About You:
As our Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our fundraising strategy. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to raise unrestricted income by engaging schools and workplaces to participate in Christmas Jumper Day and raise much-needed funds for children for 6 months of the year. For the other 6 months of the year, you will lead marketing and fundraising projects across Public Income and Engagement to drive us towards Save the Children's goal of raising £60 million by 2030.
You will also lead on the development of multi-channel marketing plans, with a focus on audience, to drive ambitious brand awareness, supporter action, income and loyalty targets including email, display, paid social, direct mail, TV, radio and out of home, across a range of engagement opportunities and propositions (legacies, regular giving, emergencies and mass participation)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to attract and engage supporters to drive participation and income generation for Christmas Jumper Day.
- Lead the development of multi-channel marketing plans, with a focus on audience and insight.
- Lead the team's relationship with the media buying agency to buy and optimize media.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with key partners such as marketing agencies, production companies, and fulfilment agencies, motivating and inspiring them to deliver their best for Save the Children.
- Inspire internal partners and colleagues to focus on raising money around the Christmas Jumper Day campaign.
- Manage team budgets and reporting.
- Support the Deputy Director of Public Income and Engagement to lead fundraising and marketing projects outside the Christmas Jumper Day campaign period.
Key Requirements:
- Significant experience in marketing, including developing complex and integrated multi-channel marketing plans, data analysis, and audience planning.
- Outstanding project management skills with a proven ability to plan and manage activity that delivers complex projects on time and to budget.
- Extensive experience in effectively managing external partners, including working with media agencies, creative agencies, and fulfilment agencies.
- Experience in developing marketing assets to drive engagement and action.
- Experience in developing engaging supporter journeys across channels.
- Ability to provide technical leadership for the organization in delivering marketing across various media types.
- Experience in managing budgets.
- Strong numerical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze complex data for strategic decision-making.
Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK. However, for this role, you will be required to work from our Farringdon Office in London on average 1 day a week. Travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense.

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser, to lead on Neuroscience related fundraising for the Departments of Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences as part of the friendly team working across the Medical Sciences Division at the University of Oxford.

About the role:
This fundraiser will work closely with the Heads of Departments and academics in the Departments of Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences. The post will focus primarily on funding for research, academic posts, scholarships and infrastructure related to Neuroscience which includes Mental Health and neurological disease (e.g. Motor Neurone Disease, Dementia, Parkinson’s, Stroke and Epilepsy). The fundraiser will work on special projects including the possible major capital redevelopment of the Warneford site. This will include collection, collation and dissemination of learning and evidence from across key country and donor markets. You will also be responsible for the dissemination and communication through various platforms, social media outlets. Within this role you will play a key role in highlighting both internally and externally the health team's achievements and keep the Movement updated on the impact they have had both in the UK and globally, while also reporting on all active grants and partnerships. You will get to work closely with all technical advisors and play an important role in the production of the team's publications as well as in organising policy advocacy events at the UK parliamentary and global levels.
In this role, you will:
- Lead on the learning, reporting and communications for the health team, including on the various advocacy projects, grants and workstreams.
- Play a leading role in editing the health team's reports and policy briefing documents, including any research, fact-checking or writing that is required.
- Lead on updating and maintaining the health team's web pages. While maintaining brand requirements.
- Deliver high-quality editorial content for a wide range of planned key corporate communications, in line with the organisation's priorities and brand, implementing Save the Children's editorial style and standards.

Wader populations have declined dramatically across the UK in recent decades. The RSPB and its partners are working to try and reverse these declines in Norfolk and Suffolk. Farmers and land managers play a crucial role in creating and improving habitats for iconic species such as Lapwing and Redshank, with the support of experienced advisers. Could this be you? Are you inspired by the challenge of restoring populations of our precious farmland wildlife across two nationally important landscapes? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
The post holder will work closely with our local RSPB team. They will identify opportunities and work with landowners to improve grassland habitats for species such as Lapwing, Redshank, Avocet and Oystercatcher. This will be delivered by carrying out site visits, liaising with the landowner to ensure the needs of and benefits to the farm business are incorporated, suggesting improvements to water level management, developing grazing schemes, and developing funding applications with landowners. The role will also involve liaising with partners including Natural England, Norfolk and Suffolk Wildlife Trusts, National Trust, the Broads Authority and the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape.
The Wet Grassland Adviser will play a key role in supporting farmers and land managers to improve wet grassland habitats for nature, including through:
- Building partnerships with and between landowners, NGOs and other stakeholders
- Providing advice to farm businesses with new and existing agri-environment scheme agreements
- Designing habitat enhancement schemes which benefit breeding waders (with support from other staff)
- Managing a team of volunteers carrying out breeding wader surveys
- Developing communications and organising events for land managers to build support and share experience
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Demonstrable experience of conservation and/or agricultural land management, or of providing landowner advice
- Demonstrate an understanding of the farmed environment and the economics driving it.
- Excellent knowledge of wet grassland ecology and general natural history, with a focus on breeding waders.
- In depth experience of agri-environment schemes (e.g. Countryside Stewardship, Environmental Land Management Schemes) and their application.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentational) - including an ability to speak confidently in public to a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrable experience of engaging with the farming community.
- Experience of building productive relationships with land managers and partner organisations.
