This is a high-impact Executive Assistant role providing trusted, proactive support to the CEO & President, while also acting as a central pillar of governance and Board coordination across UK and US entities.

You will work at the heart of the organisation, ensuring the CEO's time, priorities and communications are expertly managed, and that Board and Committee cycles are delivered with rigour, accuracy and confidence.

  • Take accurate minutes and maintain statutory and governance registers
  • Ensure compliance with Charity Commission and Companies House requirements
  • Act as the main point of contact for the London office and key suppliers

  • Proven experience supporting Boards or Trustees, including preparing papers and taking formal minutes
  • Strong, practical knowledge of UK charity governance, including Charity Commission requirements
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders across cultures and time zones

FGHR offers a generous and wellbeing-focused benefits package, including:

  • Refreshing Fridays:
    • Every other Friday off from June to August as a wellbeing day
  • Pension:
    • Competitive employer contribution with matching options
  • Health & wellbeing:
    • Employer-paid private medical insurance (including dental and vision)
    • Income protection and life assurance
    • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Professional development:
    • Annual learning and development budget
  • Family-friendly policies and paid sick leave
  • Sabbatical:
    • Up to three months' paid sabbatical after seven years' service

Why this role?

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded philanthropic organisation doing deeply meaningful work, in a role that is trusted, varied and genuinely valued. You will be part of a small, supportive team where your contribution directly enables impact and where people are encouraged to stay, grow and build a long-term role.
