About the role:
This maternity cover role offers the opportunity to work in close partnership with the Chief Executive, supporting effective leadership and strong governance at Single Homeless Project. As Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive, you’ll be right where leadership, governance and momentum meet, helping SHP stay focused, responsive and ambitious. You’ll support the organisation to make confident decisions and keep moving forward with purpose, often by ensuring the right conversations happen at the right time and with the right information in the room.
You’ll work closely with the Chief Executive, Executive Management Team and Board of Trustees, bringing clarity and structure to complex priorities. Day to day, this means preparing leaders for meetings, coordinating senior leadership and Board activity, managing the flow of papers, actions and follow-up, and ensuring governance processes run smoothly and transparently. From supporting strategic discussions to keeping track of commitments and decisions, your contribution will shape how the organisation operates and how ideas turn into action. Scope of the role
· EA support to Chief Executive and Leadership Team, Chair, Board of Trustees and Committees (55%)
· Administrative and project support to the Director of Finance & Operations and HR Consultant covering Finance, IT, HR, Volunteer Management and Operations (35%)

Key areas of responsibility:
Executive Assistant Support to CEO and Leadership Team
· Provide comprehensive PA support to the Chief Executive, including proactive diary management, anticipating needs, and coordinating complex schedules
· Prepare for team meetings and other key meetings, including agenda compilation, document preparation, and follow-up actions
· Support the preparation of high-quality presentations and key documents for internal and external stakeholders
· Organise and coordinate team events, including summer and Christmas parties, team lunches, and ad hoc meals and events
· Provide responsive tech support and troubleshooting to the CEO and Leadership Team, helping them make effective use of available tools

KCBNA is an outstanding organisation that exists to tackle inequality, create opportunities and transform lives. Our award winning youth provision needs an outstanding youth service manager with excetional skills.
Role Overview
As the Youth Service Manager, you will lead KCBNA’s youth provision for young people within the KCBNA youth centre, King’s Cross and surrounding areas. You will oversee the delivery of funded programmes, develop new initiatives, and ensure high-quality workshops, training, and mentoring. This role also involves managing teams, budgets, safeguarding responsibilities, and building partnerships to support the charity’s mission of empowering young people and creating stronger communities.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Management:
· Lead the design and delivery of KCBNA’s diverse range of youth provision.
· Ensure all evaluation reports required by the funder is completed in a timely manner liaising with the dedicated Grants officers.
· Develop and deliver engaging workshops, training sessions, and mentoring opportunities for young people.
· Ensure a seamless transition for young people.
· Take the lead on specific projects to grow and evolve youth work in line with the organisation’s strategy.
Team Leadership:
· Line manages the Youth workers.
· Recruit, train, and manage young volunteers.
· Oversee induction, training, development, and performance management of team members.
Safeguarding and Risk Management:
· Manage day-to-day safeguarding responsibilities and report to the lead safeguarding manager.
· Conduct health and safety risk assessments to ensure safe programme delivery.

Budget and Resource Management:

Overview:
Spires supports homeless and vulnerably housed people in South London. This role focuses on trusts, foundations, and government funding, working closely with the CEO to maintain strong funder relationships and deliver compelling bids.
Spires has undergone a period of rapid transformation, moving to a model of multi-site working across three London Boroughs. Our core services include, day centre style drop-ins for homeless people, a Women’s drop in, a Refugee drop in and outreach targeted at supporting Women who are sex working.
Part 1: Job profile
1.1 Purpose of job
To generate income from a diverse funding pool that includes trusts, foundations, government and other funding sources as appropriate. Trusts and foundations remain the primary funding source for Spires so maintaining consistent application output is a core element of the role.
To manage our relationships with funders which will include reporting, networking and proactive engagement.
Work with Spires CEO and the Head of Client Services to ensure that data and outcomes are being effectively captured in a way that is helpful for evidencing impact.
1.2 Position in organisation
The post holder will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Whilst not an operational role, the post holder will maintain a connection to our services so as to be able to represent the service accurately in funding bids.
Part 2: Key duties and responsibilities
2.1 Income generation
- Maximise existing and find new income to meet agreed income targets.
- Research, write and present attractive propositions for a range of quality funding bids, proposals and documentation.
- Produce and submit quality funding reports to meet deadlines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fundraising regulations, networks and developments across the sector, advising on best practice
2.3 Planning, monitoring and reporting
- Contribute to internal planning and budget setting, setting out clear plans for income generation.

Part 4: Summary of terms and conditions of service
Location: The postholder will be an employee of The Spires Centre. This post is based at 2nd Floor, Elmfield House, 5 Stockwell Mews, SW9 9GX This role will by hybrid with three days in the office and two days from home.
Probation: This post is subject to a 6 month probationary period.
Notice: This post is subject to an 12 weeks’ notice period once confirmed in post.
Annual leave: The annual leave entitlement is 35 days per year including 8 bank holidays.
Pension: The Spires Centre will contribute 5% of annual salary for those who qualify for our group pension plan.
Other benefits: The Spires Centre will provide life and income protection insurance for those who qualify for our group plans.
Expenses: This role will require travel within London. Out-of-pocket expenses will be paid when incurred in accordance with our expenses policy.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced and organised Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of Healthwatch Waltham Forest and Healthwatch Newham. You will manage operational activity, support staff and volunteers, maintain strong governance processes, and ensure that insight gathered from local people leads to meaningful improvements.
You will work closely with the Chief Executive and Advisory Groups in each borough and help shape annual work programmes based on evidence, engagement, and co-production.

We are looking for a highly organised, experienced and exceptional administrator to work as a trusted partner to The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Church Development Agency (CDA). The CDA is a national organisation dedicated to supporting the Church in serving its communities through the delivery of affordable housing and community development projects, established in response to the Church of England’s “Coming Home” report.
This key role within the CDA requires a thinker who can anticipate needs, manage priorities, and support The CEO in his leadership function and ensuring effective governance. About this role: Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the Head of Business and Market Development will build on SIB’s existing research and findings on market scope and scale, organisational financial resilience, the cost of capital and fund financial modelling to support the delivery of SIB’s ambitious new strategy, and hit our business development targets as part of an ambitious growth plan. This new post will develop SIB’s work and the rigour and robustness of our market and financial analytics in order to grow the organisation, the amount of investment under management and the annual disbursement of grant funds.
Key responsibilities
1. Working closely with the CEO and Deputy CEO support the delivery of ambitious growth targets under the new strategy.
2. Oversee the regulatory transition to FCA regulation for a defined number of SIB subsidiaries, drawing together the relevant internal documentation, working with the FCA – and any specialist retained consultants – to ensure that SIB is quickly and effectively accredited.
3. Work with the CEO and Deputy CEO to advance SIB’s applications for capital from Public Finance Institutions including the National Wealth Fund.
4. Working with the wider BD team, draw on market and financial modelling that incorporates existing data on SIB’s customers across its funds (using e.g. IMD, turnover, assets, age, business model) to develop excellent bids and tenders for new grant funds and to structure successful investment raises.
5. Oversee the reporting of all funds managed through the SIB group subsidiaries to their investors. This should include quality control of regular analytics, KPIs and case studies, regular catch up calls with investors and occasional presentations remote and in person.
6. Oversee the regularity and quality of analytics of SIB’s enterprise level impact to provide a consistent snapshot across all funds, including for SIB’s internal subsidiary board meetings.
7. Work with the Market and Financial Analyst to develop a strategic approach to financial modelling of funds. This should include an approach to cost base calculations (taking into account variability in disbursement rates, portfolios under management, loan vs. grant, capital vs. revenue, pace and automation), consistent treatment of interest payments, management and administrative fees and internal investment. The base model should be able to inform forward planning and business development, as well as serve to stack up the financial viability of BD opportunities as they arise.
8. Work with the Systems and Data teams to ensure that the base model is embedded within SIB’s operations and informs fund and programme management.
9. Lead a horizon scanning function that effectively drives comparative benchmarking against competitor / peer organisations.
10. Oversee the team’s work with the Finance and Governance teams to ensure that market analytics include effective customer feedback, collected regularly and embedded in key performance indicators.
11. Alongside the Deputy CEO and the wider Data, Insights and Advocacy team, oversee the delivery of the annual impact report, bringing colleagues together to identify key findings and deliver each report. Ensure that the impact report reflects market analytics, providing context that identifies SIB’s leadership and place within the wider sector.
12. Oversee the management – as needed – of any external consultants working on more complex financial models / additional research and learning that contributes to market or business development.
13. Alongside the Deputy CEO and the wider BD team, design and facilitate general learning sessions and programme specific learning sessions with small and large groups, this may include partners, customers and the SIB Board as well as colleagues. Elicit learning from these sessions, share findings and support your colleagues to integrate action points into our systems. This learning approach should particularly reflect how customer need / satisfaction is met by different fund and programme structures.
