This role balances strategy, leadership, and delivery as you will need to introduce the organisation into new ways of working while also ensuring our content quality is high.
This is a pivotal role as you will essentially runs the content delivery system governance and processes for the organisation and connect all content creators in the organisation. Therefore, you will need to come with experience of leading content delivery system change, through broad teams, in large complex organisation.

What will I be doing?
Lead and execute the content delivery transformation, including CMS migration and the implementation of new processes
Establish and enforce content guidelines for CRUK, ensuring compliance for all published materials
Oversee the upskilling of content producers across CRUK, focusing on tool proficiency, as well as content measurement and monitoring
Refresh and deliver a continually evolving content strategy across the organisation as our capabilities evolve
Identify gaps and opportunities for content across Cancer Research UK and feed those into our strategy(such as linking better with our core brand and messaging and linking with non-web content)
Work closely with leadership to Identify and create KPIs and OKRs that support decision making and our strategy around content
Be accountable for leading a team of content specialists that support the organisation where capacity is limited, or the skills are not present
Responsible for making sure audience insights from content work are accessible and actionable across the organisation
Define and oversee the end-to-end content and production development process, from research and ideation to planning, execution and measurement
Lead your team to build capability around content creation, maintenance and analysis across the organisation where appropriate
What are you looking for?
Experience of leading content delivery system change, through broad teams, in large complex organisations
Significant leadership experience, with proven track record of delivering results through vision setting effective team leadership and collaboration.
Experience of collaborating closely with content owning teams, subject matter experts and other stakeholders to develop engaging content aligned to CRUKs strategy and audience needs
Familiarity working with experience design, research and analysis methodologies
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and digital asset management (DAM) platforms and taxonomy for organising and distributing content effectively
Significant understanding of end-to-end supporter journeys and how the content delivery system performs a key role

What will I be doing?
Creates and maintains the direct contact marketing calendar (including email, SMS, and direct mail) in alignment with the overall marketing calendar set by Marketing Planning.
Manage and iterate the cross-organisational supporter contact strategy and work with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in for this across all areas of the charity.
Review and update the contact model when needed working with key teams such as Data Security to ensure it is aligned with our data governance policy.
Identify and explore new opportunities to increase the contactable supporter base. This will include understanding new potential data sources and working with relevant teams across CRUK to identify supporters we are not contacting.
Lead the requirement gathering for any new contactable supporter initiatives such as lead generation
Identify opportunities to communicate with supporters in innovative ways to drive engagement and loyalty and for new lead generation opportunities.
Work closely with the Technology team to resource and deliver the changes required to underpin a supporter-centric approach to strategic marketing planning and delivery.
Work with data and insight experts to ensure we are effectively using data to target the right individuals with the right message at the right time.
What are you looking for?
Proven track record in below the line marketing / CRM
Significant understanding of end-to-end supporter/Customer journeys and the role of different marketing channels in fully integrated campaigns, with the ability to think about bigger picture priorities and translate strategy into operational planning and delivery
Understanding of marketing permissions landscape and governance
Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Significant project management experience with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and objectives effectively, with a flexible approach to adapt to changing priorities.

Cancer Research UKs Philanthropy team bought in c40 Million pounds last year for our life saving Research. We have an opportunity for a Gift Processing, Governance & Reporting Senior Executive Senior Executive to join our Francis Crick team who contributed 18m to that total.
This role is responsible for tracking and reporting on philanthropy income to enable successful delivery of the Crick philanthropy programme. You will also partner with teams across CRUK and the Crick to manage the systems and processes for governance and reporting between both organisations.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your finance and data skills as well as your project management and stakeholder management experience, working at our prestigious Francis Crick Institute. You'll work with a variety of different stakeholders, from senior leaders, scientists and academics making for an interesting and dynamic role .
What will I be doing?
Responsible for tracking and reporting on philanthropy income to enable successful delivery of the Crick philanthropy programme.
Responsible for overseeing Governance, Reporting & Due Diligence processes for Science Management Committee, Finance Committee, Executive Committee, Board and Development Committee.
Responsible for delivery of Crick grant awarding process to ensure CRUK gifts are paid to the Crick including confirming Crick sign-off, and receipts.
Responsible for managing and coordinating the Crick Philanthropy Team budget and coordinating the CRUK/Crick monthly finance reports for Crick finance.
Responsible for coordinating and developing proposals for gifts granted via international partnership collaboration with Donor Relations Manager.
Coordinate and collate input from stakeholders on governance papers. Work with I&R Senior Manager & PD Senior Manager to secure performance metrics for governance papers
What are you looking for?
Experience of and proficiency in financial forecasting, reporting, processes and performance monitoring.
Experience of using a customer relationship management database e.g. Raisers Edge, Finance Database or Siebel for a variety of data entry, administration tasks and associated analysis
Experience of developing and maintaining governance policies and frameworks.

We are recruiting a Lead Supplier Performance Manager to sit within the Supporter engagement team within the Marketing Fundraising and Engagement directorate (MFE). The role will lead the delivery of supplier performance management for 2 high value/high risk suppliers, one for telemarketing and one for fulfilment. You will also lead and manage a team of Supplier Account Managers (x3) and Execs (x2) to develop and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers to ensure they deliver a great supporter experience, delivering service to the agreed levels

What will I be doing?
Working collaboratively across MFE, promoting and delivering effective contract management for high value/high risk suppliers ensuring they effectively undertake their contractual obligations to agreed standards and KPI's.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across MFE and with other parts of CRUK, in particular Procurement and Legal.
Develop relevant strategic supplier relationships that will aid the delivery of MFE's strategy.
Develop and embed contract management framework across the directorate, and work collaboratively with Procurement and Legal to develop best practice for CRUK where appropriate.
Ensure supplier performance scorecards are developed, completed and reported in collaboration with Procurement.
Maximise the ROI on spend with suppliers.
Ensure internal tools and frameworks are utilised to add value, drive supplier performance and maximise consistency across the Directorate as well as CRUK where relevant i.e. contributing to best practice for CRUK
Act as a point of escalation to support and guide Account Managers to resolve any issues relating to supplier's performance and manage engagement with Procurement and Legal when necessary.
