CST Client Advisor
Role:
As a CST Client Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients transitioning from military to civilian life by providing tracking, referral, and job matching services. Working closely with the CST team, you will offer advice and guidance to both clients and employers, utilising ADAPT and the CTP jobs board (RightJob). This role requires a dedicated individual with exceptional communication skills and a passion for supporting others.
Reporting to the CST Team Leader and Support Centre Manager, you will contribute to the efficient operation of our office through your dedication and customer service skills.
This role offers flexible working hours, including options for full-time or part-time (minimum of 3 days or 21 hours) employment, and is open to job share arrangements with a salary of £22,000 pro rata.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the progress of clients through telephone and email tracking, adhering to CTP CCMP and relevant working instructions.
- Refer clients to appropriate resources such as Employment Advisors, Specialist Employment Consultants, or Career Consultants, in alignment with CTP CCMPs.
- Provide responsive helpdesk support to employers and service leavers requiring assistance with CTP online services.
- Accurately record all interactions with clients and employers on the CTP ADAPT BMS.
- Track client outcomes post-discharge and record successful "Settled" outcomes as per CST CCMP.
- Encourage employers to utilize the Right Job registration and vacancy posting process.
- Assist in promoting CTP services to service leavers and employers.
- Provide cover for other team members during absences or holidays.
- Undertake additional tasks and requests as directed by the CST Team Leader / Support Centre Manager.

Essential Competencies:
- NVQ Advice and Guidance (Level 3) or equivalent.
- Experience in guiding, advising, and supporting individuals.
- Self-motivated team player dedicated to achieving successful outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a personable manner and strong telephone technique.
- Proficient in IT and keyboard skills.
- Experience in business administration, including database and customer relation management systems.

As our Senior Operations Officer, working closely with the Head of Operations, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of our organisational operations. Supporter Engagement is one of the most important teams that is central to the success of Alzheimer’s Society. About Creative Learning:
The Welsh Government and Arts Council of Wales are collaborating on a major project to enhance the quality of creative learning in Wales’ schools. An ambitious programme of activity has been set out in Creative Learning through the arts – an action plan for Wales.
The Plan set out a joint implementation strategy that has enabled the Arts Council and Welsh Government to work together to implement the recommendations contained in the Arts in Education review report (Smith 2013). The plan has been successfully delivered over the 8 years from 2015 – 2023 and the Welsh Government has agreed to continue to work in partnership with the Arts Council of Wales until 2025.
About Project Leads:
There are 6 Project Leads (including this vacancy) and between them they cover the range of duties described in the job description. About you:

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Events Manager to lead on Media Trust’s 2024 calendar of fundraising and industry-facing events, including our upcoming 30th Birthday Fundraising Gala and support with other programme-related events.

Support the Programmes team and Media Trust Films team on delivery of events when necessary, including, but not limited to, Charity Challenge Days and Film Screenings

Provide a high standard of support to key stakeholders throughout the planning, execution and evaluation of each event

Develop and implement consistent processes, procedures and documentation for all events across Media Trust, including event timelines, agendas, speaker and staff briefs

Develop fundraising and sponsorship proposals to fund core events across Media Trust

Manage event budgets ensuring they are run cost effectively

Maximise the profitability (where appropriate), sustainability and quality of all events

Act as first point of contact for stakeholders including corporate partners, venues, caterers, speakers, attendees, Media Trust staff and Trustees

Research and suggest relevant key speakers and work with all Media Trust teams to finalise speakers for events

Work closely with the Marketing team to develop communications to promote events and drive engagement

Monitor KPIs and evaluate the impact of events, providing reports and feedback summaries as required

Ensure all Media Trust events and fundraising activities are logged effectively and Media Trust’s CRM is kept up-to-date
Corporate Partner Activity

Liaise with our Corporate Partners and lead on bespoke events organised as part of their partnership with Media Trust

Work closely with the Partnerships team to develop and deliver volunteer opportunities, recruiting, briefing and training volunteers including presentations and pitches

Work with other members of the Volunteering & Events Management team to support with other volunteering activity including development of innovative events and opportunities

What we are looking for in you
Essential

Experience of end-to-end event management, including the planning of fundraising events, and delivering high-impact results in a professional or charitable organisation

We are looking for a new full time, 17-month fixed term Funding Officer to join the passionate, vibrant and friendly team in the North West Region to be part of ensuring our funding supports a wide variety of communities and places locally. The role will cover Greater Manchester, with occasional work in other parts of the North West.
The team is based remotely across the North West of England and this role is to support delivery in Greater Manchester. Ideally the successful candidate will live in Greater Manchester and will be part of the local team, led by a Funding Manager, and comprised of several other Funding Officers.
As a member of the funding team you will assess applications for funding and manage grants from our Reaching Communities and Partnerships programmes. You will use your local knowledge and experience, and the experience of our grant holders and local stakeholders, to ensure we are making the best decisions on the grants we make. By working closely with people and communities from a defined geographical area, you will understand what matters to them and where our funding can make the biggest difference.
