We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader based in the London and the South East to join our Homicide Service team. This role involves managing and supporting operational staff to ensure the delivery of excellent services to those affected by homicide.

The London and South East area covers London, Surrey, Kent, East & West Sussex. It is a requirement that you live within one of these area in order to support your team and carry out this role effectively.

About the Role:

As a Homicide Team Leader, you will ensure the provision of high-quality services, maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, and provide strategic leadership to promote and develop our services.

As a Homicide Team Leader, you will:

The Wiener Holocaust Library (WHL) is the world’s oldest Holocaust archive and the home of Britain’s largest collection of published and unpublished works, documents and photographs relating to the Nazi era.

As a Caseworker you will be supporting adults to:

• Ensure the delivery of excellent services to victims of crime through the direct provision of information and practical and emotional help from the point of crime, and onwards throughout the criminal justice process, where appropriate

Role purpose

Compass is a service designed to support adults (18 years and over) in H&F and Hounslow. The service provides support with welfare benefits, debt, housing and well-being/peer support groups/workshops.

The role of the Information and Advice Worker will be to provide advice, guidance and customer representation to H&F and Hounslow residents living with mental health problems. Advice issues may include, housing, benefits, council tax, debt, signposting etc.

The successful candidate will deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals as agreed with the service manager. In addition to advice casework, the Advice Worker will also be expected to assist onboarding referrals to the service when needed.

The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the Advice Team Leader and volunteers supporting on the project.  

The Advice Worker will be required to work within the Advice Quality Standard framework (AQS), adhere to Mind’s policies and procedures.

Due to the nature of the work, if successful, you will need to have an up-to-date DBS check completed prior to undertaking unsupervised client work.  

Place of work

The Advice Worker will be required to work both from home and the H&F and Hounslow office when necessary, alongside work in the community.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals as agreed with the service manager.

As an Executive Assistant (EA) based in the Headquarters of Care after Combat, your role will be busy and dynamic and will include working with the whole team and across all aspects of Care after Combat’s business. You will work to the CEO but will also support the Management Team (Deputy CEO/Operations Lead, Deputy Operations Lead). You will be the focal point for HR, Policy & Plans, and Communications. We are working in partnership with Richard House Children’s Hospice to secure their new Corporate Fundraiser. Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters. 

The Corporate Fundraiser will be responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects and partners, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey. Key responsibilities will include prospect research and new business development, compelling proposal and proposition creation, account management and event and campaign planning. The role will be hands on, focused on operational fundraising that delivers crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable corporate income for Richard House.

This role is offered on an interim basis, but with the option to become permanent.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven ability to deliver income and activity targets in corporate fundraising, with a strong knowledge of corporate fundraising techniques.
• A track record in fundraising with evidence of the successful stewardship of four-figure and above partnerships/gifts, ideally with some exposure to multi-year partnerships.

About the role:

We are looking for a Caseworker, to cover Wyre Fylde Lancaster and surrounding areas. You will be working primarily in targeted schools across your area and therefore this role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. • Proactively targeting new schools to engage with the service in delivering group interventions.
• Responsible for case management, report writing, outcomes recording and collecting other data.

You will need: -

• Considerable experience of working with children and young people, experience of delivering groups would be advantageous.
• You will have a thorough understanding of the impact of Domestic Abuse on children and young people.
• Experience of risk assessment and case management.

You will be fully supported by a team manager and a network of experienced practitioners within the EXCEED team, however this role is a standalone service and you will be responsible for the direct 1-2-1 delivery of this service.

This role will be working In Torbay, building on existing relationships that are already established to support a number of young people whom have been identified as experiencing harm via sexual exploitation and will work alongside the young person and professional team to respond to concerns and promote increased protective strategies, recovery and support.
