About Greater Together Manchester
Greater Together Manchester (GTM) is a visionary local charity which seeks mobilise communities across Greater Manchester, supporting churches and grassroots community leaders to create and develop social justice projects, to take on leadership roles and to engage with decision makers in order to tackle chronic issues of deprivation and disadvantage in their neighbourhoods. We also directly deliver a number of our own front-line services when this is the best way to tackle an urgent, acute need.
Founded as a joint initiative between the Diocese of Manchester and Church Urban Fund in 2015, Since 2015, GTM has supported 271 local community groups, provided training and support to 609 and grassroot community leaders and volunteers, secured more than £500,000 for local community initiatives, and supported 14,188 beneficiaries via our projects and programmes

Purpose of the post
To encourage the development of local churches’ response to poverty and social justice across the Diocese of Manchester, with a focus on developing sustainable projects that look to address the root causes of poverty.
To identify and link with existing community groups working on issues relating to poverty and social justice.
To help parishes work together with other sectors and stakeholders, encouraging collaboration and partnerships.
To encourage a movement for change, encouraging churches to engage with practical action, advocacy and systems change.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Development and Delivery
- Work with the CEO of Greater Together Manchester to develop a work plan for engaging with existing parish based social justice projects and initiatives, with a focus on shifting from crisis response to prevention.
- Provide a range of development support to new projects and initiatives.
- Be the contact person for parishes seeking advice and support on addressing issues of social justice.
- Keep up to date with the work of national, regional and local organisations and charities that work in this space, as well as keeping up to date with government policies, initiatives and communicating these effectively to parishes and communities.
- Develop effective monitoring and evaluation systems that demonstrate the impact of GTM’s development work.
Revitalisation and Promotion of Church-Based Social Justice Work
- To be an informed and knowledgeable advocate and champion for issues of social justice.
- To meet with leaders from churches across the Diocese to assess their social justice work and offer support and guidance where necessary.
- Raise the profile of church based social justice initiatives and project across the Diocese and amplify the effectiveness and impact of the work of churches in tackling social injustice.
- Support parishes and church-based projects with the monitoring and evaluation of their work, allowing them to demonstrate their impact more easily and accurately.
- Develop relationships with local, regional and national funders.
- Support the delivery of the relevant training for churches across the Diocese on topics relating to social justice.

Promote Effective Networking and Collaboration

Person Specification
Experience:
- Experience of working with church and community-based groups and projects
- Track record of building successful partnerships and working relationships with people at all levels, including people with lived experience
- Experience of working with volunteers and grassroots community leaders
- Facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to lead workshops, training sessions, and discussions
- Experience of developing and implementing robust monitoring and evolution frameworks and keeping accurate records

The Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, this role is responsible for the overall operational financial management and reporting for Leeds Hospitals Charity. The Financial Account is responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts, as well as line managing three Finance Officers in the team. Maintaining close links and building strong working relationships with the Senior Leadership Team is vital to ensure appropriate and timely provision of management information and close management of individual budgets.
The person will:
· Be responsible for statutory reporting, compliance, annual accounts and VAT, including charity SORP regulations.
· Ensure that all statutory accounts, reports and returns are accurate and represent a true and fair view of the Charity, meeting financial timescales and legal requirements.
· Act as the main point of contact and manage the annual audit process in conjunction with the appointed auditors.
· Be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and ensure that they accurately reflect the business activity, that accruals and other adjustments are being made correctly, that variances from budget and other issues are investigated and resolved.
· Prepare monthly investment portfolio movement statements, reconciling to the Fund Managers external reports.
· Prepare monthly fund reconciliations, documenting the movement on funds, split by fund types.
· Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations and post accounting journals to ensure the finance system reconciles to the payroll, be responsible for making the pension payments and all payroll taxes in a timely manner – within the externally fixed deadlines.
· Maintain the fixed asset register.
· Prepare quarterly VAT returns for submission to HMRC and calculate the partial exemption annual adjustment.
· Ensure that all income received is accounted for and expended in accordance with the donor’s wishes as per existing legislation and Charity Commission guidance.
· Continuously evaluate the Charity’s approach to financial reporting and compliance ensuring consistency with the Charity’s objects and values and effective and efficient processes.
· Line manage the finance officer(s), identifying opportunities for growth.
The successful candidate will have:
· A relevant accountancy qualification with significant post qualification experience, preferably in a not-for-profit organisation.
· Working knowledge of taxation issues (particularly Corporate Tax, Income Tax, NI, VAT and Gift Aid).
· Practical experience in the preparation of accounts under the Companies Act, Charities Act and particularly the Charity SORP.
· Experience of managing large technical projects to strict deadlines.
· Experience of accounting for restricted, designated and endowed funds including knowledge of income recognition criteria and overhead recovery considerations.
· Extensive experience of using charity accounting software, preferably Access Financials.
· Previous team management and development experience.

This role is based at our client's brand new, modern, light, airy, open plan offices, based in Clifton, Nottingham. So, if you enjoy collaborative working, in an office where all teams work side by side this is the place for you!
Working with their customers in a geographical area covering High Peak in Derbyshire down to Northampton, this role is one of two agile working ‘Tenancy Changes Advisors’ and forms part of their ‘Lettings Team’ comprising 20 talented colleagues. Reporting to the Lettings Senior Assistant, this a is fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to work across all of their tenures, utilising your existing skills and knowledge around the processes for Mutual Exchanges, Successions and changes in tenancy and the Homeswapper Scheme.
The Lettings Team builds better lives by offering customers suitable, affordable and safe long term housing accommodation suited to their individual needs. As their Tenancy Changes Advisor, you will use your existing skills and experience to support our customers with their applications to mutually exchange their tenancies, seeing the process through from receipt of application to assignment of tenancy. Receiving requests to succeed to tenancies and requests for tenancy changes i.e. moving from a joint to sole or sole to joint tenancy. They have established policies and procedures in place along with regulatory requirements to be met, which will support you in the execution of your duties. Complex cases will be supported by the Lettings Senior Assistant and the Lettings Manager. You will ensure that an exceptional customer service for all of their internal and external stakeholders is maintained throughout the service.
In this role, you will be supported by the Lettings Senior Assistant and be responsible for completing all of the administrative duties around the role responsibilities. You will liaise with our Property Services team to arrange the completion of property inspections and will be part of the wider Lettings Team who oversee the allocations of their re-let voids and new build homes across all tenures. They will expect the whole team to support each other at times of absence to ensure that the team continues to provide their full range of services to the highest standards.

As you will be joining an established team, some colleagues will have been a part of their Lettings Team for a considerable time and some are quite new to the team. All colleagues in the team will need to be adaptable to change as we regularly review our processes to ensure the best outcomes for our customers, reduce hand offs and adapt to external changes in governance and law. Therefore, you must have the willingness to learn, ability to use your own initiative and be able to make efficiencies where necessary. They require a strong team player with excellent communication skills who is able to support the team and vice-versa with business processes and/or the customer experience to fill any skills gaps that each individual may have. On the job and peer training will be provided along with training relevant to the role from their in house Learning and Development team to fully equip you in your new role.
What they require from you:
You will be organised to ensure you keep accurate records of the progress and outcomes for each mutual exchange and requests for changes to tenancy. You are able to prioritise your workload in order to meet your team and individual targets which will reduce the number of days a property is void and the amount of rent lost over the void period. You must be motivated and productive when working alone from home. Working from home will only be permitted once you have completed your training and probationary period. The team works 3 days from the office and 2 days from home – if you wish to work from the office for all 5 days, then that is fine and you get to choose which days you work from home and which days from the office, though you will be expected to attend the office on days when specific meetings are held such as the whole Lettings Team Meeting which takes place on a monthly basis.
Great listening skills are essential as well as the ability to spot inconsistencies with applications and be confident in probing to gather the information required in order to achieve a sustainable letting. Our client works with over 30 Local Authorities, utilising several Choice Based Lettings software packages for advertising, shortlisting and making offers along with the daily use of Microsoft word, excel and databases, so a high level of experience of computer software packages is an essential requirement for this role. Experience of Capita is advantageous, but training will be provided.

The role

Whilst you will predominately cover the Surrey catchment area, you will be happy and flexible to work anywhere within the south east, together with some degree of flexibility with the hours that you work, so that events can be held on occasional evenings and weekends. Your time will be spent at home developing your sessions, delivering a range of activities such as guided walks or talks, as well as hands on activities in and around a river, or educational events.

As the Project Administrator you will provide administrative and accounting support across the Networks for Nature project.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Provide full administrative support at all levels of project governance including project delivery team, Project Board and Steering Group, booking rooms, inviting staff, partners and other stakeholders and the taking of confidential minutes.

About the Service
The Complex Needs Housing Service works as a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) with housing teams and Drug and Alcohol Services across District and Borough councils. These teams will be working with individuals who are presenting as homeless and have a number of Complex Needs.
Service Objectives
- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental ill health.
- To increase early access to help for people experiencing mental ill health in, by providing a clear and effective pathway to services provided by Herts Mind Network and other third sector and statutory providers.
- To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
- To reduce the use of police, ASB, tenancy enforcement, housing needs and environmental health services by clients whose primary need is related to mental ill health.
- To reduce the use of crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health with positive outcomes for the individual.
- To provide an assertive outreach approach for clients who are in crisis and/ or those that may have complex or multiple needs.
- To work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) consisting of Change Grow Live (CGL), District and Borough councils, housing teams and other professionals.

Location: Sidmouth, Devon
Salary: £39,000 – £44,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm)

At Rose Lawn, a charming 29-bed care home nestled in the picturesque seaside town of Sidmouth, we're searching for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead our team and home into its next chapter. About the Role
As Registered Manager, you’ll be the heart and soul of Rose Lawn—leading a team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and inspiring staff through effective management, supervision, and development
- Upholding care excellence, ensuring we exceed CQC standards across all key areas
- Managing budgets, finances, and sustainability with confidence
- Building community, engaging with residents, families, churches, and local networks
- Fostering a safe and nurturing environment, rooted in compassion and faith
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- Completed or working towards Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care
- Experience managing or supervising in a care setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills
- A passion for values-led, person-centred care
Desirable:
- Experience working with people with dementia
- Familiarity with Christian values in care environments
- Proficiency with digital care planning systems
