Job description

At Catalyst Support, we believe that wellness should be a right for everyone.

We are a Surrey charity supporting people and communities with their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. Our work is built on kindness, integrity and commitment, and on the belief that the strongest services are created when organisations work together.

We are looking for a Community Partnership Programme Lead to join our Community Connections service and help us strengthen the network of organisations we work alongside across Surrey.

This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys bringing people together, turning ideas into action and making sure good partnerships translate into great services for local people.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with our Senior Manager, Team Leaders and colleagues across Catalyst Support, you will:

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with our community and voluntary sector partners.
  • Coordinate partner programmes and activities across Community Connections.
  • Help identify gaps in local provision and opportunities to develop new activities and partnerships.
  • Support the mobilisation of new partner-led activities and services.
  • Monitor partner activity, outcomes, attendance, quality and agreed actions.
  • Maintain oversight of partner assurance, including safeguarding, DBS arrangements, training and governance requirements.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure partnership activity contributes to service performance and commissioner reporting.
  • Help ensure our resources are being used effectively and partner activity is delivering meaningful outcomes.
  • Make sure risks, concerns and quality issues are identified, followed through and escalated appropriately.

About you

You don't necessarily need to have followed one particular career path. What matters is that you're organised, collaborative and passionate about making partnerships work.

You'll ideally bring experience of partnership, programme, project or service coordination within health, social care, community or voluntary sector services, or a closely related environment.

You'll be confident managing multiple priorities, keeping track of actions and deadlines and building constructive relationships with a wide range of people.

Experience of commissioned mental health, wellbeing or community services, VCSE partnerships, contract monitoring or commissioner reporting would be an advantage, as would knowledge of Surrey's communities and local voluntary sector.

Why Catalyst Support?

This is a role where you can see the difference your work makes.

You'll help connect organisations and communities, strengthen the quality and reach of our services and make sure people across Surrey can access the right support and opportunities.

We particularly welcome applicants who bring lived experience and perspectives that can help us understand the communities we serve.

Catalyst Support is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and to providing reasonable adjustments throughout recruitment and employment.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. A previous criminal record or history of drug or alcohol issues will not necessarily prevent appointment.

If you're a natural organiser, relationship-builder and problem-solver who wants to use those skills to improve people's wellbeing, we'd love to hear from you.
