our public (open) training plus some bespoke, in-house training to be agreed upon with clients. The Discover DeCrypt Trustees wish to appoint a self-employed fundraising consultant to undertake fundraising to achieve at a minimum the matched funding target (circa £92k) for submission of The National Lottery Heritage Fund Round 2 bid for The Sanctuary Project in St Mary de Crypt Church, Gloucester. The work will need to be carried out between July 2024 and July 2025 with all matched funding pledged by that end date and any surplus funding contributing to unrestricted reserves.

Introduction Discover DeCrypt undertook a major Heritage Fund project between Jan 2018 and March 2022. This capital project saw the reimagining of the church and adjoining Tudor schoolroom buildings. The project saw the Victorian pews removed (and repurposed), a lift (sympathetic to the buildings) installed, new toilet facilities, new heating system, new fire and intruder system, new lighting scheme and a new kitchen. Underfloor heating was installed within the nave and a new floor laid. The schoolroom was made safe and usable as it had reached the point where it was unsafe for the public to access. There was new interpretation in both the church and schoolroom.

An important aspect of this project was community outreach as the buildings sit within the city centre and had lost much of the original congregation and community. After the initial capital phase, three years of operational support was designed to help embed the charity within the community through volunteer recruitment, workshops, activities, concerts, art exhibitions and theatre. The church has also grown over this period, with regular services, weddings, funerals, and christenings.

The Sanctuary Project is the next phase of the Discover DeCrypt Story. It will see the conservation and interpretation of important Mediaeval and Tudor Wall paintings, Mediaeval stonework, and Victorian stained-glass windows. As well as the conservation work, the Sanctuary area and the elements within it will be researched and interpreted for the visitors to understand and enjoy. A very important part of this project is community engagement and audience development including giving students and the wider public access to conservation and heritage skills.

This role is funded by The National Heritage Lottery Fund thanks to National Lottery players.
