The Volunteer Management team is responsible for embedding an organisational approach to volunteer engagement which enables volunteers to feel inspired, valued, supported, and connected to the charity, where they are a vital part of our community.

The Volunteer Coordinator plays a significant part in contributing to the success of the team in coordinating key parts of the ‘volunteer journey’ (recruiting, induction, training, supporting, and retaining volunteers). Of equal importance is influencing colleagues and providing advice and guidance whilst building collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders. The role is vital to establishing good practice in volunteer involvement, developing a culture of positive engagement and raising the profile of volunteering internally and externally.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract

Key Responsibilities:

Relationships, teamwork and collaboration

· Build strong relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders across the charity to identify and implement ways to enrich the volunteer experience, maximise the volunteer opportunities and strengthen the volunteer infrastructure.

· Work collaboratively with teams that manage volunteers to provide good practice advice and guidance on effective volunteer supervision.

· Promote a positive culture of engagement that values, embeds, and promotes the work of volunteers both internally and externally.

· Take a proactive approach to understand external events and initiatives taking place across the charity, providing advice, guidance and support on the requirements for successful volunteer involvement.

Communication, resources and training

· In conjunction with the Volunteer Manager, coordinate the review, development and implementation of robust practices and procedures associated with all aspects of the volunteer journey.

· Working collaboratively with teams that manage volunteers, support with the development and implementation of volunteer training and associated resources.

· Lead on the upkeep of volunteering information on internal communication channels, ensuring all relevant policies, reference materials and documents are made available and kept up to date.

· Contribute to the production and distribution of resources for volunteer-involving events, including, but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, and training materials.

Administration, customer service and delivery

· Provide high-level customer service throughout the volunteer journey; contributing to recruitment, induction, training, support, retention and exit of volunteers in line with our values and strategy.

· Acting as a key point of contact for the import, maintenance and integrity of volunteering data, working with colleagues to ensure accuracy, validity and reliability that reflects volunteer contribution and delivers reliable insights.

· Coordinate the administration volunteer recruitment and selection process to foster an environment that promotes equality, diversity and inclusivity and ensure a fair and consistent approach is followed.

· Act as the first port of contact for internal and external enquiries, coordinating the shared volunteer email inbox.

· Lead and support the effective delivery of volunteer involving activities at weekend events, where necessary. 

What we are looking for:

· Strong understanding of the principles and good practice of successful volunteer involvement including recruitment, selection, induction, training, support, recognition, and retention.

· Knowledge of IT packages such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Significant experience of working to recruit, support, engage, and manage volunteers.

· Experience of working within the charity sector.

· Experience of working in a customer-service or people-facing environment.

· Experience of working with partners and/or external agencies.

· Experience of processing and/or handling personal (sensitive) data.

· Experience of evaluating volunteer activities and projects.

· Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at various levels across the charity.

· Excellent communication skills, including networking and presentation skills.

· Strong negotiating, influencing and problem-solving skills.

· Developed organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.

· A conscientious approach to work and good time management skills.

Ways of working:

As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals.  This includes when attending the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the Money Heroes teacher training and mentoring offer, helping educators feel confident and well supported.
• Keep track of programme activities using databases and spreadsheets, including teacher and parent sign-ups and training or mentoring events.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team and Programme Manager to support the growth and visibility of the programme, including contributing to marketing communications and coordinating activity to maintain engagement.

• This is a hybrid role based in London or Oxford, with a minimum of 8 office days per month

You’ll keep our CRM, Raiser’s Edge NXT, accurate and up to date through daily data input, following our policies, and other regulatory requirements. You’ll develop a good understanding of our activity calendar and how it affects our customers, build positive relationships with them, and act as their advocate internally and with our fulfilment house when needed.

BrightPIP (Brighton Parent/Infant Psychological Therapy) is a specialist infant mental health charity supporting babies aged 0–2 and their families across Brighton & Hove and Sussex. ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and highly organised Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator to grow BrightPIP’s visibility, income and community engagement. This role sits at the heart of BrightPIP’s external presence, working closely with clinicians, trustees and supporters to tell our story and build sustainable income.

About the Role
Fundraising and philanthropic advocacy are at the heart of GiveOut’s work. As Philanthropy Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Philanthropy team, supporting our philanthropy programme and working closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Senior Philanthropy Officers.

You will have responsibilities in three main areas: helping with internal programme coordination, supporting colleagues on key donor relationships and fundraising, and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Programme & Team Coordination

  • Manage calendars, schedule internal meetings, help bring together agendas, book meeting rooms, and take minutes where required

  • Help maintain internal documents & systems such as fundraising pipeline, internal reporting and project management tools.

  • Maintain database to ensure accurate donor information in GiveOut’s CRM 

  • Coordinate monthly finance reconciliation tasks for Philanthropy Team

  • Work with colleagues on shared processes, including finance and reporting

  • Contribute to a dynamic, fun and effective organisation

• Supporting Donor Relationships

  • Triage donor requests, responding where appropriate 

  • Schedule external meetings and calls

  • Create and send invoices to donors 

  • Create fundraising campaigns across third party platforms such as Benevity, JustGiving and CAF. 

  • Ensure we have necessary information to claim Gift Aid on eligible donations

  • Support on reporting to donors on the impact of their giving, building donation reports from database, liaising with internal teams, and using templates to build reports

The Role

As Youth Work Coordinator, you will take a lead role in the planning, coordination and delivery of youth clubs and activities. You will be responsible for setting up and developing new sessions, coordinating day-to-day delivery, supporting youth workers and volunteers, and ensuring high-quality youth work practice in line with the YMCA Youth Work Strategy and Principles.

You will also work closely with local partners, schools, and community stakeholders to strengthen engagement and create positive opportunities for young people. This is a hands-on role combining direct youth work, outreach, and leadership responsibilities.

The role includes working 2–3 days per week after school, with some evening work required. Additional daytime hours are allocated for planning, coordination, partnership working, and administration, bringing the total to 37.5 hours per week.

The Role

Nottingham Contemporary is a leading centre of contemporary art in Europe, and among the largest spaces of its kind in the UK. We have an exciting vacancy for a Development Coordinator to join our dynamic and supportive Development team, to assist with securing funding for the future of our organisation. As Development Coordinator, you will support the Senior Development Manager and Director to achieve our ambitious fundraising strategy. Your main accountabilities will include:

• Providing administrative oversight of key areas related to gaining income from a wide range of sources, including but not limited to trusts and foundations, individual donors, and corporate giving (including from commercial galleries).

• Researching, drafting and preparing timely project and funding report templates and reports.

• Supporting the Director and Senior Development Manager in strategically cultivating and stewarding individual donors, as well as corporate and strategic partners.

• Undertaking prospect research, including due diligence of individual donors, researching opportunities for funding through Trusts and Foundations, and identifying relevant local and national government grant schemes.

• Supporting the planning, drafting and submission of grant applications and funding reports, with the aim of leading on select applications and reports over time.

• Supporting the planning and delivering of a high-quality programme of supporter, VIP and external events.

Black Thrive are looking for a motivated Project Coordinator to join the Thriving Futures team. This role will be dedicated to support the organisational workstreams to deliver engaging programmes to Black communities both regionally and nationally.

Project and relationship management skills and experience are key in this role and requires knowledge or experience working in a projects/programme coordination environment. We’re looking for someone who has excellent administrative and stakeholder management skills, as much of this role will be leading on overseeing the delivery of the programme with external stakeholders (up to senior level), who are driving delivery both locally and strategically.

You will be supporting the Thriving Futures Partnerships and Programme Manager, to monitor and deliver the objectives of the project. This will be a combination of design, delivery, analysis, evaluation and report writing; to help us tell the story of our progress along the way.

Black Thrive uses a work systems application and Microsoft Excel to efficiently track and achieve the strategic objectives of the Thriving Futures - Scaling Systems Change programme.

• Relationship management with project leads and teams across London, Birmingham, Scotland, and Wales, encouraging strong collaboration, best practice and communication.
• Provide tailored one-to-one support in facilitating monthly face to face team and hybrid meetings to resolve challenges and co-develop practical solutions. 
• Monitor project delivery across workstreams to ensure deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Track and manage changes, risks, and issues, maintaining up-to-date logs and dashboards to support effective decision-making.
• Budget monitoring, escalating discrepancies and coordinate financial processes, including requesting invoices.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data to produce accurate reports that demonstrate programme impact to funders.
• Maintain and update Black Thrive’s project management system to ensure efficient and transparent delivery of the Thriving Futures workstream.

• Manage associated administration such as diary coordination, agenda preparation, presentation design, minute-taking, and action tracking.
• Oversee the communications calendar, filter content requests, and draft compelling internal and external communications drafts to promote Thriving Futures activities.
• Provide on the ground backbone support to localities through one-to-one guidance and in-person visits, strengthening programme delivery.
• Represent the programme at key engagement events; including community assemblies and workshops that may occur outside core working hours.
• Contribute flexibly to cross-functional delivery activities across localities as required.
• Collaborate with the Black Thrive Global HR & Admin Manager and the Operations team on broader team initiatives as needed.

This is a great opportunity for someone to join our service supporting Unpaid Carers across Lewisham. In this role, you will work closely with Primary Care Networks, GP practices, local authorities, social workers, voluntary sector, community centres, and faith groups to help identify and engage with Unpaid Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers and Young Carers.  

In this role, you will support services to improve registration, communication, support and accessibility, promoting ‘Carer Friendly’ environments and practice that supports the wellbeing of Unpaid Carers.  

You’ll need to be able to develop effective relationships with key staff, agree action plans, establish communication pathways and provide updates. By collating and sharing successes, you will support the development of good practice across primary healthcare, social care and community services in the borough.

This is a 9 month fixed-term role and applicants will need relevant personal or professional experience of working with Unpaid Carers and/or vulnerable adults or children in a social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector. You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Unpaid Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services.  

You should be an excellent communicator and able to establish relationships at all levels. This is a full-time role.
