About Children with Cancer UK

Children with Cancer UK is a leading charity dedicated to funding research, providing support for families, and raising awareness of childhood cancer. Since its inception, the charity has raised over £300 million, significantly improving survival rates and enhancing treatments.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Corporate New Business Manager to play a crucial role in driving corporate partnerships and securing new business opportunities to support the charity’s income growth. 

Reporting to the Head of Public Fundraising, the role is focused on identifying, engaging, and securing high-value corporate partners (£25K+).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on securing new corporate partnerships with income targets of over £25K.
  • Identify, research, and cultivate potential corporate partners.
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations for prospective partners.
  • Deliver on KPIs and financial targets, ensuring effective reporting on the new business pipeline.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop strong partnership proposals.
  • Represent the charity at key meetings, presentations, and events.
  • Maintain and update the new business pipeline using the CRM system.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Essential Experience:

  • Proven success in securing new business within the charity sector or a relevant field.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Track record of meeting fundraising or sales KPIs.
  • Knowledge of corporate fundraising trends and UK fundraising regulations.

  • Strong networking and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a creative approach to engaging corporate partners.
