Beacon is looking for a self-starter with energy and enthusiasm for our cause. We are a well-established and well-respected local charity. We have had an active fundraising function in the past, but due to a change of personnel, this has been inactive for over a year. As an organisation, we have some exciting ideas and plans, and a great deal of enthusiasm, but require somebody to join our team and take the lead in re-igniting, developing and delivering our fundraising activities. 

Main objectives of the role:

• To work with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement a fundraising strategy for Beacon Counselling that increases income and support for the charity in furtherance of Beacon’s charitable objectives.
• To develop and deliver a calendar of events and activities to engage support and raise fundraised income for Beacon Counselling.
• To recruit, support and manage fundraising volunteers.
• To identify and nurture key relationships with potential and existing supporters of Beacon’s work, raising the charity’s profile.

Hybrid working is available, with at least 1 day per fortnight in the office.

Heritage of London Trust restores the buildings and monuments that tell the story of the city and the people who live within it. Founded over 40 years ago, our mission was to rescue characterful and neglected historic sites all across the city. We are now looking for a dedicated fundraiser who will help us build on our relationship based fundraising activity to grow our income. The Head of Philanthropy is a new role reporting to the Chief Executive.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fundraiser, working full-time on-site. The Fundraiser who will play an integral role within our team, working with the CEO, and senior management team, responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, organising events and campaigns, maintaining donor relationships, and researching and identifying new funding opportunities, building a strong pipeline of core and restricted funding, as well as donations and gifts.

You will seek to maximise funding opportunities, expand our portfolio of grant funders, and contribute to a growth in income from Trusts & Foundations. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying prospective funders, writing, and submitting high-quality grant applications, and delivering excellent grant management.

You should be a proactive self-starter, with excellent written communication skills and demonstrable strong attention to detail. With experience of successful fundraising bids to trust, charities and local authority, working with grant applications and/or funding proposals utilising a range of tools to identify new funding opportunities, as well as some experience of philanthropic fundraising.

The role

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support our CEO and COO. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention for details. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced operations manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who will help strengthen the foundations of our organisation, as well as help us expand our growing network of partner organisations across the UK. 

As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with strategic planning and management. Building on what has already been done, you will work directly with the CEO to help build the operational structure of Big Green Heart, and support its day-to-day operations. 

You will also facilitate the national deployment of Big Green Heart workshops across the UK, and will work with the CEO and trustees to implement the strategy needed to upscale the work of Big Green Heart.

About You:

The Role:

Return Fundraising was founded in 2015 with a clear mission: to bring together professional charity and agency fundraisers to improve the voice of telephone fundraising. We’ve been growing ever since: pioneering supporter-led fundraising with genuine conversations and long-term relationships. 

Now, with new products gaining momentum and the business attracting new clients, we are again planning to expand our team, and are looking for the very best to jump aboard. The Client Services team is looking for an account executive to build and manage relationships with clients and help them to deliver exceptional supporter-led fundraising.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop strong relationships with clients and proactively keep in regular contact, particularly by phone and in person

 About the Role:

In the role of Membership Development Officer, you will be instrumental in growing and cultivating our membership base, overseeing membership administration, and improving our digital footprint.  Main Responsibilities:

- Membership Administration (50%):

- Process new membership applications across various categories.

- Respond to inquiries and manage member communications.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Events, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for looking at long term commercial growth across the Events Team.
