Business Operations Manager
Location: Hybrid - Home & Walton-on-Thames
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week
Contract Type: Permanent

Are you ready to lead with purpose and passion?

We're excited to be recruiting for a long-standing, independent organisation at the heart of the learning disability community since 1946. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to step into a pivotal leadership role and make it their own.

As Business Operations Manager, you'll play a central role in shaping the future of the organisation. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, you'll lead a dedicated team and oversee day-to-day operations, while driving forward strategic ambitions. This is your chance to bring fresh energy, innovation, and vision to a well-loved organisation, helping it grow and thrive in new and meaningful ways.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Motivated to innovate - ready to diversify current activities and increase engagement during quieter periods.
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial - with a keen eye for opportunity and a proactive approach to service development.
  • A relationship-builder - experienced in forging strong partnerships with councils, funders, and other organisations through successful funding applications and bids.
  • A confident leader - able to inspire and manage a team, while ensuring operational excellence and financial sustainability.

This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with regular visits to Walton-on-Thames to connect with staff, volunteers, and service users. You'll be joining an organisation with a proud history and a bold vision for the future - and you'll be at the heart of making that vision a reality.

If you're ready to make a lasting impact and lead with purpose, we'd love to hear from you.

We want you to have every opportunity to demonstrate your skills, ability, and potential. Please inform us if you require any assistance or adjustment to help ensure the application process works for you.

At Charity People, we match charity needs with the skills and experience of candidates, irrespective of age, disability (including hidden disabilities), gender, gender identity or gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation. We do this because we know greater diversity will lead to even greater results for the charities we work with.
