Allkind is a London-based mental health charity supporting people across the full mental health spectrum, from early intervention through to complex needs. Following a merger in December 2024, the organisation launched as Allkind in April 2026, bringing together decades of experience and a shared commitment to delivering compassionate, accessible support.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of People, the Senior People Advisor will play a key role in supporting managers and employees across a broad range of HR activities. You will act as a trusted advisor, leading on employee relations matters while supporting the wider People & OD function to deliver an excellent employee experience.

This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys balancing operational delivery with continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters
  • Support managers with complex people issues and employment law queries
  • Lead probation and performance review processes
  • Support organisational change projects, including restructures and TUPE processes
  • Enhance onboarding and induction programmes
  • Monitor and analyse HR metrics and people data
  • Support policy development and implementation
  • Assist with payroll administration and employee benefits processes
  • Support the effective use and management of HR systems
  • Contribute to wellbeing, EDI and organisational development initiatives

You will have

  • Strong HR generalist experience, ideally at Senior Advisor level
  • Excellent employee relations experience and employment law knowledge
  • Experience supporting managers across a range of people matters
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with HR systems and people data
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
  • Previous charity, healthcare or social care sector experience would be advantageous
